Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The invention generally relates to a packing box with cardboard walls. More particularly, the invention relates to a packing box with wooden or metallic frameworks.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- The traditional packing box for transporting goods comprises a pallet base, four wall assemblies and a top cover. First, holes are provided at the predetermined positions on these four wall assemblies. Then, the four wall assemblies and top cover are mounted. Next, screws are used to secure the four wall assemblies and top cover.
- During assembly, because the misalignment of these holes may occur, a worker may need to adjust the alignment between the pallet base and four wall assemblies, between these four wall assemblies and between the top cover and these four wall assemblies for several times. This makes the assembly quite difficult. In addition, the four wall assemblies and top cover of a traditional packing box are wooden or metallic sheets, which results in the increase in weight and production cost and the decrease in assembly efficiency and transport cost.
- To eliminate these disadvantages, the inventor has spent a lot of time to come up with the present invention, which has the advantages of fast assembly and the increase in assembly efficiency and transport cost.
- The present invention is to provide a packing box with cardboard walls such that: (1) The four wall assemblies and top cover are assembled into an box via the female edges of the four sides of the pallet base, the male edges and female edges of the four wall assemblies and the four top cover edges of the top cover. (2) The fasteners with two protrusions are mounted on these edges and the four wall assemblies and top cover are fastened with the bolts with a convex tip. (3) Last, the five cardboard pieces are fitted onto the four wall assemblies and the top cover so as to form a closed packing box. (4) Such assembled box has the advantage of fast and easy assembly.
- Further, the present invention is to provide a packing box that has the advantages of fast and easy assembly, reduced weight, reduced production cost and high structural strength.
- The present invention provides a packing box with cardboard walls. The packing box comprises a pallet base, four wall assemblies, a top cover, a plurality of fasteners and five cardboard pieces. A horizontally extending female edge is provided on each of the four sides of the pallet base. The right and left sides of each wall assembly are provided with a male edge and a female edge to allow two neighboring wall assemblies to engage with each other. The upper and lower sides of each wall assembly are provided with a male edge, and the male edge on the lower side of each wall assembly may rest on and engage with the corresponding female edge of the pallet base. Each side of the top cover has a downwards extending wall edge and a horizontally extending top cover edge so that the top cover may rest on the four wall assemblies via the four top cover edges and the male edges and that the four wall edges may engage with the inner members of the four male edges of the wall assemblies.
