Abstract

A wall mounting decorative shelf assembly includes a mounting face, a support frame mounted on the mounting face, a mounting bracket mounted in the support frame, and a decorative shelf adjustably mounted on the support frame and combined with the mounting bracket by a plurality of threaded fastening members. The support frame has two upright sides each provided with a plurality of adjusting slots to allow passage of the fastening members. Thus, the fastening members are movable in the adjusting slots of the support frame so that the decorative shelf is movable relative to the support frame to adjust the position between the decorative shelf and the support frame so that the position of the decorative shelf can be adjusted slightly, and the decorative shelf can be mounted on the support frame easily and conveniently.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a decorative shelf assembly and, more particularly, to a wall mounting decorative shelf assembly mounted on a wall to provide a decorative effect.
2. Description of the Related Art
A conventional wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with the prior art shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 comprises a mounting face 90, a support frame 91 mounted on the mounting face 90, and a decorative shelf 92 mounted on the support frame 91 by a plurality of threaded fastening members 93. The mounting face 90 is provided with a plurality of screw holes 901. The support frame 91 has a face provided with a plurality of through holes 911, and the wall mounting decorative shelf assembly further comprises a plurality of locking screws 912 extending through the through holes 911 of the support frame 91 and screwed into the screw holes 901 of the mounting face 90 to secure the support frame 91 to the mounting face 90. The support frame 91 has two opposite upright sides each provided with a plurality of screw bores 913 to allow screwing of the fastening members 93 into the screw bores 913 respectively. The decorative shelf 92 has a side provided with a mounting recess 921 mounted on the support frame 91. The mounting recess 921 of the decorative shelf 92 has two opposite sidewalls each provided with a plurality of through bores 922 aligning with the screw bores 913 of the support frame 91 to allow passage of the fastening members 93 respectively. The fastening members 93 in turn extend through the through bores 922 of the decorative shelf 92 and are screwed into the screw bores 913 of the support frame 91 to attach the decorative shelf 92 to the support frame 91.
However, when the through bores 922 of the decorative shelf 92 do not align with the screw bores 913 of the support frame 91 due to a working tolerance or error, the fastening members 93 cannot extend through the through bores 922 of the decorative shelf 92 and cannot be screwed into the screw bores 913 of the support frame 91 easily, thereby causing inconvenience to a user when mounting the decorative shelf 92 onto the support frame 91.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a wall mounting decorative shelf assembly, comprising a mounting face, a support frame mounted on the mounting face, a mounting bracket mounted in the support frame, and a decorative shelf adjustably mounted on the support frame and combined with the mounting bracket by a plurality of threaded fastening members. The support frame has two opposite upright sides each provided with a plurality of adjusting slots to allow passage of the fastening members respectively. The mounting bracket has two opposite upright sides each provided with a plurality of screw bores aligning with the adjusting slots of the support frame respectively to allow screwing of the fastening members into the screw bores respectively.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a wall mounting decorative shelf assembly that is assembled easily and quickly.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a wall mounting decorative shelf assembly, wherein each of the fastening members is movable in a respective one of the adjusting slots of the support frame so that the decorative shelf and the mounting bracket are movable relative to the support frame to adjust the position between the decorative shelf and the support frame so that the position of the decorative shelf can be adjusted to the optimum state, and the decorative shelf can be mounted on the support frame easily and conveniently.
A further objective of the present invention is to provide a wall mounting decorative shelf assembly, wherein when the fastening members 50 are screwed into the screw bores of the mounting bracket respectively, the two upright sides of the mounting bracket are movable to closely abut the two upright sides of the support frame respectively by provision of the opening to clamp the support frame between the mounting bracket and the decorative shelf closely and exactly.
Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a mounting face 10, a support frame 20 mounted on the mounting face 10, a mounting bracket 30 mounted in the support frame 20, and a decorative shelf 40 adjustably mounted on the support frame 20 and combined with the mounting bracket 30 by a plurality of threaded fastening members 50.
The mounting face 10 is provided with a plurality of screw holes 11.
