Abstract

This invention related to a pillow so designed as to allow a person to access internal pillow material to properly rearrange and adjust the density to fit her / his body size and sleeping habitant. This pillow is filled with a special material that reacts with head weight positions and section pockets to fit to relieve pressure on the sleeper's eyes, nose, throat, shoulders and blood vessels and glands of the neck. Several of the most common causes of snoring are eliminated, so a person sleeps more soundly and quietly.

Description

  • This invention is related to a pillow created so that sizing can be adjusted and pockets rearranged by changing filling densities to match an individual's body size and sleeping habit positions.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Current common pillows are a standard design that is filled with a soft material such as plastic base made or cotton or different materials in different sizes where most of them are uncomfortable and not adjustable. Although there have been attempts to improve the original design to address these issues, they have been wholly unsuccessful. An example of this is shown in U.S. Pat. No. 7,222,379 B2 DiGirolamo, which includes three pillow chambers as well as a plurality of insert to support characteristics of the pillow. There are other pillows shown in US Pat. 20120073055-A1 Cupo; which include multipurpose ergonomic adjustable pillow offset cutout where the insert is rectangular in shape with a U-shape offset cutout alone where one side that can be rotated to accommodate a variety of sleeping and resulting positions. These pillows, however, do not provide more comfort or adjustable support capabilities. It would be desirable to have a pillow that is capable of being properly adjusted to fit the head and neck size, and the ability to rearrange the pockets density to provide areas for different sleeping positions such as face up, right or left sleeping positions.
  • SUMMARY OF INVENTION
  • The pillow includes identical top and bottom portions. The top and bottom portions including space longitudinal are secured around including a Zipper or Velcro peripheries. Inside consists of a minimum of five to a maximum of nine parallel directions pockets. The filling consists of low density or high density shredded or scrubbed pieces of polyurethane foam.
  • “The substitute specification includes no new matter”
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1. Shows a perspective view of low density or high density shredded or scrubbed pieces of polyurethane foam.
  • FIG. 2. Shows a perspective view of densities arrangement in pillow.
  • FIG. 3. Shows a perspective view of pocket arrangement lengths and widths.
  • FIG. 4. Shows a perspective view of head location with height level during use.
  • FIG. 5. Shows a perspective of pillow's top and bottom portions plus zippers or Velcro location.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
  • The invention is intended to be used and customed for people of all ages. The particular pillow may be contoured in different sizes including, twin, full, queen or king. FIG. 1 shows pockets 8 and 9 filled with low density of 0.3 or 0.4 pound per cubic feet and high density of 0.6 or 0.8 pound per cubic feet of shredded or scrubbed pieces of polyurethane foam in the pockets. The internal filling can be adjusted for softness/hardness or height by removing or adding internal material through zipper or Velcro 56 openings. FIG. 2 Shows the pillow with seven pockets and filling arrangements, 10,12,14,16 as high density pockets and 11,13,15 as low density pockets. FIG. 3 Shows 17, the pillow's length such as standard 25-inch, queen 30-inch and king 35-inch long, also shows each individual pocket's diameter 18,19,20,21,22,23, and 24 of 3 to 6 inches. FIG. 4 Shows an arrangement of high density 25 and 26 and low density 27 pocket also the head 28, head 28 placed on 27 which will be 29 one to two-inches lower than 25 and 26 that holds 28 staying in place during sleep. When in face up or face down position the pockets 20,21,22 are used. When in right shoulder sleeping position the pockets 18,19,20 are used and in left shoulder sleeping position the pockets 22,23,24 are used. FIG.5 includes identical top 48 and bottom 52-layer assemblies which are secured together, by stitching along the three longitudinal edges 48,49,50 and 52,53,54 and Zipper or Velcro 56 in front. The top 48 and bottom 52 layer assemblies together to form pockets, by attaching 33,39 and 34,40 and 35,41 and 36,42 and 37,43 and 38,44 at equal distances along two sides edges to form seven pockets. 46 and 47 represent length and width of equal top and bottom dimensions.
  • “The substitute specification includes no new matter”
  • Although a preferred embodiment of the invention has been disclosed for purposes of illustration, it should be understood that various changes, modifications and substitutions may be incorporated in the embodiment without departing from the spirit of the invention which is defined by the claims which follow.
  • Description
  • Current common pillows are standard designed of a cover sheet that is filled with a soft material such as plastic foams or cotton or different materials and comes in different sizes, or a cover sheet with one or two inside pillows. All these pillows are closed up and are filled with either soft or hard internal materials which aren't comfortable for some people and no option for adjustment after purchased. Even small size person heads, necks, shoulders and bodies are different sizes and sleeping habitant and can't use the one-size small pillow to fit. FIG. 7-9. The solution is PERSONALIZE PILLOW, the latest designed pillow that easily having access to internal pillow material to properly rearrange arid adjust the density to fit her/his body size and sleeping habitant, is filled with a special material that reacts with head weight positions and section pockets that stays in firm density during use to achieve a comfortable sleep regardless of your sleeping habitant or body sizes. Person have control of these adjustment and change options after purchasing the PERSONAL FIT PILLOW. FIG. 10-12. You are able to wash and dry it weekly, monthly or any time, and if you feel needs to add inside material for makeup, feel free to do so.
  • This invention is designed pillow that includes a pillow cover sheet with a zipper on one side FIG. 4-6 and an inside pillow with a zipper and three to ten pockets FIGS. 1-2. The inside pillow pocket is filled with plastic foams, cottons and any soft materials or fluids. The internal pockets material can be arranged for different or preferred densities, high-density areas (HD) or low-density areas (LD). FIG. 15, 16. The internal materials can be soft plastic foam, scrap, crashed, different size chunks or only one bulk or few big bulks of plastic foams. FIG. 14.
