Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a container, and more particularly to a container including a detachable or disengageable structure for selectively receiving or containing the toilet brush and/or the toilet sucker and for allowing the container to be easily disassembled for cleaning purposes.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- Various kinds of typical containers have been developed and provided for receiving or containing a toilet brush, or may comprise a toilet brush selectively received or engaged in the typical container. Normally, for sealingly receiving the water and the toilet brush, the typical container is normally made or formed into a well sealed structure having a blinded chamber formed therein for sealingly receiving the water therein and for preventing the water from leaking.
- For example, U.S. Design Pat. No. Des. 349,237 to Hall, U.S. Design Pat. No. D465,957 S to Driscoll et al., and U.S. Design Pat. No. D481,573 to Lin disclose three of the typical containers for receiving or containing a toilet brush.
- However, after cleaning operation, the parts or elements of the typical containers may not be detached or disengaged or disassembled from each other such that the typical containers may not be easily cleaned by the users.
- The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional containers for receiving or containing the toilet brushes.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a container including a detachable or disengageable structure for selectively receiving or containing the toilet brush and/or the toilet sucker and for allowing the container to be easily disassembled for cleaning purposes.
- In accordance with one aspect of the invention, there is provided a container comprising a container member including a cylindrical structure having an inner peripheral flange curved and folded radially and inwardly from a lower portion thereof, and including a chamber formed therein, a base plate engaged into an inner chamber of the container member, the base plate including a peripheral recess formed therein for engaging with the peripheral flange of the container member, a frame having an upper peripheral shoulder formed therein for receiving the lower portion of the container member, and a bottom board engaged onto the frame and secured to the base plate for securing the frame between the bottom board and the base plate and for detachably securing the frame and the bottom board and the base plate to the lower portion of the container member. The frame and the bottom board and the base plate may be selectively disengaged or disassembled from the lower portion of the container member for allowing the container to be easily disassembled and cleaned.
- The frame includes a peripheral bulge extended upwardly therefrom for engaging onto the lower portion of the container member, and includes a peripheral rib extended radially and inwardly therefrom for forming the upper peripheral shoulder therein and for receiving or supporting the lower portion of the container member.
- The frame includes a lower peripheral shoulder formed therein for receiving the bottom board. The plate includes at least one screw hole formed therein, and the bottom board includes at least one orifice formed therein and aligned with the screw hole of the base plate for receiving a fastener therein.
- The container member includes an opened upper portion, a ring member includes a peripheral fence engaged into the opened upper portion of the container member. The plate includes at least one stud extended therefrom and having the screw hole formed in the stud. The bottom board includes at least one stud extended therefrom and having the orifice formed through the stud.
- A toilet brush may further be provided and selectively engaged into the chamber of the container member. A ring member includes a peripheral fence engaged into the container member and includes an inner peripheral shoulder formed therein, the toilet brush includes a brush member disposed on a shank, and a cover having an aperture formed therein for detechably attaching to the shank and for engaging with the inner peripheral shoulder of the container member and for blocking the container member.
- A toilet sucker may further be provided and selectively engaged into the chamber of the container member. The toilet sucker includes a sucker member disposed on a shank, and a cover having an aperture formed therein for detachably attaching to the shank and for engaging with the inner peripheral shoulder of the container member and for blocking the container member. A cushioning pad may further be provided and attached onto a bottom portion of the bottom board and the frame.
- Further objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from a careful reading of the detailed description provided hereinbelow, with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is a partial exploded view of a container in accordance with the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the container for receiving or containing the toilet brushes; -
FIG. 3 is a plan schematic view of the container in which a portion of the container has been cut off or removed for showing the inner structure of the container; -
FIG. 4 is an exploded view of the container; -
FIG. 5 is a perspective view illustrating a base plate of the container; and -
FIG. 6 is a partial exploded view similar toFIG. 1 illustrating the other arrangement of the container. - Referring to the drawings, and initially to
FIG. 1 , acontainer 2 in accordance with the present invention comprises a container body ormember 20 for selectively receiving or containing atoilet brush 50 and/or a toilet sucker 60 (FIG. 6 ). For example, as shown inFIGS. 1-4 , the container body ormember 20 includes a tubular or cylindrical structure having an innerperipheral flange 21 curved and folded radially and inwardly from thelower portion 22 thereof, and having an openedupper portion 23. A rim orring member 24 includes a narrowed or diameter reducedperipheral fence 25 extended downwardly therefrom for engaging into the openedupper portion 23 of thecontainer member 20, and includes an innerperipheral shoulder 26 formed therein. - A
base device 30 includes abase plate 31 to be engaged into aninner chamber 28 of thecontainer member 20 and having aperipheral recess 32 formed in the lower or bottom portion thereof for engaging with or for receiving theperipheral flange 21 of thecontainer member 20, best shown inFIG. 3 . It is preferable that thebase plate 31 is sealingly engaged into theinner chamber 28 of thecontainer member 20 with a force-fitted engagement for forming a water-tight seal between thecontainer member 20 and thebase plate 31. Thebase plate 31 further includes one or more (such as four)studs 33 extended downwardly therefrom and each having ascrew hole 34 formed therein (FIG. 5 ). - A
frame 35 includes aperipheral bulge 36 extended upwardly therefrom for engaging onto the outer and/orlower portion 22 of thecontainer member 20, and includes aperipheral rib 37 extended radially and inwardly therefrom for forming an upperperipheral shoulder 38 therein and for stably receiving or anchoring the outer and/orlower portion 22 of thecontainer member 20, also best shown inFIG. 3 . Theframe 35 further includes an innerperipheral shoulder 39 formed in the lower or bottom portion thereof for receiving abottom board 40 therein. Thebottom board 40 also includes one or more (such as four)studs 41 extended therein and aligned with thestuds 33 of thebase plate 31 and each having anorifice 42 formed therein and aligned with thescrew holes 34 of thebase plate 31 for receiving afastener 43 therein. - The
fasteners 43 may be engaged through theorifices 42 of thebottom board 40 and may be threaded or engaged with thescrew holes 34 of thebase plate 31 for solidly securing thebottom board 40 to the base plate 31 (FIG. 3 ), and also for solidly securing theframe 35 between thebottom board 40 and thebase plate 31, and also for solidly and detachably securing theframe 35 and thebottom board 40 and thebase plate 31 to thelower portion 22 of thecontainer member 20. It is further preferable that acushioning pad 44 is further provided and attached or secured onto the bottom portion of thebottom board 40 and/or theframe 35 for such as anti-slipping purposes. - In operation, as shown in
FIGS. 1 and 6 , either of thetoilet brushes 50 and/or either of thetoilet suckers 60 may be engaged into theinner chamber 28 of thecontainer member 20 which may also be provided for receiving the water or the detergent or the other cleaning agent therein. For example, thetoilet brushes 50 each include abrush member 51 disposed or provided on the lower portion of ashank 52, and acover 53 having anaperture 54 formed therein for detachably or removably attaching to theshank 52 and for selectively engaging with the innerperipheral shoulder 26 of thecontainer member 20 and for suitably blocking or sealing thecontainer member 20. - Similarly, the
