Abstract

Refrigerator parts, namely non-metal box for storing unwanted perishables that would cause odor, attract vermin, spoil and smell if not refrigerated, for composting or to give away to composters or farmers on garbage day. My invention solves the problem of vermin such as rats, roaches, flies and bacteria such as salmonella from getting into the garbage when perishables are tossed into the trash. My box will store unwanted perishables will be stored in the refrigerator.

Description

    BACKGROUND
  • Refrigerator parts, namely non-metal box for storing unwanted perishables that would cause odor, attract vermin, spoil and smell if not refrigerated, for composting or to give away to composters or farmers on garbage day.
  • SUMMARY
  • The primary purpose of the Box is to help save the home environment from vermin, bacteria and odor from unwanted perishables.
  • The secondary purpose is to help save our neighborhood, community and our complete external environment from vermin, bacteria and odor from unwanted perishables.
  • Thirdly, it provides compost for our gardens and farms, hence providing a byproduct for home gardens, community gardens and farms.
  • Compost can be used locally, donated or sold at the discretion of the owner.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION
  • FIG. 1 is the box cover for FIG. 3, the bigger box, which should fit exactly and precisely on top of the opening of FIG. 3, the bigger box.
  • FIG. 2 is a smaller box which will contain a garbage bag for perishables which will then be inserted into the larger box which is FIG. 3.
  • FIG. 3 is the larger box which will contain FIG. 2, which is the smaller box and has a box slot at the front and a glass panel at the right side.
  • FIG. 4 is the assembled box with all the parts namely FIG. 1, which is the box cover, FIG. 2, which is the smaller box, FIG. 3, which is the larger box, fitted together.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • FIG. 4 is a rectangular shaped box that is designed to store perishables instead of putting them in with the regular trash. This is a refrigerator attachment which comprises a smaller box on the inside, FIG. 2 which will have a garbage bag inserted for depositing unwanted perishables through a box slot, at the front of the box, and a glass panel for monitoring the contents of the non-metal box at the right side, and will be covered with a rectangular box cover FIG. 1, and strapped into one of the refrigerator shelves with box straps and buckled and kept mobile. The garbage bag inside the smaller box, FIG. 2. should be changed and replaced with a new garbage bag on the day the old bag is removed, and the contents of the old garbage bag should be used for composting.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING
  • FIGS. 3&4 have a box slot at the front and a glass panel at the right side. The glass panel at the right side of FIGS. 3&4 are used to monitor the amount of perishables contained in FIG. 2. The box slot on FIGS. 3&4 serves as a garbage shoot through which perishables are deposited into FIG. 2. FIG. 1 has box straps and buckles which are used for fastening and securing the box in the refrigerator.
      • 1. I claim a non-metal box as a refrigerator attachment which comprises a smaller box on the inside, which will have a garbage bag inserted for depositing unwanted perishables through a Box Slot, at the front of the non-metal box, and a Glass Panel for monitoring The contents of the non-metal box at the right side, and will be covered with a rectangular Box Cover and strapped into the refrigerator with Box Straps.
