(01. cs-cli The invention contemplates the provision of a body element of pleasing appearance which may be used as a holder of a standard container of condensed milk or analogous substances. Incorporated in the body element are means for puncturing openings within the top of the container, said means adapted for sealing the openings when desired and means for maintaining the container securely locked with thebody element.
Generally stated, the invention consists of a pitcher-like body element having means hingedly secured to its top which are capable of puncturing holes within the top of an air tight container having a liquid substance therein, such as con-' densed milk. Means are also provided for maintaining the liquid holding container in intimate contact with the underside of the top of the body element. A gasket is disposed between the underside of the top of the body element and the top of the container, when the container is maintained in locked position in the body element by a removable locking member which cooperates with the body element.
One of the objects of my invention is to provide means which may be used for puncturing holes in the top of the can, or container, and for covering these holes when access to the contents is not desired.
A still further object of my invention is to provide a holder and dispensing device that is simple in construction, pleasing in appearance and eifecvtive in its operation. 1
Another object of the invention is'to. provide means which are adaptable for puncturing holes in a standard can and also means for holding the said means in raised position when the milk is to be poured from the can.
With these and incidental objects in view, the invention consists in certain novel features of construction and combination of parts, the essential elements of which are set forth in the appended claims, and a preferred form of embodiment of which is hereinafter shown with reference to the drawing which accompanies and forms a part'of this specification.

Reference numeral 1 designates the body ele- 1 ment generally, a handle 2 is disposed at one side of and a pouring spout 3 at the oppositely disposed side of the body element. A top 4 is disposed across the upper end of the body element. Arms 5 and 6 are hingedly secured to the'top 4 by pin 7 which is journaled within lugs 8 that extend upwardly from the top 4. Puncturing elements' 9 and 10 are disposed upon the arms 5 and 6. Openings 11 and 12 are disposed within the top closure 4 and the puncturing elements are in direct alignment with the openings. The lower end 13 of the body element is open to permit the passage of a can or container 14 there- 30 through. A locking member 15 cooperates with the inwardly projecting ledges 16 and 1'7 disposed upon the inner side of the body element. These ledges may be made integral with the side walls of the body element as shown at 18 and 19, or 85 they may be secured to the body element. Ends 20 and 21 of the locking member rest upon the respective ledges 16 and 17. The lengthwise surface of each of the ledges is sloping as illustrated at 22 in Figure 4 so that as the locking member is partially rotated it will move up or down along the inclined surface. By'this arrangement the container is locked against or removed from the body element. A compressible gasket 23 is disposed against the underside of the top 4 and holes 24 and 25, which are disposed through the gasket, are directly aligned with the openings 11 and 12 disposed in the top 4. After the container has been placed within the body element and forced into intimate contact with the compressible gasket 23, it may have its top 26 punctured by forcing the puncturing elements 9 and lo'through the top of the can.
When it is desired to remove the contents from the container both of the puncturing elements are removed from the holes in thecontainer and the contents is poured to the opening nearest the spout 3. when it is desired to seal the holes in the container the puncturing elementsare placed therein.
