- When manufacturing caps, logo decorated on a specified location on the crown is gradually promoted as one of the requested steps, which is concerned by both of the suppliers and manufacturers. While attaching logo decoration with cap band can be basically classified into direct or indirect steps, such as embroider, printing, heat transfer etc., attributed to “direct” steps, but woven label, print label, leather patch etc., attributed to “indirect” steps. Whether or not a direct or an indirect step is applied, a logo in demand as usual is added to an outer side of a crown, but not being added to a cap band composed of blend yarn with a stretchable capacity. Logo combined to such a cap band is undesirable, either ruptures occurred to the stretched out of shape cap bands, or damages and deformations happened to the shrunk cap bands. To replete with such lower grade of cap products on the market sold at reduced price. A front side of a flexible cap band still wants for a good taste logo. While in the prior arts, logos simply added and secured to the front side of a cap band by stitching. Where a piece of cloth imprinted with logo has a distinction of prominence due to a contrast over the front side of the cap band—it's easy to perceive—but it may cause an unevenness occurred to the front side of the cap band. It's hideous or not refined to look at. Moreover, when wearing for a longer while, a wearer may feel discomfort about one's head portion.
- Accordingly, how can a flexible cap band be adorned with vivid and neat logo, which is retained in good shape, should be more concerned by the wears.

InFIG. 4 , a perspective view of the flexible cap band is illustrated. InFIG. 5 , a cross sectional view taken along line 5-5 ofFIG. 4 is illustrated. - In
FIGS. 1 and 2 , acrown 50 is equipped with abill 60 extended forward, a lower peripheral edge of thecrown 50 is reserved abrim 51 extended downward at a range from 3 mm to 10 mm therefrom. Further, thebrim 51 is stitched together with aflexible cap band 10, which is later stitched around an inner side of a cap. After stitching, thebrim 51 is turned over 180 degrees by which said flexible cap band. 10 is enclosed within inside thecrown 50. It is understood that thecap band 10 is initially stitched around an outer surface of thebrim 51, after stitching, as thebrim 51 is turned over, thecap band 10 is shown inside thecrown 50. Furthermore, theflexible cap band 10 is stitched by, at least, twotransversal stitches 80 extended from two ends ofseams 53 acrossstitches 73 to fix to thecrown 50. Thereby theflexible band 10 does not split up from there to form any turnup. Thestitches 73 are hidden from view inside thecrown 50 to fix thebrim 51 to the inner side of thecrown 50. When theflexible band 10 stitched inside thecrown 50 can be fitted over a range of head portions of wearers, the size of theflexible cap band 10 is adjustable according to the difference of the wearers' head portion. - Said
flexible cap band 10 is composed of a water absorbent uniaxialstretchable band 20, and alogo 40 to be displayed attached to anon-woven band 30. Both lateral ends 31,32 of saidnon-woven band 30 and both lateral ends 21, 22 of saidsweat band 20 are stitched together bystitches FIG. 4 to form aflexible band 10 fit together to the inner side of thecrown 50, theflexible band 10 has a length B. While said inflexible wovenband 30 has a length A, which is incorporated into the length B of theflexible band 10, a proportion of A to B is in the range of from one sixth to one tenth. (i.e. 1/6˜1/10) Either the proportion of A to B is larger than one sixth, thesweat band 20 will be endowed with an insufficient elasticity to adjust to a range of head portions of wearers; Or the proportion of A to B smaller than one tenth, thelogo 40 occupies too small space to show prominently. Accordingly, based on the trial run of the proportions of A to B, it is assumed that a proportion ofinflexible band 30 to thesweat band 20 is preferrably one seventh. In other words, the proportion of theinflexible band 30 to theflexible band 10 is preferrably one eighth (i.e. 1/8), thesweat band 20 to theflexible band 10 is preferrably seven eighth (i.e. 7/8). - As mentioned above, the
