  • FIG. 4 is a sectional view of the multifunctional safety helmet according to the invention.
  • DESCRIPTION
  • Below, more detailed description about the multifunctional safety helmet according to the invention will be given with reference to the attached figures.
  • FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view in which the inner cap is separated from the outer cap of the multifunctional safety helmet according to the invention, FIG. 2 is a perspective view that illustrates the inner cap extracted from FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a sectional view of FIG. 2, and FIG. 4 is a sectional view of the multifunctional safety helmet according to the invention.
  • As illustrated in FIG. 1 and FIG. 4, this invention relates to a multifunctional safety helmet that lowers the temperature of the head by circulating internal air through multiple cooling fans mounted on the inner cap and by exhausting it outward so that sweat can be vaporized and the vaporized heat can be absorbed, and blocks external heat by forming an air curtain on the face by guiding air toward the front and back of the head and toward both ears to exhaust it outward, and increases air circulation by combining a baffle to restrict the creation of whirlpool caused by collisions of air transferred from multiple cooling fans, and can not only control the speed of the cooling fans, but also block electromagnetic waves from the circuit board that controls the cooling fan, and allows to apply the inner cap according to the invention to the outer caps of existing safety helmets.
  • This kind of multifunctional safety helmet mainly comprises of two parts, an outer cap (200) and an inner cap (100) inserted into inside of the outer cap (200).
  • Here, the inner cap (100) has the structure in which a first air passage (110) is formed forward and rearward across the upper surface.
  • In the center of the first air passage (110), a cooling fan (111) can be mounted so that the heat dissipated from the head can be transferred upward to the first air passage (110).
  • Here, at least one or more cooling fans (111) can be installed on the first air passage (110), but in an embodiment of this invention, the suggested number is 2.
  • At this time, the primary baffle (112) will be placed at the boundary of the cooling fan (111) so that the air transferred through each cooling fan (111) mentioned above can be distributed and guided forward and rearward across the first air passage (110).
  • The primary baffle (112) described above allows to exhaust air smoothly toward both sides of the first air passage (110) by limiting the creation of whirlpool caused by the collisions of air transferred from multiple cooling fans (111).
  • In addition, there is an air circulation vent (113) in front of the first air passage (110) to exhaust air to forehead. At this time, the first air passage (110) can have the secondary baffle (114) to circulate air by guiding some air to the air circulation vent (113).
  • Here, the secondary baffle (114) is placed relatively lower than the first air passage (110) so that some air can be exhausted toward the lower part of the front side of the first air passage (110) and some are guided toward the forehead of the head.
  • Therefore, some air guided toward the front of the first air passage (110) can be exhausted toward the forehead through the air circulation vent (113) and can lower the temperature of the head by circulating air in a way that the air exhausted toward the forehead vaporizes sweat from the forehead and the head, and the vaporized heat is absorbed. Moreover, the air exhausted downward the front of the first air passage (110) forms an air curtain on the front of the head of head.
  • Meanwhile, the inner cap (100) can further include multiple secondary air passages (120) opened to the first air passage (110) leftward and rightward across the upper surface, and in an embodiment of this invention, the number of suggested secondary air passages (120) is 2.
  • The secondary air passage (120) described above is opened as a single set in the left and right side of the inner cap, and guides air up to the ears on the head through the air guide plate (121) extended at the end of the left and right side of the inner cap (100) to exhaust it outward.
  • Thus, when two cooling fans (111) start to work, the air from the inside of the inner cap (100) is distributed forward and rearward across the first air passage (110) by means of the primary baffle (112), and some air distributed forward and rearward is distributed toward the left and right side through the secondary air passage (120) to exhaust it outward.
  • Therefore, this helmet has an additional effect that can block the external heat effectively by exhausting sweat in a way of circulating the sweat dissipated from the forehead and the head outward through the air circulation vent (113) and forming an air curtain on the face by distributing air forward and rearward across the head and toward both ears through the first air passage (110) and the secondary air passage (120) to exhaust it outward.
  • Meanwhile, the inner cap (100) can further have a circuit board (130) electrically connected to the cooling fan (111), and the circuit board (130) can have a voltage controller (131) that controls the voltage to control the speed of the cooling fan (111) and a noise filter (132) to block the emission of electromagnetic waves.
  • And, the circuit board (130) can further include a battery cell (133) and a switch (134) electrically connected to control the voltage of the voltage controller (131).
  • In an embodiment according to the invention, a circuit board (130) is mounted on the inner surface of the inner cap (100), but in other examples, it can be mounted on the upper surface of the inner cap.
  • And, it is desirable that the switch (134) is installed at the end of the left and right side of the inner cap (100) so that they can be operated conveniently with hands.
  • This switch (134) can be configured not only to turn On/Off the cooling fan (111), but also to adjust the fan speed of the cooling fan (111) at high/middle/low speed by controlling the voltage of the voltage controller (131).
  • The operation of the multifunctional safety helmet according to the invention shall be described briefly below.
  • First, if two cooling fans (111) start to work at the same time by means of a switch (134), the air from the inside of the inner cap will be transferred upward through the cooling fan (111).
  • Then the air from the inside of the inner cap (100) is, by means of the primary baffle (112), distributed forward and rearward across the inner cap through the first air passage (110) to exhaust it outward.
  • Some air guided toward the front of the first air passage (110) will be guided toward the air circulation vent (113) by the secondary baffle (114) and will be circulated toward outer of the inner surface through the forehead and the crown of the head, and some air will be exhausted downward front of the first air passage, thus toward the front of the head.
  • And some air guided toward the front of the first air passage (110) will be distributed toward the left and right side of the inner cap (100) through the secondary air passage (120) and exhausted toward both ears on the head.
  • And, the air guided toward the back of the first air passage (110) will be exhausted to the back of the head.
  • At this time, some air guided toward the back of the first air passage (110) will be distributed toward the left and right side of the inner cap (100) through the secondary air passage and exhausted toward both ears on the head.
  • Here, because each of the secondary air passages (120) are open to each other as a set at the left and at the right side of the inner cap, the air can be guided upward to the ears on the head through the air guide plate (121) to exhaust it outward.
  • Therefore, it allows to maintain comfortable condition even in summer seasons because it can block external heat by forming an air curtain on the face by circulating the sweat or heat, dissipated from the forehead and the head, through the air circulation vent (113) and by exhausting it outward, and by distributing the air forward and rearward across the head and toward both ears through the first air passage (110) and the secondary air passage (120) to exhaust it outward.
  • In an embodiment of this invention, the number of cooling fans suggested is 2, but in addition to this, it goes without saying that the number of cooling fan can be 1, 3 arranged in serial at the first air passage in a form of serial arrangement, or 4 arrange in parallel at the center of the first air passage.
  • Though the number of the secondary air passages suggested in this embodiment according to the invention is 2, it can be 1, 3, or 4.
  • And, this invention can be implemented to vary the speed of the cooling fans minutely using a dial method in addition to using the switches.
  • And, this invention can be implemented to circulate air inward and outward by differentiating the cooling fans according to user's selection.
  • It should be also noted that the embodiment specified in this specification and the configuration illustrated in the figures are just examples of most desirable embodiments of this invention, and do not represent all the technical thoughts of this invention, so at the time of the application, there can be various equivalents and variable examples that can replace those.
