Abstract

Se describen metodos y sistemas mejorados para asegurar y monitorear carga. Algunos ejemplos proporcionan un sistema de monitoreo de carga ("SMC") que esta configurado para rastrear, identificar y reportar condiciones o eventos anomalos relacionados con los envios de carga. El SMC puede incluir un sistema de software que recibe informacion de las condiciones de las cerraduras electromecanicas que aseguran la carga. Las cerraduras incluyen terminales de datos que facilitan el monitoreo en tiempo real de la carga. Las cerraduras electromecanicas son instaladas en las barras u otros mecanismos (por ejemplo, anillos de las puertas) que cierran las puertas de un contenedor de carga, un vagon de tren, la puerta de una van o similar. Las terminales de datos incluyen logica que esta configurada para transmitir al SMC informacion acerca de las condiciones actuales, tales como ubicacion, temperatura, estado de la cerradura (por ejemplo, abierta, cerrada), intentos de manipulaciones, y similares.