inflexible band 30 combined to thesweat band 20 can be located at a left end, a right end or the rear end of thecrown 50, where theinflexible band 30 is preferrably placed at the rear end inside thecrown 50. Theinflexible band 30 is preferrably placed at the rear end, because a contrast between the logo attached to theinflexible band 30 and thesweat band 20 is easy to perceive. - As mentioned above, the
sweat band 20 is made of stretchable polyester yarns and elastic synthetic fibers. But a basic material constituent of theinflexible band 30 can be selected from one as following: cotton blended, polyester blended, polyester mixed cotton, or same as material constituent of thecrown 50. - As shown in
FIG. 6 , a schematic view of an inflexible band is to be assembled is illustrated. InFIG. 7 , an assembled view of the inflexible band is assembled is illustrated. InFIG. 8 , an exploded view of thelogo 40 combined to theinflexible band 30 is illustrated. InFIG. 9 , a schematic view of theinflexible band 30 combined to thesweat band 20 is illustrated. - In
FIG. 6 , afabric 34 is not endowed with a uniaxial stretchable capacity as thesweat band 20 is, thefabric 34 is enclosed by a piece ofnon-woven fabric 35. A square measure of thefabric 34 is, at least, two folds of thenon-woven fabric 35. A length of thenon-woven fabric 35 is identical to thefabric 34. When thenon-woven fabric 35 is placed in a middle portion of thefabric 34 further flushed with both left and right sides of thefabric 34, both front andrear ends fabric 34 can be folded inward toward the middle portion to cover up thenon-woven fabric 35. After that, as shown inFIG. 7 , thefabric 34 enclosed by thenon-woven fabric 35 can be stitched together by stitches 79. At the time, a first surface of theinflexible band 30 is formed with a center parting, but a second surface is not formed with such a center parting. Whereby the second surface is suitable to adhere with the wovenlogo 40 by adhesive or stitches. - Finally, a perimeter of the
logo 40 is stitched to theinflexible band 30 by stitches 78 (refer toFIG. 9 ), thelogo 40 is preferrably placed at a center of theinflexible band 30. - As mentioned above, two lateral ends 21, 22 of the
sweat band 20 are stitched to two lateral ends 31,32 of theinflexible band 30 respectively, odd bits 21 a, 21 b, 31 a, 31 b, are clinging fabric remains of the lateral ends 21,22,31,32 respectively can be turned over at 180 degrees, and then stitched together to the lateral ends 21,22,31,32 respectively by stitching. Finally, as shown inFIG. 4 , aflexible cap band 10 is formed circular in shape to fit together to the inner side of thecrown 50. - As shown in
FIG. 10 , a sectional view taken along line 10-10 ofFIG. 3 , inFIG. 11 , a sectional view taken along line 11-11 ofFIG. 3 . InFIG. 10 , a bottom edge of theinflexible band 30 is stitched to thebrim 51 of thecrown 50 by stitching. A second surface of thebrim 51 is stitched to anon-woven fabric 52 bystitches 70; as a result, theinflexible band 30 is integrally combined to thebrim 51 to support thelogo 40 on a first surface of thebrim 51 to be displayed. As shown inFIG. 11 , a bottom edge of the sweat band 20 (preferrable a seven eighth of a circumference of the flexible band 10) is stitched to thebrim 51 of thecrown 50 by stitching, they are combined as a whole without any burst open in between. - As mentioned above, the woven
logo 40 is adopted from one as following: woven label, print label, or leather patch. Furthermore, patterns of thelogo 40 is adopted from one as following: embroider, printing, heat transfer. - The
sweat band 20 of saidflexible band 10 combined to theinflexible band 30 with alogo 40 to be displayed is not only to save the material constituents about manufacturing thesweat band 20, but also the logo to be displayed can be shown on theflexible band 10. - In comparison with the prior arts, some merits can be achieved by embodiments of the present invention, such as a uniaxial
