  • The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING(S)
  • The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
  • FIG. 1 is a top perspective view of a foot stool assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 2 is a bottom view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

  • FIG. 4 is a front view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 5 is a perspective in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new stool device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
  • As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 5, the foot stool assembly 10 generally comprises a first pillow 12 that is selectively inflated. The first pillow 12 is selectively positioned on a support surface 14 having the first pillow 12 being aligned with a chair 16. The support surface 14 may be a floor or other horizontal supports surface. The first pillow 12 has a bottom wall 18, a top wall 20, a perimeter wall 22 extending therebetween and an outer surface 24. The first pillow 12 is comprised of a fluid impermeable material such as poly-vinyl chloride or the like. Moreover, the first pillow 12 may have a length ranging between approximately 30.0 cm and 40.0 cm, a width ranging between approximately 20.0 cm and 30.0 cm and a height ranging between approximately 35.0 cm and 40.0 cm.
  • A first valve 26 is fluidly coupled to the first pillow 12 and the first valve 26 selectively passes air into the first pillow 12 to inflate the first pillow 12. The first valve 26 is coupled to the outer surface 24 corresponding to the perimeter wall 22 and the first valve 26 is in fluid communication with an interior of the first pillow 12. The first valve 26 has a distal end 28 with respect to the outer surface 24 and the distal end 28 is open. The first valve 26 may be an air valve of any conventional design and the user 40 may blow into the first valve 26 to inflate the first pillow 12.
  • A plurality of mating members 30 is provided and each of the mating members 30 is coupled to the bottom wall 18 to engage the support surface 14. In this way the mating members 30 inhibit the first pillow 12 from moving on the support surface 14. Each of the mating members 30 is positioned on the outer surface 24 corresponding to the bottom wall 18. Additionally, the mating members 30 are spaced apart from each other and are distributed on the bottom wall 18. Each of the mating members 30 has an exposed surface 32 with respect to the first pillow 12 and the exposed surface 32 may adhesively engage the support surface 14. Each of the mating members 30 may comprise multiple use adhesive tape or the like.
  • A second pillow 34 is coupled to the first pillow 12 such that the second pillow 34 is spaced from the support surface 14 when the second pillow 34 is selectively inflated. A user's feet 36 are selectively positioned on the second pillow 34 thereby enhancing circulation in the user's feet 36 and legs 38 when the user 40 is seated in the chair 16. The second pillow 34 has an upper wall 42, a peripheral wall 44 extending downwardly therefrom and an outside surface 46. The peripheral wall 44 has a distal edge 48 with respect to the upper wall 42. Additionally, the distal edge 48 is coupled to the top wall 20 of the first pillow 12 and the peripheral wall 44 is aligned with the perimeter wall 22. The distal edge 48 forms a fluid impermeable seal with the top wall 20.
  • A second valve 50 is fluidly coupled to the second pillow 34 and the second valve 50 selectively passes air into the second pillow 34 to inflate the second pillow 34. The second valve 50 is coupled to the outside surface 46 corresponding to the peripheral wall 44 and the second valve 50 is in fluid communication with an interior of the second pillow 34. Moreover, the second valve 50 has a distal end 52 with respect to the outer surface 24 and the distal end 52 of the second valve 50 is open. The second valve 50 may be an air valve of any conventional design and the user 40 may blow into the second valve 50 to inflate the second pillow 34.
  • A pad 54 is coupled to the second pillow 34 and the user's feet 36 are selectively positioned on the pad 54. The pad 54 is comprised of a resiliently compressible material to enhance comfort of the user's feet 36. The pad 54 has a first surface 56 and a second surface 58, and the first surface 56 is coupled to the outside surface 46 of the upper wall 42. The user's feet 36 are positioned on the second surface 58 and the pad 54 completely covers the upper wall 42. The pad 54 may be a quilted pad or the like.
  • A pocket 60 is provided and the pocket 60 is coupled to the first pillow 12 to selectively store objects. The pocket 60 is coupled to the outer surface 24 of the perimeter wall 22. Additionally, the pocket 60 has an outer edge 62 and the outer edge 62 has a bottom side 64, a pair of lateral sides 66 and a top side 68. Each of the bottom 64 and lateral sides 66 is coupled to the outer surface 24. Moreover, the top side 68 is spaced from the outer surface 24 to define an opening 70 into the pocket 60.
  • In use, each of the first 12 and second 34 pillows is selectively inflated when the user 40 is going to be seated in the chair 16. The user 40 sits in the chair 16 and the user's feet 36 are positioned on the pad 54. In this way the user's feet 36 and the user's legs 38 are elevated such that a bottom of the user's thighs is raised from the chair 16. Thus, blood circulation is enhanced in each of the user's legs 38 and feet 36 to inhibit swelling and other complications associated with poor blood circulation in the user's legs 38 and feet 36. Each of the first 12 and second 34 pillows is selectively deflated thereby facilitating each of the first 12 and second 34 pillows to be conveniently stored. In this way the user 40 can pack the first 12 and second 34 pillows for travel in buses, airplanes or other activities that involve being seated for extended periods of time.
  • With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