The support frame 20 is sandwiched and clamped between the mounting bracket 30 and the decorative shelf 40 by the fastening members 50. The support frame 20 is a rectangular hollow body. The support frame 20 has a face provided with a plurality of through holes 21, and the wall mounting decorative shelf assembly further comprises a plurality of locking screws 22 extending through the through holes 21 of the support frame 20 and screwed into the screw holes 11 of the mounting face 10 to secure the support frame 20 to the mounting face 10. The support frame 20 has two opposite upright sides 24 each provided with a plurality of adjusting slots 23 to allow passage of the fastening members 50 respectively. Each of the adjusting slots 23 of the support frame 20 has an elongate shape and has a length greater than a size of each of the fastening members 50.
The mounting bracket 30 has a size smaller than that of the support frame 20 so that the mounting bracket 30 is movable in the support frame 20. The mounting bracket 30 has a substantially U-shaped (or inverted U-shaped) profile and has two opposite upright sides 32 each provided with a plurality of screw bores 321 aligning with the adjusting slots 23 of the support frame 20 respectively to allow screwing of the fastening members 50 into the screw bores 321 respectively. The two upright sides 32 of the mounting bracket 30 are movable on the two upright sides 24 of the support frame 20 respectively. Each of the two upright sides 32 of the mounting bracket 30 abuts an inner face of a respective one of the two upright sides 24 of the support frame 20. Each of the two upright sides 32 of the mounting bracket 30 has a first end and a second end, and the mounting bracket 30 has a connecting portion 33 located between the first ends of the two upright sides 32 of the mounting bracket 30 and an opening 31 defined between the second ends of the two upright sides 32 of the mounting bracket 30. Thus, the second ends of the two upright sides 32 of the mounting bracket 30 are movable freely relative to the two upright sides 24 of the support frame 20 respectively by provision of the opening 31.
The decorative shelf 40 has a side provided with a mounting recess 41 mounted on the support frame 20. The mounting recess 41 of the decorative shelf 40 has two opposite sidewalls each provided with a plurality of through bores 42 aligning with the adjusting slots 23 of the support frame 20 respectively to allow passage of the fastening members 50 respectively.
The fastening members 50 in turn extend through the through bores 42 of the decorative shelf 40 and the adjusting slots 23 of the support frame 20 respectively and are screwed into the screw bores 321 of the mounting bracket 30 respectively to clamp the support frame 20 between the mounting bracket 30 and the decorative shelf 40 and to attach the decorative shelf 40 to the support frame 20. Each of the fastening members 50 is movable in a respective one of the adjusting slots 23 of the support frame 20 so that the decorative shelf 40 and the mounting bracket 30 are movable relative to the support frame 20 by guidance of the fastening members 50 to adjust a position between the decorative shelf 40 and the support frame 20.
In assembly, the support frame 20 is attached to the mounting face 10 by the locking screws 22. Then, the mounting bracket 30 is placed in the support frame 20 with the screw bores 321 of the mounting bracket 30 aligning with the adjusting slots 23 of the support frame 20 respectively. Then, the decorative shelf 40 is mounted on the support frame 20 with the through bores 42 of the decorative shelf 40 aligning with the adjusting slots 23 of the support frame 20 respectively. Then, the fastening members 50 in turn extend through the through bores 42 of the decorative shelf 40 and the adjusting slots 23 of the support frame 20 respectively and are screwed into the screw bores 321 of the mounting bracket 30 respectively to combine the support frame 20, the mounting bracket 30 and the decorative shelf 40. At this time, each of the fastening members 50 is movable in a respective one of the adjusting slots 23 of the support frame 20 so that the decorative shelf 40 and the mounting bracket 30 are movable relative to the support frame 20 by guidance of the fastening members 50 to adjust the position between the decorative shelf 40 and the support frame 20. After the position between the decorative shelf 40 and the support frame 20 is adjusted, each of the fastening members 50 is tightened to clamp the support frame 20 between the mounting bracket 30 and the decorative shelf 40 and so as to attach the decorative shelf 40 to the support frame 20. At this time, when the fastening members 50 are screwed into the screw bores 321 of the mounting bracket 30 respectively, the two upright sides 32 of the mounting bracket 30 are movable to closely abut the two upright sides 24 of the support frame 20 respectively by provision of the opening 31 to clamp the support frame 20 between the mounting bracket 30 and the decorative shelf 40 closely and exactly.
Accordingly, each of the fastening members 50 is movable in a respective one of the adjusting slots 23 of the support frame 20 so that the decorative shelf 40 and the mounting bracket 30 are movable relative to the support frame 20 to adjust the position between the decorative shelf 40 and the support frame 20 so that the position of the decorative shelf 40 can be adjusted to the optimum state, and the decorative shelf 40 can be mounted on the support frame 20 easily and conveniently. In addition, when the fastening members 50 are screwed into the screw bores 321 of the mounting bracket 30 respectively, the two upright sides 32 of the mounting bracket 30 are movable to closely abut the two upright sides 24 of the support frame 20 respectively by provision of the opening 31 to clamp the support frame 20 between the mounting bracket 30 and the decorative shelf 40 closely and exactly.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.

