Abstract

A collection of hair accessory organizers for holding a multitude of hair accessory of various types and sizes. The basic construction of these organizers consists of metal wire which can be covered in a variety of materials such as fabric, plastic or other similar type of material in a variety of colors. The wire is bent into different unique objects to reflect items that young girls would like, for example, a princess carriage, doll stroller, rocking bee, fairy scooter, circus tent, clown mobile, roller skate, swing set, baby buggy, bicycle, pink candy car, princess canopy bed, rocking chair, etc. The organizers may be movable or stationary and have uniquely shaped parts which serve as holders for certain hair accessories.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to hair accessories such as clips, barrettes, pony tail holders, and more specifically, to a collection of organizers for storing and organizing hair accessories of various types and sizes.
  • Hair accessories when stored together continuously inside limited spaced items become tangled, making them unusable. The present invention solves this problem by using specially shaped holders attached to uniquely shaped, lightweight organizers. The holders prevent tangling, locking and clustering that is common among girls' hair ball hair accessories. The structure of the present invention holds and prevents other type of young girls' hair accessories from becoming locked within the tangle when they are stored along with the girls' hair ball hair accessories. It is very frustrating and time consuming to un-tangle young girls' hair accessories and presently the only solution is to re-purchase new ones before anticipated. The present invention solves this problem by saving users money elongating the life of the young girls' hair accessories. Furthermore, it saves users time by making it easy to see all the accessories at once instead of having to dig through containers filled with a mixture of hair accessories searching for the perfect one.
  • The hair accessory organizers of the present invention provide for storage and organization of hair accessories of various types and sizes, and can be made to resemble any type of item that may be of interest to a little girl, while also being capable of mobility. The hair accessory organizer may be placed on any surface for storage. The present hair accessory holder is lightweight and easy to transport from one place to another. The hair accessory organizer of the present invention allows for accessories of different types and sizes to be organized together in one unit without being tangled up by keeping each accessory separate.
  • Each accessory can be attached to the organizer either along the frame of the holder or placed on a uniquely shaped holder to keep each accessory separate.
  • Prior art hair accessory organizers are known to consist of familiar, expected and obvious configurations.
  • Known prior art includes U.S. Pat. No. 7,028,853; U.S. Pat. No. 7,828,254; US Design Pat. No. D622,448; U.S. Design Pat. No. D394,918; U.S. Design Pat. No. D427, 378; U.S. Design Pat. No. D575, 005; U.S. Design Pat. No. D347, 939.
  • None of the prior art devices provide a hair accessory organizer that is capable of holding and organizing a variety of little girl hair accessories on a device that is made to resemble a young girls favorite items, while also having uniquely shaped holders to organize girls' hair ball hair accessories to prevent them from getting tangled with each other or other hair accessories, and having the quality of being a moveable hair accessory organizer.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The purpose of this invention is to store, organize, and preserve the life of hair accessories by eliminating tangling, locking and clustering together various hair accessories. While most other hair accessory organizers are simple designs, this invention is a collection of hair accessory organizers in unique artistic shapes and appealing designs that would be of interest to young girls.
  • The hair accessory organizer of the present invention is designed to accept and hold any type and size of hair accessory available. Elastic hair bands, barrettes, hair clips, ponytail holders, bows, hair claws and the like can be stored and organized onto the frame of the present invention without the need for separate specially made compartments to store the different hair accessories. Further the hair accessory organizer of the present invention is designed to be movable or stationary and made to resemble a young girl's favorite items.
  • The present invention may be placed on any flat surface for storage and may be moveable by the user but will not roll off a surface without a user applying force.
  • The frame of the present invention is made of a lightweight, bendable metal such as aluminum, or other type of metal alloy. The frame can be formed into a variety of shapes to resemble items that would be of interest to a young girl, for example, a princess carriage, rocking horse, rocking chair, Ferris wheel, swing set, merry go round, movable princess mirror, castle, scooter, circus tent, clown mobile, tea cup, baby buggy, canopy bed, stroller, rocking bumble bee, ballerina, fairy stand, fashion lamp (with designer shoes), cupcake, secret garden, butterfly house, princess tea pot, light house, UGG® boot, princess swing inside a gazebo, milkshake glass, princess guardian heart, butterfly purse, rainbow poodle, butterfly hot air balloon, candle, princess wedding cake, glam guitar, sunflower ring, mermaid fish bowl, flower basket, tea cup, peacock, tiara, barrette tree, barrette picture frame, mickey mouse umbrella, barrette crystal ball, rainbow bridge, diva glasses, glam pump shoe, Easter egg bunny, rainbow drum, baby's play pen, gumball machine and angel mist perfume bottle. The frame may be covered in plastic, fabric or other soft material in a variety of colors. Each organizer has a variety of distinct decorative elements which coordinates with the particular theme of the frame making it recognizable and esthetically pleasing to a young girl, for example, jeweled wheels, flowers, streamers on a bicycle, pictures of fairies, etc. The unique hair accessory holders attached to the frame may be a variety of shapes such as a bow-tie shape, butterfly, star, flower, or dragon fly shaped to hold an individual hair ball hair accessories. Each unique holder is two to three inches below or above another holder so that each hair ball hair accessory will not touch another one, in this way avoiding any possibility of entanglement.
  • All the aforementioned hair accessory organizer designs will have similar parts for the attachment and/or storage of hair accessories such as elastic hair bands, hair ball hair accessories, barrettes, hair clips, ponytail holders, bows, hair claws and others. They will all be primarily made of the same type of wire, having unique holders and the rotatable wheels on a number of the designs will also be similar.
  • These together with of her objects of the pre sent invention, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the invention, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure. For a better understanding of the invention, it s operating advantages and the specific objects attained by its uses, reference should be had to the accompanying drawings and descriptive matter in which there are illustrated preferred embodiments of the invention.