stretchable sweat band 20 is integrated with an inflexiblewoven band 30 having alogo 40 to be displayed to form aflexible cap band 10. Thereby, a vivid andneat logo 40 could be kept in good shape, while the inflexible wovenband 30 integrally combined with the uniaxialstretchable sweat band 20 as a whole, the flexibility of thefinished cap band 10 is not affected by the logo incorporated therein. - Said inflexible woven
band 30 is placed at an inner side of a rear end of thecrown 50, it is to occupy a prominence place visible to the naked eyes of the customers. - The proportion of the length A of said inflexible woven
band 30 to the length B of theflexible cap band 10 is preferrably one eighth (i.e. 1/8). The reason why thelogo 40 on the wovenband 30 is preferrably selected from a proportion near 1/8, because it is designed in accordance with golden ratio expressed as T=1+√{square root over ( )}5/2. It is assumed that the length B of thecap band 10 is likely a circumference (C). While the circumference (C) having the same length B of thecap band 10 is co-planar withseams 53 stitched across thecrown 50 likely diameters (D) (please refer toFIG. 1 ), there has a circumference to the diameter ratio closed to π (3.14159) relationship, expressed as C/D=6T2/5 or C/D=4/√{square root over ( )}T; both are calculated closed to 3.14 approach to π value, in consideration of so-called golden ratio related to the π (3.14159) value, for showing thelogo 40 on the inflexible wovenband 30 to be distinctive and prominent between the seams amid thecrown 50. Theseams 53 stitched across thecrown 50, which is divided into six equal portions, therefore, each portion of the seams divided crown is clearly a ratio of 1/6. Meanwhile, the wovenband 30 at a rear end fit together to the inner side of the crown, the proportion ofinflexible band 30 to theflexible band 10 is in the range from 1/6˜1/10, preferrably 1/8. As a result, not only a circumference and a diameter relationship is already shown by the brim 51 (stitched together with the flexible band 10) and theseams 53, but also a golden ratio T=1+√{square root over ( )}5/2 is clearly included by the ratio of crown divided portion (1/6) and the proportion of the inflexible band to the flexible band (1/6˜1/10, preferrably 1/8). It is can be expressed as 1/6:1/6˜1/6:1/10 to show a proportion of 11.5. As well known, the golden ratio T=1+√{square root over ( )}5/2 is included in such a range of ratio. Further, thelogo 40 stitched to theinflexible band 30 is preferrably restricted to a ratio less than 1/6:1/8 (less than 1.33), and it is easy to perceive because it may approach to a golden ratio. -
Non-woven fabric 35 is enclosed by a sheet likefabric 34 free from uniaxial stretchable capacity of thesweat band 20. As thefabrics stitches 79 integrally as a whole. Thereby thenon-woven fabric 30 composed of thefabrics non-woven fabric 30 are not stretched-out, but also the wholenon-woven fabric 30 is kept not out of shape. It can be employed as a platform to attach with thelogo 40, which is also maintained in good shape. - A perimeter of said woven
logo 40 is stitched together with thenon-woven band 30 bystitches 78; thereby thelogo 40 is secured to thenon-woven band 30 without any movements. - Said woven
logo 40 can be selected from one as following: woven label, print label, and leather patch; therefore, thelogo 40 is not restricted to only one pattern. - Said woven
logo 40 can be selected from one as following: embroider, printing, heat transfer; therefore, thelogo 40 is not limited to only one pattern. - Said woven
logo 40 is made of cotton blend, polyester yarn blend, polyester mixed cotton, because they are not flexible and stretchable fibers, a preferrable inflexible band can be formed. - Said
sweat band 20 is made of stretchable polyester yarns and flexible synthetic fibers, a preferrable uniaxial stretchable effect is achieved, with fluffs on the surface to increase a feeling of dermal sensation of the wearer. Further, the fluffs can absorb sweat perspiration from the wearer. - The
brim 51 of saidcrown 50 is combined to thenon-woven band 30 by stitching; after a piece ofnon-woven cloth 52 is stitched together to the inner side of thecrown 50 bystitches 70, the bottom peripheral edge of thecrown 50 combined to thenon-woven band 30 more stable.