Claims

1. A wall mounting decorative shelf assembly, comprising:

a mounting face;

a support frame mounted on the mounting face;

a mounting bracket mounted in the support frame;

a decorative shelf adjustably mounted on the support frame and combined with the mounting bracket by a plurality of threaded fastening members.

2. The wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with claim 1, wherein

the support frame has two opposite upright sides each provided with a plurality of adjusting slots to allow passage of the fastening members respectively;

the mounting bracket has two opposite upright sides each provided with a plurality of screw bores aligning with the adjusting slots of the support frame respectively to allow screwing of the fastening members into the screw bores respectively.

3. The wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with claim 2, wherein each of the adjusting slots of the support frame has an elongate shape.

4. The wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with claim 2, wherein each of the adjusting slots of the support frame has a length greater than a size of each of the fastening members.

5. The wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with claim 2, wherein the mounting bracket has a substantially U-shaped profile.

6. The wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with claim 5, wherein

each of the two upright sides of the mounting bracket has a first end and a second end;

the mounting bracket has a connecting portion located between the first ends of the two upright sides of the mounting bracket and an opening defined between the second ends of the two upright sides of the mounting bracket.

7. The wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with claim 6, wherein

the decorative shelf has a side provided with a mounting recess mounted on the support frame;

the mounting recess of the decorative shelf has two opposite sidewalls each provided with a plurality of through bores aligning with the adjusting slots of the support frame respectively to allow passage of the fastening members respectively;

the fastening members in turn extend through the through bores of the decorative shelf and the adjusting slots of the support frame respectively and are screwed into the screw bores of the mounting bracket respectively to clamp the support frame between the mounting bracket and the decorative shelf and to attach the decorative shelf to the support frame.

8. The wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with claim 7, wherein the second ends of the two upright sides of the mounting bracket are movable freely relative to the two upright sides of the support frame respectively by provision of the opening.

The wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with claim 8, wherein when the fastening members are screwed into the screw bores of the mounting bracket respectively, the two upright sides of the mounting bracket are movable to abut the two upright sides of the support frame respectively by provision of the opening to clamp the support frame between the mounting bracket and the decorative shelf.

10. The wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with claim 7, wherein

each of the fastening members is movable in a respective one of the adjusting slots of the support frame;

the decorative shelf and the mounting bracket are movable relative to the support frame by guidance of the fastening members to adjust a position between the decorative shelf and the support frame.

11. The wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with claim 2, wherein

the mounting bracket has a size smaller than that of the support frame;

the mounting bracket is movable in the support frame.

12. The wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with claim 2, wherein the two upright sides of the mounting bracket are movable on the two upright sides of the support frame respectively.

13. The wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with claim 2, wherein each of the two upright sides of the mounting bracket abuts an inner face of a respective one of the two upright sides of the support frame.

14. The wall mounting decorative shelf assembly in accordance with claim 1, wherein the support frame is sandwiched and clamped between the mounting bracket and the decorative shelf by the fastening members.
