Abstract
A width-adjustable curtain track includes a track assembly and a connection device to link to the track assembly, which, as well as connection device, can be undrawn or folded in the axial direction, to enable a curtain cloth that is attached on the connection device to extended or folded followed the connection device. Owing to the adjustable width function of the track assembly, the invention is applicable to various window frames for adjusting to required widths to further increase the convenience of curtain usage.
Description
- (A) Field of Invention
- The present invention relates to a width-adjustable curtain track, particularly to a track assembly and a connection device to link to the track assembly, which, as well as the connection device, can be undrawn or folded in the axial direction, in addition, the track assembly is applicable to various window frames increasing the convenience of curtain usage.
- (B) Description of Prior Art
- Window curtains in modern living houses mainly provide the functions of sunshade and privacy protection. FIG. 1 shows a
conventional window curtain 10, which comprises acurtain track 11, a plurality ofcarriers 12 that are set on thecurtain track 11, and acurtain cloth 13 that is hung on thecarriers 12 and moved in the axial direction followed thecarriers 12 on thecurtain track 11 forming the sunshade or folded status. - Seeing that the
curtain track 11 of conventional window curtain is unified, curtain specifications sold on the market are limited for consumer selections, in addition, the window sizes vary, and therefore, it is not easy for a user to find a proper curtain track for use. If there is an installed window frame with unique specification, the curtain track is required to be tailor-made for fitting the window size, moreover, the cost of a tailor-made curtain track is high, which does not meet the economic effect. - Besides, the
curtain cloth 13 connects to thecarriers 12 by being hung inholes 15 of thecarriers 12 throughhooks 14, therefore, when thecurtain cloth 13 is installed or dismantled, a plurality ofhooks 14 and theholes 15 have to be installed or dismantle, respectively, causing the inconvenience. In the event that thehooks 14 can not be dismantled when thecurtain cloth 13 needs to be washed, it is possibly occurred that thecurtain cloth 13 is torn or the washer is hurt by thehooks 14. - In view of the foregoing drawback of conventional draper, the invention mainly aims at providing a width-adjustable curtain track that comprises a track assembly and a connection device to link to the track assembly, which, as well as the connection device, can be undrawn or folded in the axial direction, so that a curtain cloth that is attached on the connection device can be extended or folded followed the connection device to enable the track assembly to be applicable to a variety of window frame specifications increasing the convenience of the curtain usage.
- Another object of the width-adjustable curtain track of the invention is to enable the curtain cloth to be torn off the connection device during the operation of installing or dismantling the curtain cloth.
- To enable a further understanding of the objective, structural features and function of the present invention, the detailed descriptions of the preferred embodiments are followed by the brief descriptions of the drawings below.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective drawing of a conventional used curtain track and curtain cloth.
- FIG. 2 is a perspective drawing of a width-adjustable curtain track of the invention.
- FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective drawing of a width-adjustable curtain track according to the invention.
- FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken about lines4-4 according to FIG. 2.
- FIG. 5 is a perspective drawing of a combination of curtain track and curtain cloth according to the invention.
- FIG. 6 is a perspective drawing of an extended curtain track of the invention.
- FIG. 7 is a perspective drawing of a combination of curtain track and curtain cloth according to FIG. 6.
- With reference to FIGS.2-4, the invention proposes a width-
adjustable curtain track 20, which comprises atrack assembly 21 and aconnection device 30. Thetrack assembly 21 has aninner track 22 and anouter track 23, which is set outside theinner track 22, enabling theinner track 22 and theouter track 23 to be undrawn or folded in the axial direction to the required width thereof, so that the curtain composition can be applicable to a variety of window frame specifications. Inside thetrack assembly 21 sets a plurality of equidistantly arrangedlocking slices 24 with acap 25 on each end thereof. - The
connection device 30 comprises two sets ofconnection components 31; each set of theconnection component 31 is formed by the connection of a plurality of connectingjoints 32, each of which enables apivot 33 to be inserted, so that the connectingjoints 32 revolve around thepivots 33. Besides, two sets of theconnection components 31 are set in the opposite direction for connecting each other, enabling the connectingjoints 32 to be crisscross arranged thereof. The invention employs apivot 34 to be inserted at the intersectional position of each two connectingjoints 32, so that theconnection device 30 is able to revolve around thepivots - Therefore, when the
connection device 30 is exerted by a pulling force, a diameter distance D1 between the connecting joints 32 (as shown in FIG. 2) being narrow to a diameter distance D2(as shown in FIG. 6); on the contrary, when theconnection device 30 is exerted by a pressure the diameter distance D2 between the connectingjoints 32 will restore back to the diameter distance D1. Hence, theconnection device 30 can be adjusted to any required width thereof. - The ends of the connecting
joints 32 of theconnection device 30 are respectively linked to a plurality oflocking slices 24 forming a connection relationship between theconnection device 30 and thetrack assembly 21, therefore, un-drawing or folding the inner andouter tracks connection device 30, which then moves along the axial direction as shown in FIGS. 2 and 6. - With reference to FIGS. 5 and 6, on the connecting
joints 32 sets asilk layer 35 with small hook to enable apile layer 41 on the back of thecurtain cloth 40 to attach to or separate from the connectingjoints 32. Therefore, the invention enables the usage convenience of easily installing or dismantling thecurtain cloth 40 of theconnection device 30. Seeing that the top edge of thecurtain cloth 40 is attached on theconnection device 30 through creasing thecurtain cloth 40, which, therefore, can be stretched out when theconnection device 30 is undrawn to fully accommodate itself to trackassembly 21 to adjust the width and maintain the consistency of the width, as shown in FIG. 7. - As shown in FIGS. 2 and 5, one side of the
track assembly 21 sets anoperating cord component 43, which enablesseveral operating cords 42 to pierce through therein, so that one ends ofoperating cords 42 hang down outside theoperating cord component 43, whereas the other ends of theoperating cords 42 connect to a plurality oflocking slices 24. Theoperating cords 42, therefore, form the folded or extended status of thecurtain cloth 40. - To sum up, the
curtain track 20 of the invention employs the adjustable width function of thetrack assembly 21 to enable thecurtain cloth 40 to be extended or folded through the adjustable width of thetrack assembly 21 and theconnection device 30, therefore, to increase the convenience of the curtain usage, thetrack assembly 21 of the invention can be applicable to a variety of window frame specifications adjusting the widths as required. - It is of course to be understood that the embodiment described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
