Abstract

Pamuk bitki hücrelerinde ekspresyona yönelik özellikle uygun olan bir E. coli'den bir glutamin: fruktoz-6-fosfat amidotransferazı kodlayan bir nükleotid dizisi içeren izole edilmiş bir nükleik asit molekülü sağlanır. Buluş, aynı zamanda, bitki hücreleri veya bitkiler, özellikle bunların hücre duvarlarında artan miktarda pozitif yüklü polisakkarit üreten pamuk bitki hücreleri veya pamuk bitkileri ile ilişkilidir. Ayrıca, pamuk hücrelerinin hücre duvarlarında, özellikle pamuk liflerinde pozitif yüklü polisakkaritlerin içeriğinin arttırılmasına yönelik yöntemler ve araçlar sağlanır. Bu tür pamuk bitkilerinden elde edilen lifler, bu liflere reaktif boyalar veya diğer tekstil kaplama reaktifleri eklemek üzere kullanılabilen değiştirilmiş bir kimyasal reaktiviteye sahiptir.
