Description
- This application claims priority to German Application No. 20 2015 106 596.5, filed Dec. 23, 2015, the contents of which are incorporated by reference herein.
- The present invention relates to a rebound net arrangement with a support and at least one multisided rebound net with a net height and a net width that can be fastened thereto, wherein the support comprises two posts that can be braced, for which there is provided at one of their ends a ground contact area for setting up the posts on the ground.
- Rebound nets are sports nets from which a ball rebounds particularly strongly if it strikes the net when under tension. The rebound effect is in this case produced by the tensioning of the net. In order to intensify the rebound effect of a conventional net, the rebound net can comprise elastic elements. When fastened between two spars or in a goal-like space the rebound net forms a ball game device.
- “Futchi” is a new type of sport, combining football and squash. The rebound net is stretched inclined relative to the ground at the end of a marked out four sided playing field. “Futchi” is played with two or more players. The aim of the game is to strike the football into the rebound net so that the opponent no longer reaches it or cannot return it into the net. A point is played so long as the ball does not go out, bounces twice or misses the net.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a rebound net arrangement that can be installed as simply as possible and is also easy to transport and/or has an increased functionality.
- This object is achieved by a rebound net arrangement according to one or more of the appended claims.
- According to this a rebound net arrangement is provided with a support and at least one multisided rebound net with a net height and a net width (dimensions in the plane of the net) that can be fastened thereto, wherein the support comprises two posts that can be braced, for which at one of their ends a ground contact area is provided for setting up the posts on the ground, and wherein at least one fastening means is arranged on the posts in each case at a predefined height viewed from the ground contact area, between which an upper edge of the at least one rebound net can be stretched, wherein the height is less than the net height of the at least one rebound net. Accordingly, the rebound net is tensioned inclined with respect to the posts and is stretched by conventional means on its lower side. With this solution the rebound net arrangement involves extremely few structural components, so that it can be easily and conveniently transported in its individual parts.
- In an advantageous embodiment the rebound net arrangement has a ball protection net, which can be fastened by means of a further fastening means to the end of the posts remote from the ground.
- In addition, a rebound net arrangement according to claim 3 is provided with a support and at least one rebound net that can be fastened thereto, wherein the rebound net arrangement comprises a ball protection net and two posts, wherein in the installed state the ball protection net is held by the two posts and at least partially extends beyond and over the at least one rebound net. The aim of the ball protection net is to ensure that balls that are kicked in the direction of the rebound net but which miss the rebound net can be retained by the ball protection net, so that the ball remains in the proximity of the playing field or training area.
- For reasons of stability it is advantageous with this second solution if the posts are joined to a frame construction that includes the support, especially if it is not possible to brace the posts or also the rebound net via cables with corresponding ground pegs. A bracing of the posts by means of cables fastened to the ground is however an equally preferred embodiment.
- With this second solution it is also preferred if the frame construction comprises a ground contact area from which, viewed at a predefined height, an upper edge of the at least one rebound net can be braced in the support, wherein the net height is less than the net height of the at least one rebound net.
- In this connection it is advantageous if the ball protection net is of trapezoidal shape and in the installed state extends upwardly beyond and sideways of the at least one rebound net. In addition, it may be envisaged to brace the ball protection net.
- With both solutions it is preferred if the predefined height is between 20% to 80% of the overall length of each of the posts.
- To play “Futchi” the at least one rebound net preferably has a net height of 1.74 m and a net width of 2.42 m.
- Preferably two rebound nets are provided, which can be played on from opposite sides.
- So that the arrangement is as simple as possible to transport, it is advantageous if the posts are formed from several parts that can be assembled together.
- The fastening means are preferably eyelets.
- It may be envisaged that an underneath side of the at least one rebound net is tensioned via anchoring pegs and is joined to the ground so that also the sides of the at least one rebound net are tensioned. It may furthermore be envisaged that the frame construction surrounds the at least one rebound net and the rebound net is clamped under tension in the frame construction.
- Preferably the frame construction is formed by a tubular system that can be assembled together.
- The rebound net preferably has a mesh width of 45 mm to 120 mm. In addition, it is advantageous if the rebound net is a textile net. In order to enhance the rebound effect the rebound net can have elastic elements.
- The set angle that the rebound net adopts with respect to a plane spanned by the posts is preferably between 20°-30°, in particular 26.5°. This set angle is ideal in order to achieve the best possible compromise between rebound angle and rebound width up to the first impact of the ball on the ground.
- Preferred embodiments of the invention are illustrated hereinafter with the aid of
FIGS. 1 and 2 , in which: -
FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of various aspects of the disclosure; and -
FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of various aspects of the disclosure. -
FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of the rebound net arrangement according to the invention with asupport 1 and reboundnet 2. Therectangular rebound net 2 has a surrounding net edge 3 with recesses 4, 4′ in the corners 5. The rebound net preferably has a net width wN of 2.42 m and a net height hN of 1.74 m. The two recesses 4 remote from the ground are each provided an eyelet 6, to which is fastened a cable 7 for tightening therebound net 2. In addition, two outwardly guyedposts 10 are provided, which have fastening means 11 at a corresponding height hP1 on which the two cables 7 remote from the ground are fastened. Theposts 10 are formed of several parts and can be assembled together. Therebound net 2 is tensioned between the anchoring pegs 9 and the fastening means 11 on theposts 10 mounted vertically on the ground by means of ground contact plates. The fastening of therebound net 2 to the ground takes place above the plane spanning theposts 10. The arrangement of the fastening means 11 on theposts 10 takes place seen from the ground at a height hP1 that is less than the net height hN. The resultant inclination α of therebound net 2 relative to the plane spanned by theposts 10 is preferably between 20° and 30°, in particular 26.5°. - In an advantageous embodiment the
posts 10 are dimensioned so that they significantly project beyond therebound net 2, preferably by 50% to 100% of the height hP1 from the ground contact plate as far as the fastening means 11. At the ends 12 of theposts 10 remote from the ground further fastening means 13, preferably eyelets, are provided for fastening aball protection net 14. Theball protection net 14 is stretched between theposts 10 and is guyed with cables outwardly in the plane spanning theposts 10. Theball protection net 14 is of trapezoidal shape and extends in the installed state beyond therebound net 2 both laterally and upwardly. Theball protection net 14 holds the ball in the area of the playing field and provides reliable protection for spectators. - Preferably the fastening means 11 are arranged on the

FIG. 2 . In contrast to the above embodiment, in addition to the posts 10 a frame construction 15 is provided that completely surrounds the rebound nets 2, 2′ and in which the rebound nets 2, 2′ are clamped. In this case, for reasons of stability it may be envisaged that theposts 10 are joined at ground level to the frame construction 15, e.g. by bars16, 17, which are fastened to the ground portion of the frame construction as well as to posts at ground level, in order to enlarge the ground contact area. In this case only the ball protection net is directly fastened to the posts. The upper parts of the frame construction 15 may be fastened to theposts 10 or, alternatively, may be fastened to each other, either directly via a connecting bolt or by use of an interposed bar, to which the upper portions of the frame construction 15 are connected. - Naturally, it is also possible to use a frame construction 15 only for an embodiment comprising only one
rebound net 2 wherein theposts 10 may be connected to the one frame construction 15 at ground level, e.g. by means of a bar 16. - The rebound net arrangements according to the invention provide for a simple construction of a rebound net for playing “Futchi”, in which the rebound net arrangements can be transported particularly easily and can be used to put up two rebound nets.
