l Be it known that we, s-iooius (ioLmniN and Lino Sennesmonn, citiztens olf the United States, residingr in the city, and county of San l4`raneisoo and State et California. have invented new and useful improvements in DisplayBoxes, of 'which the ollmving1r is a specification. Our invention relates to improvements i `display boxeswherein a window is provided 1n one wall to display the contents of the box and a transpzrrpnt niember is slidably mounted adjacent said window and hingedly connected to the' adjacent portion of the cover of said box whereby said window may be raised to provide access to the interior ot' said box when said cover is raised.

`We accomplish these and other tentures by means olf the improved devine diselosed in the drawings forming a part ot the preeent specification wherein like characters ol? reference are used to designate similar parte throughout the said specification and. drawings, and in which:

.The advantage ol this novel arrangement is that where one or more bor-:es are stored ontop ot each other on a display sheil or the like aecess may be badlto the contente of a lower boxl without 1'enun'ivi-infrthe upper bones but by merely raising; the cover oli the lower box slightly and the bores resting thereon, until the transparent member Ll is raised a, sullioient distanee'to permit with drawal oi the required contente oil' the bon l, [l 'further advantage ot this novel arrangement ie that where shirts tl or other similar goods are eil-ranged in layers, as dis-- closed in Fig. 3 of tbe drawings, one oli the lower shirts may be removed by' raisingI the cover l and transparent member al hingedly eonneoted tlfloreto until the lower edge ot said member Zl just clears the required article when said article may be removed and the member d will. then serve as .a stop to prevent withdrmral olf the upper 'portion ot the contents o? said bon l,

l. A display box having,r a window in. one L mail tbereol'; a suitable cover mounted upon tile box; and a transparent member er till il l) ino ranged to Close said Window and hingeolly 'onnected to said eover whereby said member may be raised to provide access to the interior of said box through the window therein when the side of said Cover adjacent said transparent member is raised.

A display box having a window -in one Wall thereof and vertie-allxy disposed grooves arranged adjarent the sides of said window: a suitable rover mounted upon the box; and :1 transparent member slidably mounted within the grooves and hingedly connected to theI adjacent edge of the cover whereby said window may beremoved to provide access to said box through said window when the edge of said cover adjacent said member isi-aised.

A display box` having a partition adja Cent to and parallel with one of the wulls thereoftoprovide a compartment, said partit-ion and wall having registering Windows therein; a suitable cover mounted upon the box; and` a transparent member slidably mounted within the compartment to close the registering windows and hingedly connected to the adjacent portion of the cover whereby said member may be raised to provide access to the interior of said. box through said registering Windows when the adjacent edge of the Cover is raised.
