Description
- This application claims the priority of the Chinese patent application No. 200620062543.7, Which was filed on Aug. 4, 2006.
- This invention deals with the technology field of office furniture, especially a type of office chair with the lift-and-drop seat cushion.
- Office chair, especially the office chair with the adjustable height, is one of the most widely used office equipment at present; due to its adjustable height, its position can be adjusted according to different requirements of people, which makes it quite popular with the public. Diagram 1 shows the structure of the office chair of this type at present, it includes:
chair back 01,seat cushion 02,base frame 03 and L-shaped connectingpiece 04; several support installed with rollers are molded on the outer fringe of thebase frame 03 and thecylinder rod 05 is set in the middle of thebase frame 03; a U-shapedchassis 06 is fixed at the bottom side of thechair seat 02; thevertical part 041 of the connectingpiece 04 is fixed with thechair back 01 and aslender bar member 043 is projected on the front end of thetransversal part 042; thisslender bar member 043 is fixed on thechassis 06 by screws and there is a run-through hole coordinating with the top ofcylinder rod 05 on the bottom of thechassis 06. The front end of thehandle 07 goes through the side of thechassis 06 to coordinate the motion bar 08 of thecylinder rod 05, the motion bar 08 is connected with a piston bin (not shown in the drawing) in thecylinder rod 05, when push thehandle 07 down, the motion bar 08 makes the piston bin action, thereby to adjust the height of thechair seat 02. - With this structure, the height of the
seat cushion 02 of office chair can be adjusted; but it has the shortcomings of complex structure, high production costs and inconvenient installation for consumers. Furthermore, due to the fact that thetransversal part 042 of connectingpiece 042 are connected to theseat cushion 02 via theslender bar member 043 andchassis 06, the intensity is insufficient; when the consumer is leaning on the chair back 01 and rocking back and forth, theslender bar member 043 connecting the connectingpiece 04 andchassis 06 is easy to be broken, resulting in unusable chair, and even injury of the user. - The objective of this invention is to provide a type of office chair with improved structure in view of the shortage of the present technology; it has the advantages of simple structure, low production costs, easy assembly and good safety, etc.
- To achieve the aforesaid goal, the office chair with improved structure includes: chair back, seat cushion, base frame, L-shaped connecting piece; among others, the vertical part and transversal part of the connecting piece are connected with the chair back and seat cushion respectively; there is a cylinder with a cylinder rod in the middle of the base frame, a piston pin in the cylinder rod work together with a handle to realize the lifting and dropping of the seat cushion, the vertical part and transversal part of the connecting piece are directly fixed at the back end of chair back and bottom side of chair seat respectively; in addition, there is a fixing hole coordinating with the top of cylinder rod at the corresponding position of the middle of the seat cushion on the transversal part of the connecting piece.
- This invention simplifies the structure by adopting the method of direct fixed connection between the transversal part of the connecting piece and the seat cushion, which is convenient to assemble and reduces production costs; in addition, it enhances the connecting intensity between the transversal part of the connecting piece and the seat cushion, which strengthened the stability of the chair.
-
FIG. 1 is the structure scheme of the present office chair; -
FIG. 2 is the structure scheme I of this invention; -
FIG. 3 is the structure scheme II of this invention. - The following is just one good example of the implementation of this invention; it is not used to limit the protection scope of this invention.
- Please refer to the Attached Diagrams 2 and 3, this invention includes:
chair back 10,seat cushion 20,base frame 30 and connectingpiece 40; there is a cylinder with acylinder rod 50 fixed in the middle of thebase frame 30. - The Connecting
piece 40 is L-shaped, there areseveral screw holes 401 on itsvertical part 41 andtransversal part 42 respectively, thevertical part 41 of the connectingpiece 40 may be directly fixed at the back end of the chair back 10 via thescrew hole 401, while thetransversal part 42 is directly fixed at the bottom side of theseat cushion 20. To guarantee the intensity of the connectingpiece 40, the width of thetransversal part 42 of the connectingpiece 40 is ⅓ to ¼ of that of theseat cushion 20 to enlarge the stressed area; and the length of thetransversal part 40 of the connectingpiece 40 is approximately ⅔ of that of theseat cushion 20. - Because the connecting
piece 40 is molded in one piece, and itsvertical part 41 andtransversal part 42 are fixedly connected with chair back 10 andseat cushion 20 respectively, which makes the seat back 10 andseat cushion 20 become one piece so this fixed connection is very stable; when the consumer is leaning on the seat back 10 and rocking back and forth, the stable connection between the connectingpiece 40 andseat cushion 20 can be guaranteed, and the safety of this invention is enhanced. - A
fixing hole 421 is arranged on the corresponding position of the middle of theseat cushion 20 on thetransversal part 42 of the connectingpiece 40, and thefixing hole 421 coordinates with the top of thecylinder rod 50. Thecylinder rod 50 supports the connectingpiece 40 andseat cushion 20, the connectingpiece 40 andseat cushion 20 may move up and down with thecylinder rod 50. Thefixing hole 421 can be a run-through hole and the shape of it matches with that of the top of thecylinder rod 50 so as to fix thecylinder rod 50 firmly. The match between thefixing hole 421 and top of thecylinder rod 50 is tight fit. Metal or wood can be adopted as the materials for the connectingpiece 40; if wood is adopted, a strengtheningsleeve 43 can be nested in thefixing hole 421 on thetransversal part 42 of the connectingpiece 40, and the shape of the casing of strengtheningsleeve 43 matches with that of the top ofcylinder rod 50; during assembly, insert the top ofcylinder rod 50 into the casing of strengtheningsleeve 43 to increase the endurance of thefixing hole 421 against the top ofcylinder rod 50. - In order to make the
cylinder rod 50 coordinate better with the connectingpiece 40 andseat cushion 20, this invention made the following improvements on the structure of cylinder rod 50: there is a connecting hole on the outer wall of cylinder rod (50) and the front end ofhandle 51 is inserted into the connecting hole to coordinate with a piston pin inside the cylinder rod (50). Pushing thehandle 51 against the piston pin inside thecylinder rod 50 to control the upward and downward movements of theseat cushion 20.
