My invention relates to a novel construction of a vanity set, which can be made out of glass, ceramic ware or the like and which comprises a plurality of ornamental, and compact superimposed receptacles, the bottom receptacle, comprising a dish having preferably a relatively heavy or solid base and provided with an upwardly extending annular flange, by means of which the lower dish cover having an outer annular pendantflange is centered and supported, the top of said dish cover being provided with an upwardly extending annular flange, whereby a rouge box is produced the 'cover of which serves Ias a base for a perfume bottle of novel contour, the open end of said bottle being closed by a stopper and said bottle serving as a handle to obtain access tothe rouge box.

The elements composing my novel vanity set are preferably formed by a pressing or press blown operations and a novel, ornamental compact and convenient three compartment article or dressing table accessory is produced which is adapted for use on ladies dressing tables or the like and serves as a convenient container for a powder puff` or the like, rouge and for liquid perfumes, toilet waters and the like.

To the above ends, my invention consists of a novel construction of a vanity set, comprising a powder box, rouge box, and bottle for perfumes, toilet waters and the like, all superimposed upon the base ofthe puff box and assembled in a compact, convenient and ornamental manner.

For the purpose of illustrating my invention I have shown in the accompanying drawings several forms thereof which are at present preferred by me, since the same have been found in practice to give satisfactory and reliable results, although it is to be understood that the various instrumentalities of which my invention consists can be variously arranged and organized and that my invention is not limited to the precise arrangement and organization of the instrumentalities as herein shown and described.

1 designates my novel construction of vanity set, the same comprising the lower dish or bowl 2, which is composed of a relatively thick 01 heavy base member 3, having the thickened outer bead l which is provided with the upper seat 5, from which extends upwardly the annular fiange (i, the latter forming the outer' wall of the puff box. 7 designates the cover for the puff box, the same being provided with the annular pendant outer flange S, which encloses the lowei1 wall or flange 6 and is supported upon the shoulder 5, said cover 7 being provided with the upwardly extending annular wall or flange 9 which with the base or bottom wall 10 forms the rouge compartment or receptacle. 11 designates the cover of the rouge receptacle, the same being provided with the pedant annular outer fiange 12, which surrounds the flange 9, when the parts are assembled. 13 designates the bottle or receptacle for liquid perfume, toilet water and the like, the same being connected to the cover 11 by the neck 1-1 and being provided with the upper neck or mouth 15 closed by the stopper 16 which may be of any desired shape or contour, but preferably provided with a head 17 for convenience of removal. The bottle 13 serves not only as a container for liquid perfume, toilet water and the like, but also as a handle or knob which may be conveniently grasped for lifting the cover 11 to get v access te the rouge box and access can be conveniently had to the bottom receptacle 2 or the powder puff compartment upon the removal of the cover 7. By the provision of the thickened bottom wall 3 and the outer bead 4, a relatively large base or area is formed for the support of the entire device, so that there is no liability of its being overturned when in position on a ladys dressing table or in use.

It will thus be seen from the foregoing that my novel device comprises an attractive ladies dressing table accessory, wherein a powder box, or powder puff is readily accessible, the intermediate compartment serving as a rouge box, while the upper member serves both as a handle and as a container for perfume, loletwvater and the like.
