Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a multi-function worktable that may easily overturn the top plate for changing the use mode by way of an overturning mechanism.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Arts
  • As illustrated in FIG. 1, a prior art multi-function worktable 10 comprises a table plate 11 including two side surfaces for use in different modes. The table plate 11 includes a top surface in the form of a plane provided thereon and having receiving compartments 111 mounted thereon for placing tools or parts in a workbench mode, and includes a net-shaped pedal arranged on the bottom surface thereof for the user's stepping thereon in a scaffold mode. The table plate 11 further includes coupling portions 12 attached on two sides thereof and having positioning devices 121 fixed therein respectively. The coupling portions 12 includes leg supports 13 axially secured on the two ends thereof individually for using the positioning devices 121 of the coupling portions 12 to control the rotations and positions of the leg supports 13. In addition, the leg supports 13 are connected to the table plate 11 by way of the connecting rod assemblies 14, so that the leg supports 13 may stably support the table plate 11. Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, as changing the worktable 10 from a workbench mode to a scaffold mode, the connecting rod assemblies 14 are disengaged from one ends of the leg supports 13 individually, and the positioning devices 121 of the connecting rod assemblies 14 are released so as to rotate the leg supports 13 toward another sides. After they are pivotally rotated to proper angles, the positioning devices 121 of the coupling portions 12 are changed for fixing the leg supports 13, and then the connecting rod assemblies 14 are coupled to the leg supports 13 individually, thereby overturning the worktable 10 for use in a scaffold mode.
  • Nevertheless, such a prior art worktable 10 still has the following disadvantages:
  • 1. Because during the changing operation of the use mode, the connecting rod assemblies 14 have to be disengaged from one ends of the leg supports 13, and then the leg supports 13 are axially rotated to proper angles and positioned individually. Thereafter, the connecting rod assemblies 14 are joined to the leg supports 13 again, causing a tedious changing operation.
  • 2. Furthermore, as axially rotating the leg supports 13 and overturning the worktable 10, the user has to finish the mode-changing operation by himself, resulting in a difficult and labor consuming operation.
  • The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary object of the present invention is to provide a multi-function worktable that may easily overturn the top plate for changing the use mode.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a multi-function worktable that may overturn the top plate with saving labor by using an overturning mechanism.
  • In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a multi-function worktable comprising a bottom plate including two cylindrical members disposed at two sides thereof and having through grooves formed therein, and four leg assemblies affixed to the front and rear ends of the two cylindrical members individually for extension and extraction, an overturning mechanism being fixed between the two cylindrical members for using the top plate in different modes, wherein the overturning mechanism includes two opposite guide slots formed in the two cylindrical members, and the top plate includes two rollers mounted on two sides thereof where correspond to one ends of the guide slots respectively, such that as moving the top plate upward, the two rollers may rollingly move frontward and backward along the two guide slots so as to change the top plate in different use modes.
