This invention relates to a combined coat and trousers hanger, particularly adapted.

An additional object of the invention i'sto provide a hanger of this character that may be readily folded when not in use, to facilitate the disposition of the same within a trunk or suitca'se while traveling. In this form of the invention by releasing the nut upon the hook 165, the strips 5-5' may be removed from the block which will release both of the bars 18 -18 and permit the hunger to be arranged within a traveling bag or suit case without requiring an unusual amount of storage space.

It will thus be seen that I have provided two forms of combined coat and trousers hanger that is well adapted for all the purposes heretofore designated, and even though I have herein shown and described the most practical embodiments of the invention with which I am at this time familiar, it is neverthel'ess to be understood that other modifieations may and scope of the appended claims.

Having thus described the invention, what I olaim as newand desire to secure by Letters Patent is g i I. A combined coat and trousers hanger, a coat hanger comprising a substantially V-shaped body including downwardly and outwardly diverging members, a pair of spaced parallel trouser supporting bars disosed between the lower ends of said memers, one of said bars being rigidly mounted and the other bar being movably mounted in order to permit disengagement from the aforesaid coat hanger, said last named bar being movable in an endwise direction, and spring means interposed between one end of aid movable bar and the complemental meme 1'. a v v 2. In a combined coat and trousers hanger, said coat hanger comprising a pair of substantially duplicate strips of metal having their adjacent ends disposed in overlapping relation and having their opposite end portions disposed in downwardlyand outwardly diverging relation and terminating in substantially channel-shapedboxings,aconnecting and pivot bolt passing through the overlapping ends of said strips and provided with a supporting hook, a pair of trousers supporting bars arranged between said boxings, one of said bars being ri idly mounted and the other-barbeing sepas ly mounted and movable in an endwisedirection, and spring means associated with one end of said last named bar.
