Abstract

802,872. Baking pans. WILKIE & PAUL, Ltd. Sept. 10, 1956 [Sept. 15, 1955], No. 26385/55. Class 28 (1). [Also in Groups XVII and XXV] A baker's loaf pan comprises two pivotally connected frames supporting complementary parts 22, 23 which form moulds for cooking dough when the frames are closed together, one frame consisting of a pair of side members 12, 13, Fig. 3, to whose inner ends is attached a cross-member to which are pivoted a second pair of side members 14, 15 forming a second frame, a second cross-member 16 being pivoted to the outer ends of one pair of side members so as to be turnable, when the frames are closed, into a position where it locks the two pairs of side members together. Members 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 are steel and the inturned ends 17A of cross-member 17 are riveted to the inner ends of side members 12, 13 whose outer ends are connected pivotally by rivets 19 to the inturned ends 16A of cross-member 16. The moulds are cylindrical and corrugated.
