Abstract
A shock-absorbing skateboard device has a main board, a downtube connected to the main board, a head tube connected to the downtube, a handle disposed on the head tube, a front wheel connected to the head tube, a rear wheel support frame disposed on a bottom of the main board, and a rear wheel connected to the rear wheel support frame. A shock-absorbing mechanism is connected to the rear wheel support frame. An adjusting mechanism is connected to the shock-absorbing mechanism.
Description
- The present invention relates to a skateboard device. More particularly, the present invention relates to a shock-absorbing skateboard device.
- A conventional skateboard does not have a handle to direct a direction of movement. The direction of movement is controlled by the feet of the user only. Furthermore, the conventional skateboard cannot absorb shock.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a skateboard device which can absorb shock efficiently.
- Accordingly, a shock-absorbing skateboard device comprises a main board, a downtube connected to the main board, a head tube connected to the downtube, a handle disposed on the head tube, a front wheel connected to the head tube, a rear wheel support frame disposed on a bottom of the main board, and a rear wheel connected to the rear wheel support frame. A shock-absorbing mechanism is connected to the rear wheel support frame. An adjusting mechanism is connected to the shock-absorbing mechanism.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective assembly view of a shock-absorbing skateboard device of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention;
- FIG. 2 is a partially perspective assembly view of a shock-absorbing skateboard device of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention;
- FIG. 3 is a partially bottom plan view of a shock-absorbing skateboard device of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention;
- FIG. 4 is a schematic view illustrating an operation of a shock-absorbing skateboard device of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention;
- FIG. 4A is a partially enlarged view of an adjusting device of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention; and
- FIG. 5 is a schematic view illustrating another operation of a shock-absorbing skateboard device of a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention,
- Referring to FIGS.1 to 5, a shock-absorbing skate-board device comprises a
main board 1, adowntube 40 connected to themain board 1, ahead tube 4 connected to thedowntube 40, ahandle 5 disposed on thehead tube 4, afront wheel 2 connected to thehead tube 4, a rearwheel support frame 31 disposed on a bottom of themain board 1, and arear wheel 3 connected to the rearwheel support frame 31. - A shock-absorbing
mechanism 6 is connected to the rearwheel support frame 31. - An adjusting mechanism7 is connected to the shock-absorbing
mechanism 6. - The shock-absorbing
mechanism 6 has alink unit 62 having afirst link 62B and asecond link 62A, anelastic element 61, and ablocking rod 63. - The
blocking rod 63 is disposed on the bottom of themain board 1 to block thesecond link 62A. - The
first link 62B is connected to the rearwheel support frame 31. Thesecond link 62A is connected to thefirst link 62B and theelastic element 61. - The adjusting mechanism7 has a
positioning seat 72 disposed on the bottom of themain board 1, aring 71 engaging with theelastic element 61, and abolt 74 fastening thering 71 and thepositioning seat 72 together. - A
screw 73 fastens thepositioning seat 72 and themain board 1 together. - After a long period of usage, the
elastic element 61 will be loosened. Thebolt 74 is adjusted to tighten theelastic element 61. - Referring to FIG. 5, the
rear wheel 3 is bumped by a rough ground. Thesecond link 62A will move upward. The shock-absorbingmechanism 6 provides a good shock-absorbing effect. - The invention is not limited to the above embodiment but various modification thereof may be made. Further, various changes in form and detail may be made without departing from the scope of the invention.