  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIG. 1, there is shown a side view of a first embodiment of a hair accessory organizer 10 of the present invention resembling a baby buggy. The organizer 10 is made from a bendable lightweight metal wire frame 12 that may be covered in any type of soft material, fabric or plastic in a variety of colors. The frame 12 allows for various types and sizes of hair accessories 18 such as elastic hair bands, barrettes, hair clips, ponytail holders, bows, hair claws and others to be attached all along the frame 12.
    The frame 12 can be molded and bent into a variety of shapes to resemble items that would interest young girls. The frame 12 contains a multitude of uniquely shaped holders 14 which are shaped to receive and hold hair ball hair accessories. The holders 14 are placed two to three inches apart all along the frame so that each hair ball hair accessory will not touch the next and thereby prevent entanglement. The holders 14 may be a variety of shapes such as a bow-tie shape, butterfly, star, flower, or dragon fly shaped. The frame 12 has a moveable or rotatable element 16. In FIG. 2 there is shown an interior view of FIG. 1 the hair accessory organizer 200 having a storage portion 213 for accessories located within the frame 212 allowing a user to store other accessories or object s within the organizer 200. The holders 214 are shown along the handles of the baby buggy design and all around the perimeter of the frame 212 with different hair accessories attached 218.
    In FIG. 3 there is shown a perspective view of an alternate embodiment of the organizer 300 of the present invention resembling a girl's bicycle with a user 315 demonstrating attachment of a hair ball hair accessory being fastened onto a holder 314. The organizer 300 is portable with a multitude of holders 314 and h air accessories 318 located all along the frame 312 of the organizer 300.
  • Shown in FIG. 4, is a side view of an alternate embodiment of the organizer 400 of the present invention resembling a girl's roller skate . The frame 412 having a multitude of holders 414 and hair accessories 418 attached along the frame 412. The frame 412 has four rotatable elements 416 attached along the lower portion of the frame 412.
  • Shown in FIG. 5 is a perspective view of an alternate embodiment of the organizer 500 of the present invention resembling a doll stroller. The frame 512 having a multitude of holders 514 and hair accessories 518 attached along the frame 512. The frame 512 has four rotatable elements 516 attached along the sides of the frame 512.
  • Shown in FIG. 6 is a perspective view of an alternate embodiment of the organizer 600 of the present invention resembling a girl's scooter. The frame 612 having a multitude of holders 614 and hair accessories 618 attached along the frame 612. The frame 612 has three rotatable elements 616 attached along the front and sides of the frame 612.
  • Shown in Fl G. 7 is a top view of a n alternate embodiment of the organizer 700 of the present invention resembling a princess carriage. Claims (4)

1. A hair accessory organizer comprising:
a lightweight, bendable frame being capable of receiving a multitude of hair accessories;
a plurality of uniquely shaped holders attached along said frame and being capable of receiving and holding hair ball hair accessories; and
at least one movable element being attached to said frame.
2. The organizer according to claim 1, wherein said holders are at least two inches apart.
3. The organizer of claim 1, wherein said frame is capable of being formed into a variety of shapes to resemble items that would be of interest to a young girl.
4. The organizer of claim 1, wherein said frame being covered by a multitude of fabrics or plastic in a plurality of colors.
