IMPROVEMENT IN 'KNIFE-SCOURER S.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 136,598, dated March 11, 1873.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EZRA W. HAVEN, of Brandon, in the county of Rutland and State of Vermont, have invented certain Improvements in Knife-scouring Apparatus, of which the following is a specification:
My invention consists in the combination and arrangement of the various parts constituting an improved knife-scouring dish, as hereinafter describedand shown.
In the accompanying drawing, Figure 1 is a perspective View of the Whole apparatus, and Fig. 2 a longitudinal section of the same.
D is a shallow pan, made of tin or any other suitable material. B is an inclined bar about an inch and a quarter wide, with the ends bent at right angles and attached to the inside of the shallow dish or pan, and supported in the middle by the upright piece a, made about the' same width as the bar B. The bar '13 is made of a single piece of tin or other sheet metal, with the two ends bent so that when attached to the dish the bar B stands in an inclined position, as shown in the drawing.
