突出調整部材18の上端縁に突出部17が形成してある。すなわち、突出調整部材18の上端縁は、ガイド部11と筒状部12との間の折返し縁部15に沿って配置され、筒状部12に沿った軸方向の移動をもって折返し縁部15からの突出量Dを任意に調整できる構成となっている。
したがって、突出調整部材18の移動調整により、帯状フィルム100に付加する張力の大きさを任意に調整でき、供給される帯状フィルムの厚さや強度の違いに応じて柔軟に対応することが可能となる。

突出調整部材18の上端縁に形成した突出部17は、付勢ばね19の付勢力をもってガイド部11と筒状部12との間の折返し縁部15から突き出している。しかし、突出部17に接触する帯状フィルム100に過大な張力が作用したときは、付勢ばね19による付勢力に抗して突出調整部材18が引き込み方向に移動して、突出部17の突き出し量を減少させることで、帯状フィルム100に作用する張力を小さくすることができる。
これにより、帯状フィルム100が過大な張力作用によって損傷することを防止できる。

前記ガイド部の折返し縁部には、少なくとも中央部に、当該折返し縁部よりも突き出した突出部を設け、
且つ、前記突出部の突出量を、前記帯状フィルムの物品貼着部分が前記折返し縁部を通過しても、当該帯状フィルムが前記筒状部の円周方向にずれない張力を、当該帯状フィルムに与える量に設定してあることを特徴とする縦形製袋充填包装機。
