Abstract
A negative ion hairbrush mainly comprises a comb holder and a handle which are folded and pivoted in overlapping manner. The comb holder contains a plurality of flexible or retractable combs and the handle embraces a negative ion generator and a negative ion outlet at the pivot joint directing the anion energy from the generator flowing toward the combs when the comb holder and the handle are in opening position. While the comb holder and the handle are in folded position, the negative ion outlet is exposed and the anion energy continues flowing outward so the negative ion hairbrush is used as the hairbrush and as the air purifier. When used as a hairbrush, the negative ion energy will neutralize the cation charge to prevent the hair cell from decaying and the hair from falling off.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- This invention relates to new creation of hairbrush, in particular, an integration of a negative ion generator to be effectively employed in the hairbrush.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- In most cases, the hair combs are made of plastic material, in hair combing, the friction creates great amount of cation, which is likely deteriorate the hair cells and renders them to easy death or causes the hair an easy falling off. This kind of trouble requires an early way of improvement.
- To avert such a deadlock, the inventor has designed a negative ion hairbrush. In operation, the negative ion generated from the hairbrush will neutralize the most amount of cation charge occurred in the comb friction to prevent the deterioration of hair cells and the hair falling off as well as to remove the hair knot caused by the over cation for easy combing. This is the key object of this invention.
- Another object of the invention is to provide a structure of negative ion hairbrush where the handle has a compartment to install the negative ion generator operated by DC power supply. The negative ion energy, generated by the negative ion generator, has a concentration of 100,000 negative ion contained in each C.C. at the distance of 20 cm away from the outlet. When the concentration of the negative ion reaches as high as 50,000 per C.C. it works as sterilization and air purification. When the hairbrush is in folded not in use, the negative ion outlet is still exposing to outside, it works as a portable air purifier to be employed in the car to avert the infection of the flu epidemic or the contraction of bronchus by dust and pollen.
-
FIG. 1 shows the appearance of the hairbrush of this invention. -
FIG. 2 shows the displayed form of the hairbrush of this invention. -
FIG. 3 shows another side view of the hairbrush of this invention -
FIG. 4 shows the negative ion flow in combing hair. -
FIG. 5 shows the hairbrush is working as the air purifier in folded manner -
FIG. 6 shows the electrical circuit diagram of the negative ion generator. - Please refer to
FIGS. 1 through 3 , the negative ion hairbrush mainly comprisescomb holder 1 andhandle 2, thecomb holder 1 planted with a plurality of flexible or retractable bristles 11. When thecomb holder 1 and thehandle 2 are in open manner, the bristle 11 will automatically jump upright for hair combing. When thecomb holder 1 and thehandle 2 are folded closely, the bristle 11 will retract to show a flat surface. - The
handle 2 contains a negative ion generator 3 and anoutlet 21 at the joint which joined withcomb holder 1, so the negative ion energy generated in the negative ion generator 3 will flow out of theoutlet 21 while thecomb holder 1 and thehandle 2 are in open manner, and the negative ion flow will pass the bristles 11 as shown inFIG. 4 . When thecomb holder 1 and thehandle 2 are in close manner, theoutlet 21 is still exposing outside and flow out the negative ion as shown inFIG. 1 . - The back-side of
handle 2 recess a battery compartment to receive two batteries 4 which supplies DC power to the negative ion generator 3. On the top of battery compartment, there isremovable cover 22 for easy replacement of batteries 4. The bottom end of thehandle 2 has aDC connector 23 to be linked to thecharger 5 as shown inFIG. 5 , when the DC battery is turned off, the DC power can be supplied via theconnector 23 and thecharger 5. - The circuit board of the negative ion generator 3 is provided with a switch S1, six capacitors C1, C2, C3, C4, C5 and C6, four resistors R1, R2, R3 and R4, a transistor Q1, a high frequency transformer T1, two sets of diode D1 and D2 to organize a high voltage oscillator, a high voltage transformer, a rectifying multiplier and a discharging polar as shown in
FIG. 6 . The batteries 4 or thecharger 5 supplies DC power to high voltage oscillator, high voltage transformer and rectifying multiplier which output the high voltage pulse current to discharging polar to generate a great amount of negative ion flowing out of theoutlet 21. The main switch S1 of the negative ion generator 3 is exposed outside on thehandle 2 for the operator to turn on or off the negative ion generator 3. - In physical practice, the hairbrush as provided in this invention works twofold, as a hairbrush and as an air purifier. As shown in
FIG. 4 , when thecomb holder 1 and thehandle 2 are opened, the bristles 11 will automatically jump upright for hair combing, meanwhile the on/off switch S1 turns on and controls negative ion generator 3 in operating and a great amount of negative ion is generated which coming out of theoutlet 21 will sweep over the bristles 11, as the operator moves the hairbrush onward, the negative ion energy will certainly and neutralize the cation when contacted. The cation is a culprit causing the death of hair cell, hair falling off and the knot in combing operation. - When the
comb holder 1 and thehandle 2 are closed, theoutlet 21 is exposed, when the hairbrush is inserted into thecharger 5, theconnector 23 of the hairbrush links to the terminal of thecharger 5 and thecharger 5 is thereby inserted into the socket oflighter 51 so the vehicular battery will supply the DC power to the negative ion generator 3. So the on/off switch S1 controls negative ion generator 3 in operating and a great amount of negative ion is generated. At this moment, the negative ion generated will act as an air purifier to purify the air in the car and sterilize the bacteria contained therein in an effort to prevent the contraction of flu epidemic or the infection of dust and pollen. - The hairbrush as provided in this invention is entirely new, novel creature to achieve the prospective advance, fully justified to grant a patent.
