    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to the field of sports goods, and in particular to a composite ball with high wear resistance and waterproofness.
  • At present, ball games have the reputation of “the No. 1 sport in the world”, and are individual sports with highest influence on the global sports circles.
  • In the prior art, leather is adopted normally to produce ball products. Although leather has certain wear resistance, in a high-intensity game or a court game with poor environment, the surface strength of leather balls cannot meet use requirements, and the wear speed of balls is high. Moreover, as conventional balls are usually formed by directly splicing or sewing multiple ball pieces on a bladder, the process is complex, waterproofness is poor, and the ball pieces are easy to break and shed after repeated use, affecting the service life. Now, a composite ball with high wear resistance and waterproofness which can solve the above problems is needed.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention provides a composite ball with high wear resistance and waterproofness, which solves the problem that conventional balls in use are easy to wear by technically altering conventional ball structures.
  • In order to solve the above technical problem, the present invention specifically adopts the following technical solution: a composite ball with high wear resistance and waterproofness, comprising: a bladder layer, an attached sheet layer, and a protective layer, wherein the bladder layer comprises a solid ball filled with an elastic material, the attached sheet layer comprises an upper attached sheet layer and a lower attached sheet layer, the attached external surfaces of the upper attached sheet layer and the lower attached sheet layer are also covered by the protective layer which is molded by injecting the elastic material, the upper attached sheet layer and the lower attached sheet layer can wrap the exterior of the bladder layer and be spliced together to form a complete ball, and a viscous material is arranged at the joint between the upper attached sheet layer and the lower attached sheet layer, so that the upper attached sheet layer and the lower attached sheet layer are tightly stuck together.
  • Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the following beneficial effects: the present invention adopts a thermoplastic elastic material as the external protective layer, the whole of the ball is formed by injection molding on the exterior of the attached sheet layer and adopting the method of sticking the upper attached sheet layer and the lower attached sheet layer together, so the integrity is high; because of the in-mold injection molding method, molding in a circular mold can achieve an effect closer to a true circle, and an assembly method using a small number of pieces is adopted which is different from the traditional multi-piece assembly, thus a rapid assembly can be realized; moreover, as the present invention adopts the injection molding method for the first time to form the protective layer on the surface of the attached sheet layer, the protective layer has the properties of waterproofness, wear resistance and easiness in formation, so that the present invention has special waterproof and wear-resisting properties in comparison with conventional balls; and the production process is optimized, so that production is quicker and more efficient.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The specific content of the present invention will be described in detail below in reference to FIGS. 1-5 and embodiments.
  • As shown in FIGS. 1-5, the present embodiment provides a composite ball with high wear resistance and waterproofness, comprising: a bladder layer 1, an attached sheet layer 2, and a protective layer 3, wherein the bladder layer 1 comprises a solid ball filled with an elastic material, the attached sheet layer 2 comprises an upper attached sheet layer 21 and a lower attached sheet layer 22, the attached external surfaces of the upper attached sheet layer 21 and the lower attached sheet layer 22 are also covered by the protective layer 3 which is molded by injecting the elastic material, the upper attached sheet layer 21 and the lower attached sheet layer 22 can wrap the exterior of the bladder layer 1 and be spliced to form a complete ball, and a viscous material is arranged at the joint between the upper attached sheet layer 21 and the lower attached sheet layer 22, so that the upper attached sheet layer 21 and the lower attached sheet layer 22 are tightly stuck together.
  • A ball preparation process of the present embodiment is as follows:
  • (a) a leather material which has been attached is printed, and the leather material is then cut into ball pieces;
  • (b) the ball pieces are attached onto a semispherical mold and stuck to form the semispherical attached sheet layer 2;
  • (c) the semispherical mold and the semispherical attached sheet layer 2 are put into an injection molding machine to undergo injection molding, so that a uniform rubber layer is formed on the external surface of the semispherical attached sheet layer 2, and thus the upper attached sheet layer 21 and the lower attached sheet layer 22 are produced; and
  • (b) the upper attached sheet layer 21 and the lower attached sheet layer 22 wrap the bladder layer 1, pressed to be spliced and then glued, so that the desired composite ball is produced ultimately.
  • In order to achieve the wear-resisting property of the protective layer 3, TPU, TPR, PU, TR, SBS or the like is adopted generally as the elastic material, the present embodiment adopts thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer, TPU for short, TPU has the outstanding characteristics of excellent wear resistance, excellent ozone resistance, high hardness, high strength, good elasticity, low temperature resistance, good water and oil resistance, chemical resistance and environment resistance, and moreover, TPU has high transparency and finish, and does not affect the visual effect of printing when being injected onto the external surface of the attached sheet layer 2.
  • In order to ensure that the upper attached sheet layer 21 and the lower attached sheet layer 22 can be spliced tightly and cannot separate easily after being stuck, the joint between the upper attached sheet layer 21 and the lower attached sheet layer 22 is sawtoothed, moreover, the edge of each of the upper attached sheet layer 21 and the lower attached sheet layer 22 is provided with convex portions 5 and concave portions 6, each convex portion 5 is adjacent to one concave portion 6, each convex portion 5 or concave portion 6 of the upper attached sheet layer 21 corresponds to each convex portion 5 or concave portion 6 of the lower attached sheet layer 22, so that the upper attached sheet layer 21 and the lower attached sheet layer 22 can be embedded with each other. After being embedded, sticking is carried out, so that the upper attached sheet layer 21 and the lower attached sheet layer 22 can be tightly stuck together and cannot separate easily.
  • In order to enhance the durability of balls, a reinforcing layer 4 is also arranged between the bladder layer 1 and the attached sheet layer 2, and the reinforcing layer 4 is wound outside the bladder layer 1 using a weaving thread, a woven fabric or a non-woven fabric to form a reinforcing sheet layer. The nylon net of the weaving thread, woven fabric or non-woven fabric enhances the roundness and elastic strength of balls.
  • In order to achieve a better effect in use, the viscous material is waterproof sealant. The waterproof sealant can effectively prevent rainwater from entering via the splicing seal between the upper attached sheet layer 21 and the lower attached sheet layer 22, preventing the attached sheet layer 2 and the bladder layer 1 from being soaked and damaged by rainwater, and making the ball have better waterproof property.
  • The present invention adopts TPU as the external protective layer 3, the whole of the ball is formed by injection molding on the exterior of the attached sheet layer 2 and adopting the method of sticking the upper attached sheet layer 21 and the lower attached sheet layer 22 together, so the integrity is high; moreover, as the present invention adopts the injection molding method for the first time to form the protective layer 3 on the surface of the attached sheet layer 2, the protective layer 3 has the properties of waterproofness, wear resistance and easiness in formation, so that the present invention has special waterproof and wear-resisting properties in comparison with conventional balls; and the production process is optimized, so that production is quicker and more efficient.
  • Finally, it should be explained that the above embodiment are merely intended to illustrate rather than limit the technical solution of the present invention. Although the present invention is illustrated in detail in reference to the preferred embodiment, it should be understood by those with ordinary skill in the art that modification or equivalent replacement can be made on the technical solution of the present invention without departing the purpose and scope of the technical solution of the present invention, and should all fall into the scope of the claim of the present invention.
