The essential objects. of my inventionare to diminish the amount of material; to employ 'a minimum of parts; to facilitate the assemblage of parts; and to attain these ends in a strong, simple, inexpensiveand sightly structure.

I claim 1. In a finger ring of the type set forth, an

annulus comprising a broad bearing and a reduced shank, the bearing being provided with a central orifice, an upwardly tapering hollow housing inset upon the bearing and provided with a central opening in its top, a tubular setting member engaging the bearing around the orifice and engaging the housing in the opening at a point remote from the orifice, and an ornament supported 'by the set V ting member.
