Abstract

I have a device that prevents structure gutters from becoming clogged from debris, foreign matter, and any other object that can enter a gutter system and impede water flow.

Description

  • Gutter Garter can be made in rolls of any length. The thickness of Gutter Garter can vary depending on use and the width will be determined by the gutter it is being applied to. Gutter Garter can be manufactured in a variety of widths.
  • The only constant will be the material it will be made from.
  • Gutter Garter is a very inexpensive and effective method to protect gutters from foreign objects entering the gutter and clogging or inhibiting free flow of water, ice damming, fascia board damage and gutter damage
  • The Gutter Garter material can be easily cut to length using a utility knife Gutter Garter is very porous yet extremely durable
  • FIG. 1: A is the roof, B is the structure, C is the gutter, D is Gutter Garter in place
  • FIG. 2: Close up view A is the roof, B is the structure, C is the gutter, D is Gutter Garter in place
  • FIG. 3: Side view of Gutter Garter A is gutter, B is Gutter Garter
  • FIG. 4: Top view A is gutter, B is Gutter Garter
  • FIG. 5: Top view A is gutter, B is Gutter Garter
  • FIG. 6: Top view gutter end A is gutter, B is Gutter Garter
  • FIG. 7: Side view A is gutter, B is Gutter Garter
  • FIG. 8: Top view A is gutter, B is Gutter Garter
  • FIG. 9: Top view A is gutter, B is Gutter Garter

Claims (8)

1. Gutter Garter provides effective protection for clear flow of water through gutter systems very inexpensively.
2. Gutter Garter is the easiest gutter protection system to install and maintain.
3. Gutter Garter needs no other devices to install and creates no adverse conditions to occur on the roofing system, gutters or fascia board
4. Gutter Garter is easily removed and reinstalled if it should become necessary
5. Gutter Garter can be produced in a variety of colors, widths, thicknesses and lengths to fit the end users unique needs.
6. Gutter Garter can be modified with nothing more than a utility knife.
7. Gutter Garter stays securely fixed in the gutter by using the tension created when the product is cupped and placed in the gutter. The end of the gutter and the fascia board keep the Gutter Garter locked in place. Gutter Garter is so porous that strong winds and updrafts will not lift it out of place.
8. If Gutter Garter is crushed down due to heavy snow it will pop up once the snow is melted and will not inhibit snow melt in any way.
