[Also in Division H1] A device for facilitating access to apparatus 3 comprises a cradle 1 comprising two vertical cheeks 5 spaced by horizontal ribs 4, 6 and provided on each of its side cheeks with a guiding device to guide it in vertical movement, and a locking device to lock it in a raised position. The cheeks 5 of the cradle are provided with handles 8 and holes 9 for electrical connecting wires, and are spaced by the member 6 and two ribs 4 to which are fixed frames 2 for holding the apparatus, such as printed circuits 3. Each guiding device comprises two arms 13 connected at their centres 22, one end 20 of each arm being pivoted to a side 5 of the cradle or a corresponding side 12 of the compartment 17, and the other end of each arm having a roller 21 which slides in a horizontal slot. The cradle is locked in its raised position, Fig. 1, by the engagement of the rollers 21 in recesses at the end of each slot, the cradle being unlocked by raising it slightly to release the rollers. Openings 23 in the various members reduce weight and provide ventilation.
