control unit 50 is connected to the second retainingseat 20. Thecontrol unit 50 includes two connectingrods 51. One end of each of the connectingrods 51 is provided with asecond pivot portion 511. Thesecond pivot portions 511 of the two connectingrods 51 are connected to the second pivot ends 22 of the second retainingseat 20, respectively. An operatingrod 52 is transversely connected between the other ends of the two connectingrods 51. The two connectingrods 51 each have acoupling portion 512 at a central portion thereof. - The two connecting
members 60 each have afirst end 61 and asecond end 62. The first ends 61 of the two connectingmembers 60 are connected to the second connecting ends 413 of the two linkingmembers 41, respectively. The second ends 62 of the two connectingmembers 60 are connected to thecoupling portions 512 of the two connectingrods 51, respectively. -
FIG. 6 andFIG. 7 are schematic views in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention when in use. When the user wants to install thedust collecting barrel 209 to thedust collector 200, thedust collecting barrel 209 is pushed to be located under thebarrel cover 208. The operatingrod 52 is pulled upward so that thecontrol unit 50 is pivoted about the second pivot ends 22, meanwhile, the linkingunit 40 is driven to swing by the connectingmembers 60. By the lever principle, the linkingunit 40 uses the first pivot ends 12 as a fulcrum. When thecontrol unit 50 drives the linkingunit 40 to swing upward, the first connectingend 412 of the linkingunit 40 is swung downward and thesupport member 31 is moved downward. Thebarrel cover 208 is pressed downward by thesupport member 31 to seal thedust collecting barrel 209. Through theelastic member 34, thedust collecting barrel 209 is closely sealed by thebarrel cover 208. - As shown in
FIG. 8 , when the operatingrod 52 is pulled to the highest point, the linkingunit 40, thecontrol unit 50 and the connectingmembers 60 almost form a straight line, so that the linkingunit 40, thecontrol unit 50 and the connectingmembers 60 form a toggle effect in a dead center state. The linkingunit 40 can be retained after the user releases the operatingrod 52 so that thesupport member 31 continues to press thebarrel cover 208 down to complete the installation of thedust collecting barrel 209. Thebuckle mechanism 100 assists the user in installing thedust collecting barrel 209 quickly and easily, thereby greatly improving the working efficiency. - However, when the user wants to replace the
dust collecting barrel 209, the operatingrod 52 is pulled downward for the linkingunit 40, thecontrol unit 50 and the connectingmembers 60 to be released from the dead center state, and the second connecting ends 413 of the linkingunit 40 are moved downward by thecontrol unit 50 so that the first connecting ends 412 of the linkingunit 40 are moved upward to lift thesupport unit 30 upward. Thebarrel cover 208 is disengaged from thedust collecting barrel 209 so that the user can pull out thedust collecting barrel 209 easily for replacing and cleaning thedust collecting barrel 209 conveniently. - It is to be noted that the position of the operating
rod 52 is suitable for the user to operate thebuckle mechanism 100 in a standing state. Therefore, the user can easily pull the operatingrod 52 without bending or squatting. Thebuckle mechanism 100 may be directly mounted on either side of thedust collector 200 for the user to replace thedust collecting barrel 209 at the side mounted with thebuckle mechanism 100, so that thedust collector 200 can be placed in a smaller space. - Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
