Abstract
A fitness equipment is provided. The fitness equipment is configured to make the body safe in doing hanging-upside-down exercises. The fitness equipment provides a structure fixedly supporting the shanks and thenars at a proper height to ensure the body band downward in a upside-down pose. Then the user is able to exercises different poses between the head and the legs. Thereby, the user is able to get on and off the fitness equipment, and steady the body when the user wants to change pose between sitting and hanging-upside-down poses by using hands and legs with kinds of auxiliary devices of the fitness equipment. The fitness equipment is configured to prevent the user from falling down therefrom, and ensure safety of exercise.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a fitness equipment. More particularly, the present invention relates to a fitness equipment for being used in hanging-upside-down poses of exercises to make the user safely get on and off the fitness equipment and then to ensure safety of the user.
- 2. Descriptions of the Related Art
- It is firmly believed that proper exercises are able to adjust the body mechanisms and enhance the body health. However, due to limited space in modern living and tight living tempo, most of people cannot do exercise. For a long time, kinds of chronic diseases and civilization diseases come with the tide of fashion.
- Therefore, kinds of auxiliary exercise equipments are developed. These fitness equipments are partly designed for fitting limited space, and partly designed for doing unusual exercise.
- As we know, human body usually stays as normal pose of head-above and foot-down, and is not easy to proceed a upside-down pose. However, according to medical explanations, maintaining a single pose for a long time is easy to make the pressures inside of the body concentrate together and press the bones and internal organs improperly and then result in unhealthful body. Therefore, under some circumstances, properly make the body in a upside-down pose is believed to release pressure of body and keep the body healthy. Only the upside-down pose is not easy to proceed and some auxiliary equipments are needed.
- A conventional structure as described in the U.S. Pat. No. 5,125,884 provides a auxiliary fitness equipment for doing exercises. The fitness equipment is able to fix the body and adjust the angle of body in doing proper exercises. However the fitness equipment restrains the body in a limited space, and the user have no additional space for different exercises, such as the upside-down exercises, and the applications of the fitness equipment is limited.
- U.S. Pat. No. 5,190,513 provides another auxiliary equipment to fix the body for doing exercises. However the fitness equipment is also limited in space and cannot be applied in doing the aforementioned upside-down exercise.
- Moreover, U.S. Pat. No. 5,203,755 provides a fitness equipment for hanging-upside-down exercise, and the user is able to take a face-down pose in exercise. The protection spacers 30, 32, 34, 36 of the fitness equipment are configured to support the pelvis of the user. The user bands the knees to hook on the protection spacers 38 and 40 to steady the lower body. Therefore the user can do different upside-down exercises. However, the conventional patent is configured to be applied in face-down exercises, and is not configured to be applied in face-up exercises. When the user takes a face-down pose, by the limitation of joints, the user can only fixedly place the shanks on the equipment of the conventional patent and allows the knees to move freely in doing upside-down exercises. Therefore, when the user wants to lay downward from the equipment of the convention patent or to get back to sitting pose from the upside-down pose, the user can only use his or her muscle strength of the waist. The situation is easy to result in accident and cause exercise injure.
- Thus it can be seen that the conventional patents have disadvantages to be improved.
- The inventor considers improvement in view of the aforementioned drawbacks of the conventional fitness equipments, and develops the present invention of fitness equipment after long term development and practice, especially focusing on safety issue.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a fitness equipment to assist the user in being hanging-upside-down and exercising body.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide a fitness equipment to make the user safely get on and off the fitness equipment to protect the user.
- Still another objective of the present invention is to provide a fitness equipment to adjust space for upside-down exercise to proceed more exercises.
- A fitness equipment being able to achieve the aforementioned objectives is designed to make the body safely proceed hanging-upside-down exercise. The fitness equipment is configured to support the shanks and the thenars and fix them at a proper height to make the body band downward and in the upside-down pose. Therefore the user is able to exercises different poses between the head and the legs.
- The fitness equipment comprises devices as follows. The fitness equipment comprises a base, being configured to support devices as follows. The fitness equipment comprises a framework, being set on the base and being able to adjust the height to ensure a height space for body exercise. The fitness equipment comprises a leg spacer set, being set above the framework for placing and supporting user's shanks to do upside-down exercises. The fitness equipment comprises a thenar support set, being set behind the leg spacer set for the thenars to hang on the thenar support set to steady the body. The fitness equipment comprises at least one standing pole, being set on the framework for the user to stand on the standing pole and then touch the leg spacer set when the user wants to get on and off the fitness equipment. The fitness equipment comprises a handle, being set on the top of the thenar support set, when the user sits on the leg spacer set; the user is able to hold the handle by hands to steady the body. The fitness equipment still comprises two pulling rings, being set by two sides of the leg spacer set to make the user able to hold the pulling rings and steady the body when the user changes pose between sitting and hanging-upside-down poses. Thereby, the user is able to get on and off the fitness equipment, and steady the body when the user wants to change pose between sitting and hanging-upside-down poses. The fitness equipment is configured to prevent the user from falling down therefrom, and ensure safety of exercise.

