Abstract
A therapeutic vibration shoe device provides therapeutic vibration to a foot of a person through a shoe worn by the person. The device includes a sole and an upper coupled to the sole wherein the upper and the sole define a shoe configured to be worn on a foot of a person. A vibration unit is coupled to and positioned in the sole such that the vibration unit vibrates the sole. A battery is coupled to the shoe. The battery is electrically coupled to the vibration unit.
Description
- The disclosure relates to shoe devices and more particularly pertains to a new shoe device for providing therapeutic vibration to a foot of a person through a shoe worn by the person.
- An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a sole and an upper coupled to the sole wherein the upper and the sole define a shoe configured to be worn on a foot of a person. A vibration unit is coupled to and positioned in the sole such that the vibration unit vibrates the sole. A battery is coupled to the shoe. The battery is electrically coupled to the vibration unit.
- There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
- The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
- The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

FIG. 1 is a top front side perspective view of a therapeutic vibration shoe device according to an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 2 is a top back side perspective view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 3 is a side view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 4 is a top view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 5 is a back view of an embodiment of the disclosure. - With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new shoe device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by thereference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 5 , the therapeuticvibration shoe device 10 generally comprises a sole 12 and an upper 14 coupled to the sole 12 wherein the upper 14 and the sole 12 define ashoe 16 configured to be worn on a foot of a person. The upper 14 is structured to have anopening 18 configured for receiving the foot therethrough and into theshoe 16. The upper 14 is structured to have aslot 20 extending from theopening 18 such that theslot 20 is configured to facilitate insertion of the foot into theshoe 16 in a conventional manner. Atongue 46 may be coupled to the upper 14 and extend along theslot 20. - A
vibration unit 22 of conventional design to produce vibration is coupled to and positioned in the sole 12 such that thevibration unit 22 vibrates the sole 12. Abattery 24 is coupled to theshoe 16. Thebattery 24 may be positioned in the sole 12. Thebattery 24 is electrically coupled to thevibration unit 22. Aswitch 26 is coupled to theshoe 16. Theswitch 26 is electrically coupled between thebattery 24 and thevibration unit 22 wherein manipulation of theswitch 26 selectively activates and deactivates thevibration unit 22. Theswitch 26 is positioned on ahousing 28 coupled to and extending from anouter surface 30 of the upper 14. Theswitch 26 is positioned on amedial side 32 of theouter surface 30 of the upper 14. - Each of a plurality of
straps 34 is coupled to the upper 14. Thestraps 34 are extendable across theslot 20. Eachstrap 34 is securable to the upper 14 extending across theslot 20 in a conventional manner using a coupler such as hook and loop fastener or the like, wherein eachstrap 34 is configured to inhibit removal of the foot from theshoe 16. Eachstrap 34 is coupled to the upper 14 such that thestrap 34 is fixed to and extends from alateral edge 36 of theslot 20 towards and over amedial edge 38 of theslot 20 to secure thestrap 34 to the upper 14. - A
charging port 40 is coupled to the sole 12. Thecharging port 40 is positioned on a peripheralvertical surface 42 along aheel 44 of the sole 12. Thecharging port 40 is electrically coupled to thebattery 24 wherein thebattery 24 is configured for being charged by an extrinsic power source coupled to thecharging port 40. - In use, the
shoe 16 is positioned on the foot and secured by thestraps 34. When desired for alleviation of pain, treatment of poor circulation, or other maladies, theswitch 26 is manipulated to produce vibration in the sole 12 which is transferred to the foot positioned in theshoe 16. Thebattery 24 is recharged by connection of the extrinsic power source to thecharging port 40 as needed. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
Claims (9)
1. A therapeutic vibration shoe device comprising:
a sole;
an upper coupled to said sole wherein said upper and said sole define a shoe configured to be worn on a foot of a person;
a vibration unit coupled to and positioned in said sole such that said vibration unit vibrates said sole;
a battery coupled to said shoe, said battery being electrically coupled to said vibration unit.
2. The device of claim 1 , further comprising a switch coupled to said shoe, said switch being electrically coupled between said battery and said vibration unit wherein manipulation of said switch selectively activates and deactivates said vibration unit.
3. The device of claim 2 , further comprising said switch being positioned on a housing coupled to and extending from an outer surface of said upper.
4. The device of claim 2 , further comprising said switch being positioned on a medial side of said outer surface of said upper.
5. The device of claim 1 , further comprising:
said upper being structured to have an opening configured for receiving the foot therethrough and into said shoe, said upper further being structured to have a slot extending from said opening such that said slot is configured to facilitate insertion of the foot into the shoe; and
a plurality of straps coupled to said upper, said straps being extendable across said slot, each said strap being securable to said upper extending across said slot wherein each said strap is configured to inhibit removal of the foot from the shoe.
6. The device of claim 5 , further comprising each said strap being coupled to said upper such that said strap is fixed to and extends from a lateral edge of said slot towards and over a medial edge of said slot to secure said strap to said upper.
7. The device of claim 1 , further comprising a charging port coupled to said sole, said charging port being positioned on a heel of said sole, said charging port being electrically coupled to said battery wherein said battery is configured for being charged by an extrinsic power source coupled to said charging port.
8. The device of claim 1 , further comprising said vibration unit being positioned in a middle section of said sole between a heel of said sole and a toe of said sole wherein said vibration unit is configured for positioning adjacent to an arch of the foot of the person when the shoe is worn by the person.
9. A therapeutic vibration shoe device comprising:
a sole;
an upper coupled to said sole wherein said upper and said sole define a shoe configured to be worn on a foot of a person, said upper being structured to have an opening configured for receiving the foot therethrough and into said shoe, said upper further being structured to have a slot extending from said opening such that said slot is configured to facilitate insertion of the foot into the shoe;
a vibration unit coupled to and positioned in said sole such that said vibration unit vibrates said sole;
a battery coupled to said shoe, said battery being electrically coupled to said vibration unit;
a switch coupled to said shoe, said switch being electrically coupled between said battery and said vibration unit wherein manipulation of said switch selectively activates and deactivates said vibration unit, said switch being positioned on a housing coupled to and extending from an outer surface of said upper, said switch being positioned on a medial side of said outer surface of said upper;
a plurality of straps coupled to said upper, said straps being extendable across said slot, each said strap being securable to said upper extending across said slot wherein each said strap is configured to inhibit removal of the foot from the shoe, each said strap being coupled to said upper such that said strap is fixed to and extends from a lateral edge of said slot towards and over a medial edge of said slot to secure said strap to said upper;
a charging port coupled to said sole, said charging port being positioned on a heel of said sole, said charging port being electrically coupled to said battery wherein said battery is configured for being charged by an extrinsic power source coupled to said charging port.
