Abstract

A seat for training legs contains: a frame and a sitting assembly mounted on the frame. A sliding unit is fixed between the frame and the sitting assembly and includes a sliding rack and a sliding block, the sliding rack includes a slidable rail arranged on an upper surface thereof and a fitting tube mounted on two sides of the frame, the sliding block is disposed on a back surface of the sitting assembly and connects with the slidable rail. A vertical moving unit is defined between the frame and a rear end of the sliding rack to drive the rear end of the sliding rack to move obliquely. A foot support is mounted on a front end of the frame to support user's feet. Thereby, the user's feet are placed on the foot support to exert force so that the sitting assembly slides to exercise the user's feet.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a seat for training legs.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • A conventional chair is sat by a user, but it cannot provide exercise function to the user as sitting on the chair. To improve such a problem, a multi-function chair with foot exercise device is developed; however, such a foot exercise device cannot be adjusted according to using requirement.
  • The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a seat for training legs which is operated easily and is adjusted to a desired angle based on using requirements.
  • To obtain the above objectives, a seat for training legs provided by the present invention contain: a frame and a sitting assembly mounted on the frame.
  • A sliding unit is fixed between the frame and the sitting assembly and includes a sliding rack and a sliding block, the sliding rack includes a slidable rail arranged on an upper surface thereof and a fitting tube mounted on two sides of the frame, the sliding block is disposed on a back surface of the sitting assembly and connects with the slidable rail.
  • A vertical moving unit is defined between the frame and a rear end of the sliding rack to drive the rear end of the sliding rack to move obliquely. A foot support is mounted on a front end of the frame to support user's feet.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • With reference to FIGS. 1 to 16, a seat for training legs according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: a frame 10, a sitting assembly 20, a sliding unit 30, a vertical moving unit 40, and a foot support 50.
  • The frame 10 includes two supporting tubes 12 disposed between two sides of a front end and a rear end thereof below two armrests 11 to connect with the sitting assembly 20 and the foot support 50.
  • The sitting assembly 20 includes a collapsible chair back 21, a pneumatic bar 22 mounted on the frame 10 to adjust a tilted angle of the chair back 21, and an orifice 23 defined on an outer side of a front end thereof. The pneumatic bar 22 has a coupling stem 221 fitted with a first end thereof and a control lever 24 joining with a second end thereof to control the pneumatic bar 22 to expend outwardly or retract inwardly. The chair back 21 has two first folding bosses 211 arranged on two middle positions of two sides thereof and two second folding bosses 212 formed on two upper positions of two sides thereof, such that the chair back 21 is collapsible along the two first folding bosses 211 and the two second folding bosses 212 to package and deliver the seat easily.
  • The sliding unit 30 is fixed between the frame 10 and the sitting assembly 20, and the sliding unit 30 includes a sliding rack 31, a sliding block 32 and a brake 33. The sliding rack 31 is secured between a front end and a rear end of the frame 10 and includes a slidable rail 311 arranged on an upper surface thereof and a fitting tube 312 mounted on a front end thereof and fitted with the two supporting tubes 12. The sliding rack 31 has a first end abutting against one of the two supporting tubes 12 adjacent to the rear end of the frame 10 and connecting with the vertical moving unit 40. The sliding block 32 is disposed on a back surface of the sitting assembly 20 and connecting with the slidable rail 311, such that the sitting assembly 20 moves on the sliding rack 31. The sliding rack 31 has two limiting portions 34 mounted on two sides thereof, the sitting assembly 20 also includes two stop columns 35 extending outwardly from the back surface thereof to contact with the two limiting portions 34, thus limiting a movement of the sitting assembly 20.
  • The brake 33 is mounted on the frame 10 to correspond to the orifice 23 and includes a sleeve 331 fixed on the frame 10, a fixing post 332 inserting into the sleeve 331 and extending toward the fixing post 332, and a first resilient element 333 secured in the sleeve 331 and fitting with the fixing post 332. The sleeve 331 has an oblique face 334 defined on an outer rim thereof, and the fixing post 332 has a grip 335 arranged on an outer end thereof, such that the grip 335 abuts against the oblique face 334 by ways of the first resilient element 333. When the grip 335 is pulled, it moves outwardly along the oblique face 334 to drive the fixing post 332 to retract inwardly, and when the grip 335 moves to a vertex 336 of the oblique face 334, the sitting assembly 20 moves. When desiring to stop the movement of the sitting assembly 20, the grip 335 is pulled to move away from the vertex 336, the fixing post 332 is pushed by the first resilient element 333 to extend into the orifice 23, thus stopping the movement of the sitting assembly (as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7).
