Be it known that 1', WILLIAM H. IVHITE, a citizen of the United States, residin at Touchet, in the county of Walla Walla and State of Washington, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Nail Pullers, of which the following is a specification.
This invention is in the way of a nail puller, and the object is to provide a simple and eflicient tool for this purpose.
In the drawing-- 7 Figure 1 is a side elevation,
Fig. 2 is a plan view, and
Fig. 3 is an end view.
The invention includes a handle 1, at the end of which is affixed a metal hammer head 2, the opposite end of the head being reduced to an inwardly turned nail jaw 8, which is also turned toone side as to the left, as shown in the drawing. A hill 4: is pivoted at 5 medially to the side of the head 2, and has a nail jaw 6 turned inwardly and to one side to meet and cooperate with the other nail jaw 3. The forward end of this bill is extended forwardly in substantial alinement with the handle 1 and formed into an insert point 7 curving upwardly from the foot 8.
In use, the point 7 may be used for insertion under a board for prying and loosening the same, after which the nails may be grasped between the jaws 3 and 6 and pulled out by elevating the handle 1.
While I have herein described a certain specific manner and method of constructing and assembling the elements of my invention, it is understood that I may vary from the same in minor details, not de-' parting from the spirit of my invention, 40 so as best to construct a practical device for the purpose intended, as definedin the appended claim.

head, the rear end thereof having a nail jaw turned inwardly and to one side to form a nail jaw to enact with the first-mentioned nail jaw, and the forward end of the bill being extended forwardly in substantial $5 alinement with the handle and being curved upwardly to form an insert point.
In testimony whereof I aflix my signature.
