Abstract
A pedestal assembly has a pedestal component and at least storage set coupled below the component. Each of the storage sets has two supports and a container slidably mated with the two supports. When an user needs to have more receiving space, the user can couple another storage set below the storage set for adding containers.
Description
- (1) Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a pedestal assembly, more particularly to a pedestal assembly, which can to be disassembled for moving easily and assembled into different combination types for adding receiving space.
- (2) Description of the Related Art
- Generally speaking, a prior pedestal assembly is used for storing articles. The prior pedestal assembly has a fixed height and a regular amount of containers. When the containers of the prior pedestal assembly are full, a user can't further put any articles therein.
- Furthermore, the prior pedestal assembly has a fixed shape that can't be disassembled. Because this reason, the prior pedestal assembly is not easily moved.
- According to above descriptions, the prior pedestal assembly still has some problems of inconvenience, which need to be improved.
- The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pedestal assembly, which can be disassembled for moving easily and assembled into different combination types for adding receiving space.
- In one of the combination types of the pedestal assembly, the pedestal assembly has at least one pedestal component and each pedestal component has an opening for storing articles. When an user needs more receiving space, the user can stack another pedestal component on the stacked pedestal components for adding openings. Certainly, the stacked pedestal components of the pedestal assembly can also be disassembled for moving easily.
- In another of the combination types of the pedestal assembly, the pedestal assembly has a pedestal component and at least a storage set coupled below the component. Each of the storage sets has two supports and a container slidably mated with the two supports. When an user needs to have more receiving space, the user can couple another storage set below the storage set for adding containers. Certainly, the storage sets of the pedestal assembly can also be disassembled for moving easily.
- It is to be understood that both the foregoing general description and the following detailed description are exemplary, and are intended to provide further explanation of the invention as claimed.
- Other advantages and features of the invention will be apparent from the following description, drawings and claims.
- The foregoing aspects and many of the attendant advantages of this invention will become more readily appreciated as the same becomes better understood by reference to the following detailed description, when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, wherein:

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the pedestal component of the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the four vertically stacked pedestal components; -

FIG. 4 is a perspective exploded view of combining the pedestal component and one storage set; -
FIG. 5 is a perspective view of combining the pedestal component and one container; -
FIG. 6 is a section view of combining the pedestal component and one storage set; -
FIG. 7 is a perspective view of combining the pedestal component and six supports; and -
FIG. 8 is a perspective view of combining the pedestal component and three storage sets. - Referring to
FIG. 1 , apedestal component 10 for use in a pedestal assembly includes a supportingportion 101, twoside walls 104, an opening 106, fournotching portions 102, and fourprotruding portions 103 and the pedestal component is made from different colored plastics. - The supporting
portion 101 is formed on a top side of thepedestal component 10 for supporting an article. The twoside walls 104 are extended respectively downwardly from two sides of the supportingportion 101. The opening 106 is defined by the supportingportion 101 and the twoside walls 104. The fournotching portions 102 respectively are formed at four corners of a top of the supportingportion 101. The fourprotruding portions 103 correspond to the fournotching portions 102 and are respectively disposed on two bottoms of the twoside walls 104 for mating with four correspondingnotching portions 102 of anotherpedestal component 10 on which thepedestal component 10 is stacked. - Referring to
FIGS. 2 and 3 , it will be seen that apedestal assembly 1 includes the same fourpedestal components 10, which are vertically stacked together. When an user needs more receiving space, the user can stack anotherpedestal component 10 on the stacked pedestal components for addingopenings 106. The stacked pedestal components of thepedestal assembly 1 can also be disassembled for moving easily. - Referring to
FIGS. 4-8 , apedestal assembly 2 includes thepedestal component 10 and threestorage sets 20 vertically stacked all together (FIG. 8 ). - Each of the
storage sets 20 has twosupports 200 and acontainer 210. The two supports 200 each include twoholes 201, atrack portion 202 and twobulges 203. The twoholes 201 are respectively formed at two ends of a top thereof and mated with the corresponding two protruding portions of thepedestal component 10. Thetrack 202 is formed on a side of thesupports 200. The twobulges 203 correspond with the twoholes 201 and extend downwardly from two ends of a bottom of thesupport 200 for mating with twocorresponding holes 201 of asupport 200 of another storage set 20 on which thestorage set 20 is stacked. - The
container 210 has twomating tracks 211 formed on two sides thereof and respectively slidably mating with the twotracks 202 of the two supports 200 for receiving articles; moreover, thecontainer 210 has a dent formed on a front side for being held easily. - Furthermore, the four
protruding blocks 103 of thepedestal component 10 are mated with the fourholes 201 of the two supports 200 of the storage set 20 stacked last, so that the threestacked storage sets 20 are coupled below thepedestal component 10. - When an user needs to have more receiving space, the user can couple another storage set 20 below the three
storage sets 20 for addingcontainers 210. The storage sets 20 of thepedestal assembly 2 can also be disassembled for moving easily. - According to above descriptions, the present invention has following advantages:

- (1) When a user needs more receiving space, the user can stack another
pedestal component 10 on the stacked pedestal components for addingopenings 106. The stacked pedestal components of thepedestal assembly 1 can also be disassembled for moving easily. - (2) When an user needs to have more receiving space, the user can couple another storage set 20 below the three
storage sets 20 for addingcontainers 210. Certainly, thestorage sets 20 of thepedestal assembly 2 can also be disassembled for moving easily.
- (1) When a user needs more receiving space, the user can stack another
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the invention. Further, since in the art, it is not desired to limit the invention to the exact construction and operation show and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the invention.
Claims (6)
1. A pedestal component for use in a pedestal assembly, comprising:
a supporting portion for supporting an article;
two side walls respectively downwardly extending from two sides of the supporting portion;
an opening defined by the supporting portion and the two side walls;
four notching portions formed at four corners of a top of the supporting portion, respectively; and
four protruding portions corresponding with the four notching portions and respectively disposed on bottoms of the two side walls for mating with four corresponding notching portions of another pedestal component on which the pedestal component is stacked.
2. The pedestal component as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the pedestal component is made from different colored plastics.
3. A pedestal assembly, comprising:
at least one pedestal component for being vertically stacked, each of the pedestal components having:
a supporting portion for supporting an article;
two side walls respectively downwardly extending from two sides of the supporting portion;
an opening defined by the supporting portion and the two side walls;
four notching portions formed at four corners of the supporting portion, respectively; and
four protruding portions corresponding with the four notches and respectively disposed on bottoms of the two side walls for mating with corresponding notching portions of another pedestal component on which the pedestal component is stacked.
4. The pedestal assembly as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the pedestal component is made from different colored plastics.
5. A pedestal assembly, comprising:
a pedestal component having a supporting portion for supporting an article, two side walls respectively downwardly extending from two sides of the supporting portion, an opening defined by the supporting portion and the two side walls, four notching portions formed at four corners of the supporting portion, respectively, and four protruding portions corresponding with the four notches and respectively disposed on two bottoms of the two side walls; and
at least one storage set for being vertically stacked and coupled below the pedestal component, each storage set including:
two opposite supports each having two holes formed at two ends of a top thereof and mating with the corresponding two protruding portions of the pedestal component, a track portion arranged on an inner side thereof, and two bulges corresponding with the two holes and downwardly extending from two ends of a bottom thereof for mating with corresponding two holes of a support of another storage set on which the storage set is stacked; and
a container having two mating tracks formed on two sides thereof and respectively slidably mating with the two track portions of the two supports for receiving articles.
6. The pedestal assembly as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the container has a dent formed on a front side for being held easily.
