O`utside these clamps, and surrounding the arm, is f thelsliding band G, by means of which the clamps are held in place, in clasping the stud, and the upper part ofthe bracket is,by means of those clamps and band, firnilylield in posit-ion.

' Bis a clamp, provided with socket-H, to receive ground the platform is needed, and secure thefooti `clamp to the proper position in the stud. 'lhen insertfthe vfoot of the diagonal brace into the socket,

What I claim as my invention, and desire vto secureby Letters Patent, is'- A'scai'old-bracket constructed as described, and

vsupported by the socket B and hinged clamps, all

made and arranged to operate as and for the purpose set forth.
