Abstract
A football playing table includes a platform, a plurality of doll players, an artificial sod, and a ball. The artificial sod is located between the bottom plate of the platform and the ball to increase the height of the ball relative to the bottom plate and each of the doll players. Thus, the foot toe of each of the doll players and the ball has a relatively lower contact point, so that when the foot toe of each of the doll players hits the ball, the ball is kicked outward and upward to form a higher ball, thereby greatly enhancing the amusement effect of playing the table football.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a football playing table, and more particularly to a football playing table having an enhanced playing effect by kicking a higher ball and eliminating a dead corner.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- A conventional football playing table in accordance with the prior art shown in
FIG. 5 comprises a platform (not shown) having abottom plate 10, a plurality ofdoll players 11 each pivotally mounted on the platform and each located above thebottom plate 10 of the platform, and aball 12 movably placed on thebottom plate 10 of the platform. However, theball 12 is located at a height smaller than that of each of thedoll players 11, so that a dead corner “A” is formed between theball 12 and each of thedoll players 11, thereby causing inconvenience to users when playing the table football, and thereby greatly decreasing the amusement effect of playing the table football. - In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a football playing table, comprising: a platform having a bottom plate; a plurality of doll players each pivotally mounted on the platform and each located above the bottom plate of the platform; an artificial sod mounted on the bottom plate of the platform; and a ball movably placed on the artificial sod.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a football playing table having an enhanced playing effect by kicking a higher ball and eliminating a dead corner.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide a football playing table, wherein the artificial sod is located between the bottom plate of the platform and the ball to increase a height of the ball relative to the bottom plate of the platform and each of the doll players.
- A further objective of the present invention is to provide a football playing table, wherein the foot toe of each of the doll players and the ball has a relatively lower contact point, so that when the foot toe of each of the doll players hits the ball, the ball is kicked outward and upward to form a higher ball, thereby greatly enhancing the amusement effect of playing the table football.
- A further objective of the present invention is to provide a football playing table, wherein the height of the ball is increased by provision of the artificial sod, so that the ball is located adjacent to a radius of curvature of the foot toe of each of the doll players so as to eliminate a dead corner of the foot toe of each of the doll players, thereby facilitating a user playing the table football.
- Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a football playing table in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a partially cut-away perspective view of the football playing table as shown inFIG. 1 ; -
FIG. 3 is a partially cut-away plan cross-sectional operational view of the football playing table as shown inFIG. 1 ; -
FIG. 4 is a partially cut-away plan cross-sectional operational view of the football playing table as shown inFIG. 1 ; and -
FIG. 5 is a partially cut-away plan cross-sectional operational view of a conventional football playing table in accordance with the prior art. - Referring to the drawings and initially to
FIGS. 1-3 , a football playing table in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises aplatform 20 having abottom plate 21, a plurality ofdoll players 30 each pivotally mounted on theplatform 20 and each located above thebottom plate 21 of theplatform 20, anartificial sod 22 mounted on thebottom plate 21 of theplatform 20 and located under thedoll players 30, and aball 40 movably placed on theartificial sod 22. - In such a manner, the
artificial sod 22 is located between thebottom plate 21 of theplatform 20 and theball 40 to increase a height of theball 40 relative to thebottom plate 21 of theplatform 20 and each of thedoll players 30. In addition, each of thedoll players 30 has a protrudingfoot toe 31 located at a height substantially equal to that of a bottom of theball 40. Thus, thefoot toe 31 of each of thedoll players 30 and theball 40 has a relativelylower contact point 32 as shown inFIG. 3 , so that when thefoot toe 31 of each of thedoll players 30 hits theball 40, theball 40 is kicked outward and upward to form a higher ball, thereby greatly enhancing the amusement effect of playing the table football. - As shown in
FIG. 4 , the height of theball 40 is increased by provision of theartificial sod 22, so that theball 40 is located adjacent to a radius of curvature of thefoot toe 31 of each of thedoll players 30 so as to eliminate a dead corner of thefoot toe 31 of each of thedoll players 30, thereby facilitating a user playing the table football. - Accordingly, the
artificial sod 22 is located between thebottom plate 21 of theplatform 20 and theball 40 to increase a height of theball 40 relative to thebottom plate 21 of theplatform 20 and each of thedoll players 30. In addition, thefoot toe 31 of each of thedoll players 30 and theball 40 has a relativelylower contact point 32, so that when thefoot toe 31 of each of thedoll players 30 hits theball 40, theball 40 is kicked outward and upward to form a higher ball, thereby greatly enhancing the amusement effect of playing the table football. Further, the height of theball 40 is increased by provision of theartificial sod 22, so that theball 40 is located adjacent to a radius of curvature of thefoot toe 31 of each of thedoll players 30 so as to eliminate a dead corner of thefoot toe 31 of each of thedoll players 30, thereby facilitating a user playing the table football. - Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
