Abstract

The wall mounted electric installation point or socket includes a housing socket (1) on which a cover (11) is provided. Opposing sealing surfaces (3,14) of an outer socket wall (2) and an outer cover wall (12) form a seal against penetration of water. At least one water drainage opening (6) is provided in the base of the housing (1). An inner socket wall (4) is provided adjacent the outer socket wall (2) such that a hollow space (5) is formed between the outer wall (2) and the inner wall (4). This space opens into the water drainage opening (6).
