These objects are attained' by a novel con struction, combination andfrelation of parts, ashereinaiter fully disclosed. l The drawing accompanying andforining apart of this specification illustrates vone practical embodiment of the invention, but
it should be understood that the structure Figure 1 is a Vet() may he 'moditied as regards this disclosure without departure from the true spirit and broad scope of theinvention. Y f y plan view showingA the case as opened, ready for use.`
F igure 2 is an enlarged longitudinal sec- Y tional view oit the case in closed condition.
Figure 3 is a perspective vi-ew showing' thev case as opened and the rouge and lipstick l holderturnedup into position for use. Figure t is a detached perspective v'iew'of the lipstickholder. f f f The case is shown asy made up of two com-i plementary boxx sections, vwhich may beconsidered as a top or cover section 5 and a bottom or body section 6, the two'beingfhingedly connected together at their ends at 7. f A mir# ror 8 is shown mounted in the back ofthe coversection and at the 'hinge' end of this section'an over-standing clip Qi's shown provided for holding thepowderputf '10, which latter isillustinted as in theV form ofva bag adapted to be slipped overthe fingers ofthe user. A i
The powder which is shownin the form of a compact 11 and the rouge which is shown inV the form of a compact 1Q arecarried, in Vthe present disclosure, onthe backs or undei sides ol two cover plates 13, 1.4, having inter-linked hin'ge leaves 15,16, engaged on a pintle 17 mounted transversely in the lower or vbody section of the box. Thus, with the cover plates closed down as in Figure l, the boxV body is covered over, with the powderr and rouge out of sight and completely protected. Either compact is immediately accessible,
however, by simplyopening up one or thev other cover'plate, as indicated in'Figure 3. To facilitate these opening movements, the cover plates may be provided with the Outwardly turned iinger-hold lugs 18 which pro-` vplunger of the lipstickwhen the *lipsticky vis boX section. Y f
The compacts are shown mounted on suitf jectiout throughv notches 19 in edge of able hackings 2O which slide into guides pro` i vided by inturned flanges LV1 bent down at the edges of the back plates.v This. construes tion enables ready replacement of the com-A pacts'as they are used and the integral re.
taining flanges serve to strengthen and reinA force the coverplates. f f
f l v a lhe lower., hinged support which carries the rouge compact is also utilized inthe pres.- f
ent disclosureas a carrier for a lipstick and `is for this purposesliown .as vprovided at its rinposition for in'imediate'use andthe engagement of the buttonvQ inthe slOt'Q/l of the holder effects the retraction of' thefeed returned to its holder in the boX. f
The case, it willbe seen, can be made quitev thin and small,y the'coinpacts are .covered` and protected andare so arranged that whenfthe box is opened, as in F igure.y 3, the mirror is in` position for use and either compact maybe the box, where'it is entirely out ofthe-way.,V
r4'the `lipstick can be withdrawn 'freni its holder Vturned up,re'ady for instant use. rvAfter one A compact is-.used, it may be turned down into when therholder is turned up'out of the box section, as in Figure 3,*but when-the-holder is turned down into the box, as in Figures 1 and 2, the adjacent side wallet the box overstands v.the'gopen Vend Offv the holder,- -as indicatedi at 27 in Figure 1', andA so :.preventsgthe lipstick from accidently kslipping fout ofi-the holder-.45,y l, Y
