Abstract
An insole includes a layer of thermal-color agent coated on a top surface thereof and the color of the layer is subjected to change when the temperature of the foot is applied thereto. By this way, the real size of the foot can be obtained for a period of time.
Description
- The present invention relates to an insole which has a coating including a layer of thermal-color which changes color when being wormed by the wearer's foot.
- A conventional way to choose a proper size for kids is to measure the width and the length of the feet of the kids and then choose a corresponding size to fit in. Many parents will choose the size that is slightly larger than the kid's foot because the kid grows fast. In order to make sure the shoes are fit the feet, an insole is used to let the shoes adequately wrap the feet as shown in FIG. 1. In many cases, the shoes are larger than the feet so that a thicker insole is used to reduce the gap between the instep of the feet and the vamp of the shoes as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. In other words, the thicker insole allows the smaller foot to be fit in a larger shoe, although there is a space defined between the front part of the foot and the shoe. The parents usually press the toe box of the shoes to feel the position of the feet to judge how the feet can be comfortably fit the shoes. This could cause wrinkles on the toe box especially for the leather toe box and is not welcomed by the shoe store owner.
- The present invention intends to provide a convenient way to check the real size of the feet by coating a layer of thermal-color on the insole and the area of the coating that the foot steps on changes its color.
- In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided an insole of shoes wherein a thermal-color layer is coated on a top surface of the insole and the color of the layer is changed when the temperature of the foot is applied thereto.
- The primary object of the present invention is to provide an insole that has a thermal-color layer which changes its color when a warm temperature is applied thereto and a clear scope of the wearer's foot is visible on the insole.
- The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
- FIGS. 1-3 show that different thickness of three insoles are respectively put in shoes to reduce the gap between the foot and the inside of the vamp of the shoes;
- FIG. 4 shows that a layer of thermal-color is coated on the insole of the present invention;
- FIG. 5 shows a foot-shaped area is revealed by changing color in the layer of thermal-color layer on the insole of the present invention, and
- FIG. 6 shows that a foot is about to fit in a shoe in which an insole with a visible foot-shaped area is revealed.
- Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, the insole of the present invention comprises an
insole body 10 and a thermal-color layer 20 is coated on theinsole body 10. The thermal-color layer 20 is subjected to change its color by temperature difference. When a foot steps on the thermal-color layer 20 of theinsole body 10, a clear foot-shaped area 30 is revealed by a different color from the color of the thermal-color layer 20. Further referring to FIG. 6, the foot-shaped area 30 can be maintained for a period of time so that the user may put the insole in shoes to check the space that will be between the foot and the shoes. - By this way, the parents do not need to press the toe box of the shoe to check the position of the front part of kid's foot.
- While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
Claims (1)
1. An insole for shoes comprising:
an insole body and a thermal-color layer coated on the insole body, said thermal-color layer changing its color by temperature difference.
