Die Neuerung betrifft eine Rettungszeichen- oder Hinweiszeichenleuchte, bestehend aus einer flachen Streuscheibenanordnung, die mindestens ein Hinweiselement besitzt und von mindestens einer Kante her durch mehrere Leuchtdioden (LED) beleuchtbar ist.The innovation concerns an emergency exit sign or information sign light, consisting of a flat diffuser arrangement that has at least one information element and can be illuminated from at least one edge by several light-emitting diodes (LEDs).

Derartige Leuchten werden z.B. zur Fluchtwegkennzeichnung eingesetzt und verfugen dann über geeignete Informationspiktogramme wie beispielsweise laufende Person, Pfeil, Tür usw. Bekannte Ausfuhrungsfonnen bestehen aus einer Streulichtscheibe mit ein- oder angebrachten Informationssymbolen. Zur Beleuchtung der Scheiben werden üblicherweise Leuchtstofflampen eingesetzt. Theoretisch vorgeschlagen wurde auch schon die Lichteinspeisung von einer Kante her durch Leuchtdioden (LED). Konkrete Ausführungsformen bzw. die bauliche Gestaltung solcher durch Leuchtdioden mit Licht versorgter Leuchten mit einer flachen Streulichtscheibe sind noch nicht gekannt geworden.Such lights are used, for example, to mark escape routes and then have suitable information pictograms such as a person walking, arrow, door, etc. Known designs consist of a diffused light panel with information symbols built into or attached. Weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den nachfolgenden Schutzansprüchen 2-7 enthalten. Durch die Anbringung der Leuchtdioden auf einem gemeinsamen Trägerelement ist es bei der Fertigung hoher Stückzahlen kostengünstig möglich, in rationeller Weise z.B. automatisiert eine vorgefertigte Einheit als Lichtquelle zur Einspeisung der Streuscheibenanordnung herzustellen. Besonders vorteilhaft wirkt, nach weiteren Merkmalen der Erfindung, das Trägerelement als streifenfönnige Platine mit elektrischen Leitungsverbindungen auszubilden und -wenn platzmäßig unterbringbar- mit elektrischen Betriebsmitteln wie Netztransformator, Gleichrichter, ggfs. Steuerungselektronik u. dgl. zu bestücken.This task was solved by the features listed in the characterizing part of claim 1.
