Abstract
323,845. Hay, J. T. Oct, 30, 1928. Drawings to Specification. Alloys.-A rust-resisting alloy consists of iron alloyed with 0.4-0.5 per cent of copper, 0.05- 0.1 per cent of molybdenum, and less than 0.05 per cent of carbon, other impurities which may occur being 0.1-0.15 per cent of manganese, not more than 0.005 per cent each of silicon and phosphorus, and not more than 0.04 per cent of sulphur. Preferably the combined percentage of carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus and sulphur is less than 0.25. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 290,487.
