catheter 35 is used to support the liquid-storage member 37 and is simultaneously used for supporting the liquid-guidingmember 212, and further serves as a path for aerosol entering into the housing 1 which is produced from the e-liquid being vaporized by the atomizer 2. In the embodiment, thecatheter 35 is a hollow pipe with through hole and may be made of plastic or fiber materials such as fiberglass, and includes a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion infixes with theinfixing column 331 of themouthpiece cover 33, and the bottom portion abuts with the liquid-isolatingmember 31 and is sheathed and fixed on theinfixing column 312 of the liquid-isolatingmember 31, that is theinfixing column 312 of the liquid-isolatingmember 31 is inserted into and fixed in thecatheter 35. The through hole of thecatheter 35 communicates with theair vent 332 of themouthpiece cover 33 and theair vent 313 of the liquid-isolatingmember 31 respectively. Thecatheter 35 defines aslot 351 through the wall and operable to support and fix the liquid-guidingmember 212. The liquid-guidingmember 212 across thecatheter 35 and two ends of the liquid-guidingmember 212 respectively pass through theslot 351 and abut with the liquid-storage member 37 to absorb e-liquid for theheating wire 211 atomizing. - The liquid-
storage member 37 is operable to absorb and store e-liquid to facilitate the atomizer 2 vaporizing the e-liquid subsequently, and may be made of materials capable of absorbing and storing e-liquid such as cotton material. The liquid-storage member 37 is hollow cylindrical structure, and is sheathed around an outside of thecatheter 35 and tensioningly fixed with an outer wall of thecatheter 35 to be supported. An inner sidewall of the liquid-storage member 37 also abuts with the liquid-guidingmember 212. E-liquid seeps from the liquid-storage member 37 into the liquid-guidingmember 212 and is vaporized into aerosol by theheating wire 211 after being absorbed. - Because the housing 1 of the electronic cigarette is made of materials with required hardness, in order to make an inhalation rod 90 of the electronic cigarette having a good softness when using and having better feeling and taste when holding and smoking, the housing 1 is sheathed with at least one layer of the
soft paste layer 7 at the outside thereof. In the embodiment, the number of thesoft paste layer 7 is one. The soft paste layer is made of any one of the following materials such as paper, cotton or soft plastic. The soft plastic is made of any one of the following materials such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), ethylene-vinylacetate copolymer (EVA) or polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). - When smoking, ambient air enters from the air vent at the bottom of the housing 1, and passes through the
air vent 313 of the liquid-isolatingmember 31, the through hole of thecatheter 35 and theair vent 332 of themouthpiece cover 33, then flows out of the housing 1, forming an internal air path of the electronic cigarette. The air flows smoothly both in the internal and outside of the electronic cigarette. Certainly, ambient air may also enter into the housing 1 from the air vent on themouthpiece cover 33 directly, and then reaches in thecatheter 35. - Embodiments of the present invention is shown and described in the above-mentioned. Various improvement and modifications can be made to the embodiments by those skilled in the art without departing from the true spirit and scope of the disclosure. The scope of the present invention is defined by the appended claims and equivalents thereof.