FIGS. 1 and 2 illustrate embodiments of a fitness equipment of the present invention mainly comprising: abase 1, aframework 2, a leg spacer set 3, a thenar support set 4, at least one standingpole 5, ahandle 6, and twopulling rings 7. - The
base 1 is set on the floor to support devices as follows. Theframework 2 is set on the base and is able to adjust the height to ensure a height space for body exercise. Theleg spacer set 3 is set above the framework for placing and supporting user's shanks to do upside-down exercises. The thenar support set is set behind the leg spacer set for the thenars to hang on the thenar support set 4 to steady the body. - The
standing pole 5 is set on theframework 2 for the user to stand on thestanding pole 5 and then touch the leg spacer set 3 when the user wants to get on and off the fitness equipment. Thestanding pole 5 is set with ajacket 51 on a surface thereof to protect the user when the user stands thereon and then improve safety of exercise. Thehandle 6 is set on the top of the thenar support set 4, and when the user sits on the leg spacer set 3, the user is able to hold thehandle 6 by hands to steady the body. The two pullingrings 7 are set by two sides of the leg spacer set 3 to make the user able to hold the pullingrings 7 and steady the body when the user changes pose between sitting and hanging-upside-down poses. - The
framework 2 is set with anadjustment pole 21 inside, the surface of theadjustment pole 21 is set with a plurality of position holes 22 with different distance therebetween, theframework 2 is set with aplug 23 outside, theadjustment pole 21 is configured to extrude to a proper length, and theplug 23 is configured to fixedly insert into theposition hole 22. Therefore theframework 2 is able to adjust the height from the ground to the leg spacer set 3 to fit different users. - A
screw pole 8 is set between theframework 2 and the leg spacer set 3, thescrew pole 8 is configured to rotate to drive the leg spacer set 3. Thescrew pole 8 is configured to change the angle of the leg spacer set 3 by taking the end of theadjustment pole 21 as an axis. After thescrew pole 8 is adjusted, ascrew 81 is screwed into thescrew pole 8 to fix it. - The thenar support set 4 is fixed on a
branch 9, and thebranch 9 is configured to define the corresponding positions of the leg spacer set 3 and the thenar support set 4. Thebranch 9 is set with anadjustment pole 91 inside, and the surface of theadjustment pole 91 is set with a plurality of position holes 92. Thebranch 9 is set with aplug 93 outside, and theplug 93 is configured to fixedly insert into the position holes 92. - The methods of adjusting the heights and angles among the aforementioned devices are disclosed by the conventional arts, and the details are omitted hereinafter.
- The
aforementioned standing pole 5 is simply a pole and designed for the user getting on and off the leg spacer set 3. Therefore, the standingpoles 5 are configured to adjust a height level of eachstanding pole 5 according to the step distance of the user to make the user easily stand thereon. The standingpoles 5 are also available in directly soldering on theframework 2 or being externally mounted according to the demands of users. - The
handle 6 is able to be direct formed on thebranch 9 or to cover thebranch 9 as a sleeve. Thehandle 6 is set with marks or has a rough surface to enhance the holding friction. - The pulling
rings 7 are set with an insertingpole 71 thereon, and correspondingly the two sides of the leg spacer set 3 are set with two insertingholes 31. The insertingpole 71 is configured to be fixedly inserted into the insertingholes 31 to easily install and remove the pullingrings 7 when the devices, such as the leg spacer set 3, have to be maintained or replaced. - Therefore, as shown in
FIGS. 3 to 7 , when the fitness equipment is in use theuser 10 first stand on thestanding pole 5 and then sits on the leg spacer set 3. When theuser 10 sits on the leg spacer set 3, theuser 10 is able to hold thehandle 6 to steady the body or lay the body backward by holding thehandle 6. When theuser 10 continuously lays the body backward, theuser 10 holds the pullingrings 7 by two hands to steady the body and ensure safety. Then theuser 10 is able to do different hanging-upside-down exercises and enhance health. On the contrary, when theuser 10 finishes, theuser 10 first holds the pullingrings 7 to pull up his or her body, and then hold thehandle 6 tightly to keep the body steady when the body moves to the leg spacer set 3. Finally theuser 10 is able to step down from the fitness equipment. - The aforementioned descriptions are solely for explaining the embodiments of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. Any equivalent practice of modification within the spirit of the present invention should be treated as being within the scope of patent of the present invention.
Claims (8)
1. A fitness equipment, comprising:
a base, being configured to set on the floor to support devices as follows;
a framework, being set on the base to ensure a height space for body exercise;
a leg spacer set, being set above the framework for placing shanks;
a thenar support set, being set behind the leg spacer set for the thenars to hang on the thenar support set to steady the body;
at least one standing pole, being set on the framework for an user to stand on the standing pole and then touch the leg spacer set;
a handle, being set on the top of the thenar support set, when the user sits on the leg spacer set, the user is able to hold the handle by hands to steady the body;
two pulling rings, being set by two sides of the leg spacer set to make the user able to hold the pulling rings and steady the body when the user changes pose between sitting and hanging-upside-down poses.
2. The fitness equipment as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the standing pole is configured to adjust a height level of each standing pole according to the step distance of the user to make the user easily stand thereon.
3. The fitness equipment as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the standing pole is set with a jacket on a surface thereof to protect the user when the user stands thereon.
4. The fitness equipment as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the handle is set with marks to enhance the holding friction.
5. The fitness equipment as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the pulling rings are set with an inserting pole thereon, and correspondingly the two sides of the leg spacer set are set with two inserting holes, and the inserting pole is configured to be fixedly inserted into the inserting holes to easily install and remove the pulling rings.
6. The fitness equipment as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the framework is set with an adjustment pole inside, the adjustment pole is configured to extrude to a proper length, and the surface of the adjustment pole is set with a position hole, the framework is set with a plug outside, and the plug is configured to fixedly insert into the position hole.
7. The fitness equipment as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a screw pole is set between the framework and the leg spacer set, the screw pole is configured to rotate and adjust the length, and to change the angle of the leg spacer set by taking the framework as an axis.
8. The fitness equipment as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the thenar support set is fixed on a branch, and the branch is set with an adjustment pole inside, the adjustment pole is configured to extrude to a proper length, and the surface of the adjustment pole is set with a position hole, the branch is set with a plug outside, and the plug is configured to fixedly insert into the position hole.
