Abstract
The present invention relates to a headwear with a receiving part for a portable audio device, and more particularly, to a headwear with a receiving part for portable audio devices which is capable of receiving a portable audio device and an earphone to facilitate listening to music.
The headwear with receiving part for portable audio device according to the present invention includes a crown part which is a body of the headwear; a visor part attached to lower front part of the crown part; and a size adjustment part attached to a lower rear part of the crown part, wherein a portable audio device receiving part for receiving a portable audio device is provided at a side surface of the crown part and an earphone holder for holding an earphone cord of the portable audio device is placed at an inside of the size adjustment part.
Description
- 1. Field of Invention
- The present invention relates to a headwear with a receiving part for a portable audio device, and more particularly, to a headwear with a receiving part for a portable audio device which is capable of receiving a portable audio device and an earphone to facilitate listening to music.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- In recent, many people purchase portable audio devices such as MP3 players to listen to various sound outputs including music. Particularly, the listening to musing through the MP3 players has been already popularized and, according to this trend, portable audio devices having various shapes, designs and functions are manufactured to satisfy customers.
- However, the users carrying the MP3 player and listening to music have insufficient space for carrying the MP3 player and the earphone cord of an earphone causes inconvenience in user's activity. Therefore, there is a need for an improvement.
- Accordingly, it is an aspect of the present invention to provide a headwear which allows a user to carry conveniently a portable audio device.
- It is another aspect of the present invention to provide a headwear which allows a user to arrange an earphone cord connected with a portable audio device so as to be convenient for user's activity.
- The foregoing and/or other aspects of the present invention can be achieved by providing a headwear with receiving part for portable audio device which includes a crown part which is a body of the headwear; a visor part attached to lower front part of the crown part; and a size adjustment part attached to a lower rear part of the crown part, wherein a portable audio device receiving part for receiving a portable audio device is provided at a side surface of the crown part and an earphone holder for holding an earphone cord of the portable audio device is placed at an inside of the size adjustment part.
- The above and/or other aspects and advantages of the prevent invention will become apparent and more readily appreciated from the following description of the exemplary embodiments, taken in conjunction with the accompany drawings, in which:

FIG. 2 is a rear perspective view illustrating the headwear according to an embodiment of the present invention, in which some part of a size adjustment part is unfolded; -
FIG. 3 is a lower view illustrating the headwear according to an embodiment of the present invention; -
FIG. 4 is a rear perspective view illustrating a headwear according to another embodiment of the present invention; -
FIG. 5 is a rear perspective view illustrating the headwear according to another embodiment of the present invention, in which some part of a size adjustment part is unfolded; and -
FIG. 6 is a lower view illustrating the headwear according to another embodiment of the present invention. - Reference will now be made in detail to the embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein like reference numerals refer to like elements throughout. The embodiments are described below so as to explain the present invention by referring to the figures.

