To all whom may concern: I
Be it known that'L'Vi/Anrnn MoC-or, a citizen of the United States, residing at ()maha, in the. county of Douglas and State of Nebraska, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Header-Brick Molds, of which the following is'a' specification.
This invention useful improvements in molds and pertains more especially to a mold which is employed for making headerbrick, the latter used in the construction of hollow walls;
The primary objectof the invention is to provide a mold'which is of simpleconstrucafter raising of the mold and while the tamper is held stationary. I
The invention has still further and other objectswhich willbe later set forth and of themselves manifested in the course of'the following'desoription.

In proceeding .in accordance with the present invention, a mold is provided having side walls 1 and end walls 2 and 3 and an open top and bottom." The end walls have similar inward projections with tapering sides textending vertically along their inner faces and located to one side of the center of the side walls.

The molds are supported and carried by the mold carrier and can be raised orlowered atwill by theoperator, while'ithe pattemplate ;is suitably hinged man demysaid oopending'application.

'What is claimed is: r

In a mold, a base, a body on the base having side and end walls and an'open top and bottom. a pattern plate hinged to the base and Vengageable with wall of the body so as to be held thereby against outward movement, a pallet on the base,-and a tamper, said body being'upwardly movable from the base and pallet and while the tamper remains stationary to allow the pallet and brick thereon to be removed. 7
4.111 a mold, a base, a body having side and end walls, a pattern platecin the body removably engaged with one of the walls of the body and held against outward movement thereby, and a pallet seated on the base and which removably supports the body and closes the bottom 01 the body whereby the body can be raised up from the pallet while the latter remains stationary and the pattern plate then removed.

In a mold in combination with a tamper, a body having an open top and bottom, a pallet closingthe bottom otthe mold, and a hlnged pattern plate movable to engage the pallet to be held in place by the mold and movable downwardly away from the pallet upon ra sing of the mold and while noven'aent thereby, said mold body:
