Abstract
The present invention provides an introverted tent frame of large frame tent typically comprised of four poles and roof bracing struts, between two adjacent poles there are inter-pivoted brace sets set upon, said inter-pivoted brace set includes two cross bracing struts; on the other side, a sliding hub fitting on the pole in movable connection is connected to a bracing strut of the cross brace set in hinging connection; wherein, on the bracing strut hinged on the sliding hub, the distance from the cross pivoted point to the hinged point of the sliding hub is longer than the distance from the cross pivoted point to the other hinged point of the other bracing strut in the brace set. Therefore, the poles appears introverted state as pitched up, and appears vertical state as folded up saving space in storing.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a tent frame, and more particularly to an introverted tent frame structure in large frame tent.
- 2. Description of Prior Art
- In accordance with prior art, the conventional large frame tent is similar with the small frame tent in the structure, as shown in
FIG. 1 andFIG. 1A , it is typically comprised of four poles and roof cross braces, between two adjacent poles proper number sets of cross braces are located for facilitating to pitching or striking. Evidently, the difference between them is that there are at least two sets of cross braces set upon the two adjacent poles, after pitching up, the four poles stand on the ground rightly, the two or three sets of cross braces connecting over two adjacent poles are stretched out fully, then over with awning on the located frame to finish a frame tent up. Obviously said four poles of the large frame tent bearing the load is much more than a small one, so the so big load exerting on the poles often makes the poles swing, even occur the tent unstable, especially to the vertical poles. - For overcoming said problem, an introverted tent frame came out, as shown in
FIG. 2 , after pitching the tent up, the four introverted poles bearing the vertical load make the whole frame more stable than the conventional vertical poles without any swinging. For achieving the introverted poles, the cross brace set is shown inFIG. 2A , in which the hinged immovable ledge of the sliding hub fitting on the pole is stretched out longer than the prior art (comparing toFIG. 1A ), so that abracing strut 31′ of said cross brace set 3′ is hinged on the outer end of the hingedimmovable ledge 41′, therefore as pitching the tent up, the poles are pushed by thesliding hub 4′, and tilted out at the feet to form the introverted state at the top end. But this project also has shortcoming: due to the longer hingedimmovable ledge 41′, the folded framework of the tent appears to introverted shape keeping into trapezium small head and big foot, so the volume of folded framework is still bigger than desired, inconvenient for storing. - It is therefore a main object of the present invention to provide an introverted tent frame of large frame tent, in which the poles appears introverted state as pitched up, and appears vertical state as folded up.
- For achieving the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides an introverted tent frame of large frame tent, which is typically comprised of four poles and roof bracing struts, between two adjacent poles there are cross inter-pivoted brace sets set upon, said inter-pivoted brace set includes two cross bracing struts; on the other side, a sliding hub fitting on the pole in movable connection is connected to a bracing strut of the brace set in hinging connection; wherein, on the bracing strut hinged on the sliding hub, the distance from the cross pivoted point to the hinged point of the sliding hub is longer than the distance from the cross pivoted point to the other hinged point of the other bracing strut in the brace set.
- In said introverted tent frame of large frame tent, there are at least two cross brace sets between two adjacent poles.
- Said bracing strut hinged on the sliding hub is kept that the distance from the cross pivoted point to the hinged point of the sliding hub is longer 2 to 8 cm than the distance from the cross pivoted point to the hinged point of other bracing strut in this set.
- As utilizing above-mentioned project, due to the longer distance of the bracing strut hinged on the sliding hub than others, as pitching up the tent, the sliding hub is tilted under the pushing coming from the bracing strut hinged on the sliding hub, further to introvert the pole to stretch out at the foot, so that the whole framework appears introverted state for meeting the stable support goal.
- As folding up, due to closing bracing struts of the brace sets, the poles is brought to close together, in this time, the longer bracing strut pushes the sliding hub sliding along the pole continuously until the pole is turned to vertical state, so the folded framework appears to square structure, therefore the volume of the folded tent is smaller than the prior art, and save space as storing.
-
FIG. 1 is a scheme of the prior art. -
FIG. 1A is an enlarged view showing the part ofFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 2 is a scheme showing another embodiment of the prior art. -
FIG. 2A is an enlarged view showing the part ofFIG. 2 . -
FIG. 3 is a scheme of the present invention. -
FIG. 4 is a scheme showing the folded state of the present invention. -
FIG. 5 is a scheme showing another embodiment of the present invention. - Referring to
FIG. 3 , an introverted tent frame of large frame tent provided by the present invention is typically comprised of fourpoles 1 androof bracing struts 2, between twoadjacent poles 1 there are at least two cross inter-pivotedbrace sets 3 set upon for pitching and striking up the tent. Wherein, said fourpoles 1 can be telescoped along the axils for further reducing the folded volume; on each pole 1 asliding hub 4 is attached on in sliding fit, and a radial hingedimmovable ledge 41 is extended out from the outside wall for hinging abracing strut 31 of the cross brace set 3 on; on the tip end of each pole 1 a static hub 5 is fixed on for hinging the anotherbracing strut 32 of the cross brace set 3. - Said cross inter-pivoted brace set 3 includes two cross inter-pivoted
bracing struts 31 32, and they are respectively hinged on the static hub 5 and thesliding hub 4 with one ends, or pivoted on the another cross brace set 3 end by end. - The difference is that on the
bracing strut 31 hinged on thesliding hub 4, the distance L1 from the cross pivoted point to the hinged point on the slidinghub 4 is longer than the distance from the cross pivoted point to the hinged point of anotherbracing strut 32 of the cross brace set 3, the difference is selected in the range from 2 to 8 cm. - Referring to
FIG. 4 , as folding up, because thecross bracing sets 3 are closed up, thepoles 1 is brought to close to the center too, in this time, thelonger bracing strut 31 pushes thesliding hub 4 sliding along thepole 1 continuously until thepole 1 is turned to vertical state, so the folded framework appears to square structure, therefore the volume of the folded tent is smaller than the prior art, and save space as storing. - In the present invention, the number of the cross brace sets depends on the size of the frame tent, as shown in
FIG. 5 ; there are threesets 3 setup on between twoadjacent poles 1. it can be another choice, for example, one coordinating sides possess three cross brace sets, and another coordinating sides possess two cross brace sets to structure a rectangular shape frame tent.
