Abstract

1283210 Dispensing food J H LAURENT 9 Oct 1969 [11 Oct 1968] 49714/69 Heading A4T Apparatus for self-service distributing of e.g. food, comprises a cabinet having front and back openings and containing a vertical shaft 1 rotatable by a motor, preferably at the top of the shaft, and carrying flat or basket work shelves 2 which may have partitions or carry containers for articles. Compartments at the bottom of the cabinet may contain constant level devices supplying e.g. bottles or cups. The rotary shelves may be arranged on several shafts in a curved or V formation in the cabinet or the shelves may inter-rest. The shelves may be heated or refrigerated. The slow running motor may be stopped by a pedal 7 to allow articles to be removed, and a switch 8, operated to give a signal that there is a shortage of articles.