FIG. 1 is a rear perspective view illustrating a headwear according to an embodiment of the present invention;FIG. 2 is a rear perspective view illustrating the headwear according to an embodiment of the present invention, in which some part of a size adjustment part is unfolded; andFIG. 3 is a lower view illustrating the headwear according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown inFIGS. 1 , 2 and 3, a headwear with a receiving part for a portable audio device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes acrown part 1 which is a body of the headwear, avisor part 2 attached to lower front part of thecrown part 1, ahead band part 13 attached to lower inner peripheral part of thecrown part 1 and a size adjustment part 4 attached to a lower rear part of thecrown part 1. A pouch type portable audiodevice receiving part 3 for receiving aportable audio device 7 is provided at a side surface of thecrown part 1. The size adjustment part 4 has an outer Velcro fastener 12 a and an inner Velcrofastener 12 b. Anearphone holder 10 for receiving an earphone cord connected with the portable audio device is placed at an inside of the outer Velcrofastener 12 a. The portable audiodevice receiving part 3 has a shape of the pouch having a size capable of receiving theportable audio device 7. An inlet 8 for inserting theportable audio device 7 into the portable audiodevice receiving part 3 therethrough is provided at a front surface of the portable audiodevice receiving part 3 and anoutlet 9 for connecting anearphone plug 5 with theportable audio device 7 therethrough is provided at a rear surface of the portable audiodevice receiving part 3. The inlet 8 andoutlet 9 of the receivingpart 3 have such sizes that the portable audio device does not easily get out of the audiodevice receiving part 3. The portable audiodevice receiving part 3 is made of flexible of non-flexible woven or knit fabric. Aprinting 5 of a control part of theportable audio device 3 is provided at an outside of the portable audiodevice receiving part 3 and anelectromagnetic shielding fabric 14 is additionally attached to an inside of thecrown part 1 corresponding to the position where the portable audiodevice receiving part 3 is placed. A user may insert theportable audio device 7 such as an MP3 player into the portable audiodevice receiving part 3 of the headwear according to the present invention through the inlet 8 of the portable audiodevice receiving part 3. A jack of theportable audio device 7 for connecting theportable audio device 7 with the earphone cord gets out of the outlet of the portable audiodevice receiving part 3. After that, theearphone plug 5 is inserted into the jack. Theearphone cord 6 is wound onto theearphone holder 10 placed within the outer Velcro fastener after the folded outer Velcro fastener of the size adjustment part 4 is unfolded. Theearphone holder 10 is made of soft or hard material and has two hook-shaped portions at both sides thereof, which are curved toward outside respectively so as to wind theearphone cord 6 thereon. Therefore, theearphone cord 6 is wound several times onto theearphone holder 10 and then the Velcro fastener is folded to attach a Velcrotape 16 placed at an outside of theearphone holder 10 and a Velcrotape 11 placed at an outside of the size adjustment part 4 to each other. After that, both ends of the earphone are inserted into ears of the user. As the result, the user can listen conveniently to music in normal time. Also, proper arrangement removes inconvenience in user's activity due to the earphone cord and the electromagnetic shielding fabric prevents the user from being influenced by electromagnetic wave generatable from the portable audio device. -
FIG. 4 is a rear perspective view illustrating a headwear according to another embodiment of the present invention;FIG. 5 is a rear perspective view illustrating the headwear according to another embodiment of the present invention, in which some part of a size adjustment part is unfolded; andFIG. 6 is a lower view illustrating the headwear according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown inFIGS. 4 , 5 and 6, a headwear with a receiving part for a portable audio device according to another embodiment of the present invention includes, like the aforementioned embodiment, acrown part 17 which is a body of the headwear, avisor part 18 attached to lower front part of thecrown part 17, a head band part 33 attached to lower inner peripheral part of thecrown part 17 and asize adjustment part 20 attached to a lower rear part of thecrown part 17. A pouch type portable audiodevice receiving part 19 for receiving aportable audio device 22 is provided at a side surface of thecrown part 17. Thesize adjustment part 20 has an outer Velcro fastener 30 a and an inner Velcro fastener 30 b. Anearphone receiving part 27 for receiving anearphone cord 25 connected with theportable audio device 22 is placed at an inside of the outer Velcrofastener 30 a. The portable audiodevice receiving part 19 has a pocket for receiving the portable 22 and a tighteningband 23 for fixing theportable audio device 22 to prevent it from getting out of the pocket, and the pocket is provided thereon with a Velcrotape 26 to attach an end portion of the tighteningband 23 and pocket to each other. The portable audiodevice receiving part 19 has an inlet opened in a rounded circular shape and thus some part of theportable audio device 22 can be seen from the outside after theportable audio device 22 is inserted into the pocket. Anearphone plug 24 is inserted