そこで本発明者は以上の課題を解決するために鋭意検討を重ねた結果次の発明に到達した。

造影用マーカー11は図1に例示するように放射線不透過性金属からなり、板状の芯材(断面が矩形状のため、「角線」ともいう)をコイル状に加工し、ピッチ巻き(各コイル間に所定のピッチ間隔PDを有する)のみにより形成したコイル部13よりなる。
[造影用マーカー11A]
造影用マーカー11Aは図2に例示するように放射線不透過性金属からなる造影用マーカーであって、板状の芯材をコイル状に加工し、ピッチ巻き部Pと密着巻き部Mによりコイル部13Aを形成し、ピッチ巻き部Pの両側に密着巻き部Mを形成している。
図2のように中間部にピッチ巻き部Pを配置し、その両側に密着巻き部Mを配置することにより、中間部にトルク性を付与することができる。
造影用マーカー11、11Aをカテーテルチューブ3に装着する際には、チューブに熱溶着するか、またはかしめるか、または接着剤を注入する等により固定することができる。また前記造影用マーカー11、11Aを構成する板状の芯材(角線)をカテーテルチューブ3に熱溶着する際には、板状の芯材(角線)断面の少なくとも半分が、同チューブの壁面に埋設されれば良い。

When the contrast markers 11 and 11A are attached to the catheter tube 3, they can be fixed by heat welding or caulking to the tube or injecting an adhesive. When the plate-shaped core material (square line) constituting the contrast markers 11 and 11A is heat-welded to the catheter tube 3, at least half of the cross-section of the plate-shaped core material (square line) What is necessary is just to embed in a wall surface.

本発明の造影用マーカー11、11Aは、バルーンカテーテル1、1Aのインナーチューブ3(ガイドワイヤールーメンを有し、ガイドワイヤー用チューブともいう)の外周に一個、好ましくは二個装着される。