  • The vertical moving unit 40 is used to drive the sliding unit 30 and the sitting assembly 20 to move, thus adjusting an angle between the sliding unit 30 and the sitting assembly 20. The vertical moving unit 40 includes a cylinder 41 and a controller 42. The cylinder 41 is located below the frame 10 and has a movable shaft 411 extending outwardly from one end thereof and a shifting portion 412 disposed on an end surface of the movable shaft 411, such that when the shifting portion 412 is pressed, the movable shaft 411 is controlled by the shifting portion 412 to move outwardly or inwardly. The controller 42 is connected with the sliding rack 31 by using a connection shank 43 and has an aperture 421 defined therein to insert the movable shaft 411. The controller 42 also has a crank 422 disposed on an upper end thereof, wherein the crank 422 has a protrusion formed on a bottom end thereof to correspond to the aperture 421. The controller 42 further has a coupling portion 423 extending outwardly from the crank 422 to connect with a first end of a driving cable 44, and a second end of the driving cable 44 couples with a controlling portion 45 which is fixed outside the frame 10 to be touched by a user. When the user pulls the controlling portion 45, the driving cable 44 drives the crank 422 to swing, and the protrusion of the crank 422 presses the shifting portion 412 of the movable shaft 411 so that the movable shaft 411 extends outwardly to drive the sliding rack 31 and a rear end of the sitting assembly 20 to lift upwardly, thus adjusting the tilted angle. When desiring to descend the sliding rack 31 and the rear end of the sitting assembly 20, the controlling portion 45 is pulled, and the user presses the movable shaft 411 to retract into the cylinder 41 by using his/her weight.
  • The foot support 50 is expandable and retractable and is mounted on the front end of the frame 10 to support the user's feet. The foot support 50 includes two outer tubes 55 secured between the two supporting tubes 12, two holding tubes 51, a first holder 52, a second holder 53, and a stopper 60. Two sides of a first end of the first holder 52 are rotatably connected with the two holding tubes 51, and a second end of the first holder 52 is rotatably coupled with two fixing bolts 54, such that the first holder 52 and the second holder 53 are rotatably folded 90 degrees, and the first holder 52 and the two holding tubes 51 are rotatably folded 90 degrees. It is to be noted that as folding the first holder 52 and the second holder 53 or the first holder 52 and the two holding tubes 51, a toothed locking component (not shown) is employed to position the two holding tubes 51, the first holder 52, and the second holder 53, and since the toothed locking component is a well-known art, further remarks are omitted. The two holding tubes 51 are inserted into the two outer tubes 55 so that when the foot support 50 is used, the two holding tubes 51 are expended or retracted. One of the two outer tubes 55 has a through hole 551 defined thereon, and each holding tube 51 has plural positioning openings 511 equidistantly arranged thereon to match with the stopper 60 to position the foot support 50.
  • The stopper 60 is fixed on one of the two sides of the frame 10 and includes a body 61 disposed on the frame 10, an affixing pillar 62 inserted through the body 61 and extending to one of the two outer tubes 55 which has the through hole 551, and a second resilient element 63. The body 61 has a slope portion 611 defined on an outer edge thereof, and the affixing pillar 62 has a handle 621 extending outwardly from one end thereof, such that the handle 621 is pushed by the second resilient element 63 to abut against the slope portion 611. When desiring to extend the foot support 50 outwardly, the handle 621 is pulled by the user to move outwardly along the slope portion 611, and the affixing pillar 62 is driven by the handle 621 to move away from one of the plural positioning openings 511 and to position on an apex 612 of an outer edge of the slope portion 611, such that the two holding tubes 51 of the foot support 50 are extended to a desired length, thereafter the handle 621 is pulled to move away from the apex 612, and the affixing pillar 62 is pushed by the second resilient element 63 to insert into the through hole 551 and one of the plural positioning openings 511, thus fixing the foot support 50 (as illustrated in FIGS. 8 and 9).
  • Thereby, the user's feet are placed on the foot support 50 to exert force so that the sitting assembly 20 slides to exercise the user's feet, wherein the sitting assembly 20 slides horizontally or the sitting assembly 20 is adjusted by the vertical moving unit 40 to slide obliquely, thus increasing exercise exertion. Preferably, the vertical moving unit 40 lifts upwardly to push the user to stand up easily. In addition, the foot support 50 is movably adjusted based on using heights, for example, as shown in FIGS. 13 to 15, the two holding tubes 51 are pulled outwardly, and the first holder 52 is folded to a horizontal angle, then the second holder 53 is folded to 90 degrees. As desiring to collapse the foot support 50, the second holder 53 is rotatably folded onto the first holder 52, and the two holding tubes 53 are retracted into the two outer tubes 55, thus collapsing the foot support 50 easily.
  • While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been set forth for the purpose of disclosure, modifications of the disclosed embodiments of the invention as well as other embodiments thereof may occur to those skilled in the art. Accordingly, the appended claims are intended to cover all embodiments which do not depart from the spirit and scope of the invention.

