Abstract
An improved frame structure of a storage basket may include a storage basket that has a rectangular and hollow frame body. A bottom frame support is horizontally formed inside the frame body, and a mesh is attached to the bottom frame support by welding. A side frame vertically extends upwards from the bottom frame support, and has a curly portion to eliminate sharp edges of the side frame. The side frame can also be strengthened by the curly portion. Furthermore, a top portion of the side frame can also be bent outwardly to form a curly portion to achieve an equivalent effect.
Description
- The present invention is related to a storage basket, and more particularly to an improved frame structure of a storage basket.
- Referring to
FIGS. 6 to 8 , aconventional storage basket 30 has abasket 31 and aside frame 32. Thebasket 31 has anedge 311 at the periphery thereof and theside frame 32 is disposed outside theedge 311 and welded with theedge 311. The length of theedge 311 exceeds the boundary of theside frame 32, so it is necessary for a second manufacturing step to trip theedge 311. After trimming, theedge 311 may need another manufacturing step to do a further trimming to make theedge 311 smooth. - According to the above description, some problems of the conventional storage basket can be found: (1) the
storage basket 30 is formed by welding theedge 311 andside frame 32, and then trimming theedge 311, which has to consume a lot of time of the basket manufacturer and increase the cost of the materials. Furthermore, the structural strength of thebasket 31 andside frame 32 is not enough, so theside frame 32 is easy to deform. Therefore, there remains a need for a new and improved frame structure of the storage basket. - To solve the problems stated above, the present invention provides an improved frame structure of a storage basket may include a storage basket that has a rectangular and hollow frame body.
- Comparing with conventional gardening scissors, the present invention is advantageous because (i) the side frame vertically extends upwardly from the bottom frame support of the frame body and the curly portion is disposed on the top portion of the side frame, so the sharp edges of the side frame can be eliminated by the curly portion to reduce the change to injure the user; (ii) the curly portion and the side frame are configured to strengthen the structure of the frame body, so the frame body cannot be easily deformed; and (iii) the mesh can be directly disposed on the bottom frame support of the frame body and then attached thereto by welding. Such an easy manufacturing step can reduce the manufacturing costs.

- In order to further understand the goal, characteristics and effect of the present invention, a number of embodiments along with the drawings are illustrated as following:
- Referring to
FIGS. 1 to 3 , an improved frame structure of a storage basket may include astorage basket 10 that has a rectangular andhollow frame body 11. Abottom frame support 111 is horizontally formed inside theframe body 11, and amesh 12 is attached to thebottom frame support 111 by welding. Aside frame 112 vertically extends upwards from thebottom frame support 111, and has acurly portion 113 to eliminate sharp edges of theside frame 112. Theside frame 112 can also be strengthened by thecurly portion 113. Furthermore, a top portion of theside frame 112 can also be bent outwardly to form a curly portion 113 (seeFIG. 5 ) to achieve an equivalent effect. - Referring to
FIGS. 1 to 4 , thebottom frame support 111 of theframe body 11 is provided for themesh 12 by welding, and theside frame 112 vertically extends upwardly from thebottom frame support 111, while theside frame 112 has thecurly portion 113. Anelongated rod 13 is formed at a bottom portion of thebottom frame support 111, and hasscrew holes 131 at both ends thereof to connect with arack 20. Therack 20 has four supportingbars 21 at four corners and two connectingrods 22 between two supportingbars 21. Each supportingbar 21 has at least one locking hole 211 at the same level of height and ascrew 23 is used to lock the locking hole 211 and thescrew hole 131 of theelongated rod 13, such that thestorage basket 10 can be horizontally disposed on therack 20, and small objects can be placed on themesh 12. It is noted that the small objects are unlikely to fall out because of theside frame 112. - According to the embodiments stated above, the present invention is advantageous because (i) the
side frame 112 vertically extends upwardly from thebottom frame support 111 of the frame body and thecurly portion 113 is disposed on the top portion of the side frame, so the sharp edges of theside frame 112 can be eliminated by thecurly portion 113 to reduce the change to injure the user; (ii) thecurly portion 113 and theside frame 112 are configured to strengthen the structure of theframe body 11, so theframe body 11 cannot be easily deformed; and (iii) themesh 112 can be directly disposed on thebottom frame support 111 of theframe body 11 and then attached thereto by welding. Such an easy manufacturing step can reduce the manufacturing costs. - Having described the invention by the description and illustrations above, it should be understood that these are exemplary of the invention and are not to be considered as limiting. Accordingly, the invention is not to be considered as limited by the foregoing description, but includes any equivalents.
