Zudem sind die Stops an beiden Enden des Reißverschlusses jeweils als thermoplastische Polyurethanschicht ausgeführt, die einteilig mit der Vorder- und Rückseite des Reißverschlusses geschmieden ist. Auf diese Weise lassen sich eine Rissbildung bzw. ein Losgehen verhindern und somit die Festigkeit sowie die Luft- und Wasserdichtheit des Reißverschlusses weiter erhöhen. Dadurch, dass die Zähne wie Sägezähne ineinander eingreifen können, kann weiterhin die Eingriffsfläche vergrößert und die Wasserdichtheit verbessert werden. Ferner lassen sich so die Zwischenräume der ineinander eingreifenden Zähne ausfüllen, um die Wasserdichtheit weiter zu verbessern.