Claims (6)

What is claimed is:
1. A seat for training legs comprising:
a frame and a sitting assembly mounted on the frame; characterized in that:
a sliding unit is fixed between the frame and the sitting assembly, and the sliding unit includes a sliding rack and a sliding block, the sliding rack includes a slidable rail arranged on an upper surface thereof and a fitting tube mounted on two sides of the frame, the sliding block is disposed on a back surface of the sitting assembly and connects with the slidable rail;
a vertical moving unit is defined between the frame and a rear end of the sliding rack to drive the rear end of the sliding rack to move obliquely;
a foot support is mounted on a front end of the frame to support user's feet.
2. The seat for training the legs as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sliding rack has two limiting portions mounted on two sides thereof, and the sitting assembly also includes two stop columns extending outwardly from the back surface thereof to contact with the two limiting portions, thus limiting a movement of the sitting assembly.
3. The seat for training the legs as claimed in claim 1, wherein the vertical moving unit includes a cylinder and a controller, the cylinder is located below the frame and has a movable shaft extending outwardly from one end thereof and a shifting portion disposed on an end surface of the movable shaft, such that when the shifting portion is pressed, the movable shaft is controlled by the shifting portion to move outwardly or inwardly; the controller is connected with the sliding rack by using a connection shank and has an aperture defined therein to insert the movable shaft, and the controller also has a crank disposed on an upper end thereof, wherein the crank has a protrusion formed on a bottom end thereof to correspond to the aperture; the controller further has a coupling portion extending outwardly from the crank to connect with a first end of a driving cable, and a second end of the driving cable couples with a controlling portion which is fixed outside the frame to be touched by a user.

The seat for training the legs as claimed in claim 1, wherein the foot support is expandable and retractable and includes two outer tubes secured between the two supporting tubes, two holding tubes, a first holder, and a second holder; two sides of a first end of the first holder are rotatably connected with the two holding tubes, and a second end of the first holder is rotatably coupled with two fixing bolts, such that the first holder and the second holder are rotatably folded 90 degrees, and the first holder and the two holding tubes are rotatably folded 90 degrees, the two holding tubes are inserted into the two outer tubes so that when the foot support is used, the two holding tubes are expended or retracted.

The seat for training the legs as claimed in claim 4, wherein when the foot support is movably adjusted, the stopper is used to position the foot support; wherein the stopper is fixed on one of the two sides of the frame and includes a body disposed on the frame, an affixing pillar inserted through the body and extending to one of the two outer tubes which has the through hole, and a second element; the body has a slope portion defined on an outer edge thereof, and the affixing pillar has a handle extending outwardly from one end thereof, such that the handle is pushed by the second resilient element to abut against the slope portion; one of the two outer tubes has a through hole defined thereon, and each holding tube has plural positioning openings equidistantly arranged thereon to match with the stopper to position the foot support.

The seat for training the legs as claimed in claim 1, wherein the brake is mounted on the frame to correspond to the orifice and includes a sleeve fixed on the frame, a fixing post inserting into the sleeve and extending toward the fixing post, and a first resilient element secured in the sleeve and fitting with the fixing post; the sleeve has an oblique face defined on an outer rim thereof, and the fixing post has a grip arranged on an outer end thereof, such that the grip abuts against the oblique face by ways of the first resilient element; when the grip is pulled, it moves outwardly along the oblique face to drive the fixing post to retract inwardly, and when the grip moves to a vertex of the oblique face, the sitting assembly moves; when desiring to stop the movement of the sitting assembly, the grip is pulled to move away from the vertex, the fixing post is pushed by the first resilient element to extend into the orifice, thus stopping the movement of the sitting assembly.