into an earphone jack placed at an upper end portion of theportable audio device 22 and theearphone cord 25 is wound onto anearphone earphone holder 27 placed within the outer Velcrofastener 30 a of thesize adjustment part 20. Theearphone holder 27 is made of soft or hard material and has two hook-shaped portions at both sides thereof, which are curved toward outside respectively so as to wind theearphone cord 25 thereon. Therefore, theearphone cord 25 is wound several times onto theearphone holder 27 and then the Velcro fastener is folded to attach a Velcrotape 28 placed at an outside of theearphone holder 27 and a Velcrotape 29 placed at an outside of thesize adjustment part 20 to each other. Therefore, some part of theearphone cord 25 can be safely held in theearphone holder 27 at an inside of thesize adjustment part 20. In order to prevent an electromagnetic wave, anelectromagnetic shielding fabric 19 is additionally attached to an inside of thecrown part 17 corresponding to the position where the portable audiodevice receiving part 3 is placed. Likewise an embodiment of the present invention, in another embodiment, the user can listen conveniently to music in normal time. Also, proper arrangement removes inconvenience in user's activity due to the earphone cord and the electromagnetic shielding fabric prevents the user from being influenced by electromagnetic wave generatable from the portable audio device. - As described above, a headwear with a receiving part for a portable audio device according to the present invention includes a crown part which is a body of the headwear, a visor part attached to lower front part of the crown part, a head band part attached to lower inner peripheral part of the crown part and a size adjustment part attached to a lower rear part of the crown part, and is characterized in that A portable audio device receiving part for receiving a portable audio device is provided at a side surface of the
crown part 17 and an earphone holder for holding an earphone cord connected with the portable audio device is provided at the size adjustment part. Therefore, it is very easy for users to carry a portable audio device since the portable audio device can be received in a headwear and an earphone cord can be arranged so as to be convenient in user's activity and the users are not influenced from electromagnetic wave generatable from the portable audio device since an electromagnetic shielding fabric is used. - Although a few exemplary embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that changes may be made in these embodiments without departing from the principles and spirit of the invention, the scope of which is defined in the appended claims and their equivalents.
Claims (4)
1. A headwear with receiving part for portable audio device, comprising:
a crown part which is a body of the headwear;
a visor part attached to lower front part of the crown part; and
a size adjustment part attached to a lower rear part of the crown part,
wherein a pouch type portable audio device receiving part for receiving a portable audio device is provided at a side surface of the crown part; an earphone holder for holding an earphone cord of the portable audio device is attached to the size adjustment part; the portable audio device receiving part has an inlet which is placed at a front surface of the portable audio device receiving part and through which the portable audio device is inserted into the portable audio device receiving part and an outlet which is placed at a rear surface of the portable audio device receiving part and through which a plug of the earphone cord is inserted into a jack of the portable audio device; the size adjustment part has an outer Velcro fastener and inner Velcro fastener; and the earphone holder is placed at an inside of the outer Velcro fastener and has two hook-shaped portions at both sides thereof, which are curved toward outside respectively so as to wind the earphone cord thereon.
2. The headwear with receiving part for portable audio device as set forth in claim 1 , wherein an electromagnetic shielding fabric is attached to an inside of the crown part corresponding to the position where the portable audio device receiving part is placed.
3. A headwear with receiving part for portable audio device, comprising:
a crown part which is a body of the headwear;
a visor part attached to lower front part of the crown part; and
a size adjustment part attached to a lower rear part of the crown part,
wherein a pocket type portable audio device receiving part for receiving a portable audio device is provided at a side surface of the crown part; an earphone holder for holding an earphone cord of the portable audio device is attached to the size adjustment part; the portable audio device receiving part has a pocket for receiving the portable audio device therein and a fastening band connected with the pocket and fix the portable audio device so as to prevent the portable audio device from getting out to the outside; the size adjustment part has an outer Velcro fastener and inner Velcro fastener; and the earphone holder is placed at an inside of the outer Velcro fastener and has two hook-shaped portions at both sides thereof, which are curved toward outside respectively so as to wind the earphone cord thereon.
4. The headwear with receiving part for portable audio device as set forth in claim 3 , wherein an electromagnetic shielding fabric is attached to an inside of the crown part corresponding to the position where the portable audio device receiving part is placed.
