Abstract

Method for at least partially automatically preparing software for transfer to at least a computer or for updating computer software, whereby a computer is used to flash the software. According to the method a sub-packet (100) and a script (200) are produced in a central computer. The sub-packet has at least an update command (20) and at least a sub-packet is assigned a unique version identifier. The script (200) and the sub-packet are automatically unloaded and or run in the receiving computer. An independent claim is made for a device for at least partial automatic preparation of software for transfer to or updating of a computer. The invention also relates to a corresponding computer program for implementation of the inventive method.
